We stand together in faith, lifting up this urgent plea for protection from spiritual attacks. The Word of God assures us that our battle is not against flesh and blood, but against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms (Ephesians 6:12). We take authority in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, who has already disarmed these powers and made a public spectacle of them, triumphing over them by the cross (Colossians 2:15).
Beloved, we rebuke every spirit of fear, torment, and oppression that seeks to disturb your sleep and afflict your body and mind. The enemy comes only to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that you may have life and have it abundantly (John 10:10). We declare that you are a child of God, sealed by the Holy Spirit, and no weapon formed against you shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). The Lord is your refuge and fortress, your God in whom you trust. He will cover you with His feathers, and under His wings you will find refuge; His faithfulness will be your shield and rampart (Psalm 91:2-4).
We encourage you to put on the full armor of God daily so that you can stand against the schemes of the devil. Stand firm then, with the belt of truth buckled around your waist, with the breastplate of righteousness in place, and with your feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace. In addition to all this, take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one. Take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God. And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests (Ephesians 6:11-18).
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. We thank You for Your promise of protection and deliverance. We ask that You surround this dear one with Your heavenly hosts, dispatching angels to encamp around them and guard them in all their ways (Psalm 91:11). Lord, we rebuke every spirit of disturbance, fear, and oppression that seeks to harm them. We declare that they are more than conquerors through Him who loved them (Romans 8:37).
Father, grant them peace that surpasses all understanding, guarding their heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). Let Your perfect love cast out all fear (1 John 4:18). Strengthen their faith, Lord, and remind them that You have not given them a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). Fill them with Your Holy Spirit, that they may walk in Your truth and resist the devil, so he will flee from them (James 4:7).
We pray for restful and rejuvenating sleep, free from nightmares and disturbances. Lord, You give Your beloved sleep (Psalm 127:2), and we trust in Your provision. Heal their body and mind, restoring them to full health and vitality. Let them find comfort in Your presence, knowing that You are their ever-present help in times of trouble (Psalm 46:1).
We stand on Your Word, Lord, and declare that no evil shall befall them, nor shall any plague come near their dwelling (Psalm 91:10). We thank You for Your faithfulness and for the victory we have in Jesus Christ. May they walk in the light of Your truth, growing ever closer to You each day.
In the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.
