We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting up this urgent plea for protection from spiritual attacks that are disrupting sleep and peace. The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy, but we stand firm on the promise that greater is He who is in us than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4). These attacks are not merely physical or emotional—they are spiritual warfare, and we must fight them with the full armor of God.
First, we rebuke every assignment of the enemy against your mind and body in the mighty name of Jesus. The Word declares that no weapon formed against you shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and we declare that every fiery dart of the wicked one is extinguished by the blood of Christ. The disturbances in your sleep are not random; they are targeted attacks meant to wear you down, but we command them to cease now. "For though we walk in the flesh, we don’t wage war according to the flesh; for the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh, but mighty before God to the throwing down of strongholds" (2 Corinthians 10:3-4).
We also recognize that spiritual attacks often come when we are vulnerable—when we are tired, isolated, or not standing on the Word as we should. Have you been consistent in putting on the full armor of God each day? Ephesians 6:10-18 instructs us to gird our loins with truth, put on the breastplate of righteousness, shod our feet with the preparation of the gospel of peace, take up the shield of faith, the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the Word of God. Are you praying at all times in the Spirit with all prayer and supplication? If not, we encourage you to make this a daily discipline. The enemy cannot prevail where the Word of God is spoken in faith.
We also ask the Lord to reveal any areas of your life where there may be open doors to the enemy—unconfessed sin, unforgiveness, bitterness, or involvement in things that do not align with God’s holiness. The Bible warns us, "Neither give place to the devil" (Ephesians 4:27). If there is anything in your life that is giving the enemy a foothold, we urge you to repent and renounce it before the Lord. Confess it, turn away from it, and receive His cleansing and forgiveness. "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness" (1 John 1:9).
Now, let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, the name above every name, the name by which every knee shall bow. Lord, we stand on Your Word that declares You have not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). We rebuke every spirit of torment, fear, and oppression that is attacking this beloved child of Yours. We break every curse, every assignment, and every plan of the enemy against their mind, body, and sleep. We declare that Jesus has already disarmed principalities and powers and made a public spectacle of them, triumphing over them in the cross (Colossians 2:15).
Father, we ask You to surround them with Your holy angels. Let Your angels encamp around them and deliver them from every evil work (Psalm 91:11). We plead the blood of Jesus over their mind, their body, their home, and their sleep. Let the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, guard their heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). Lord, we ask You to fill them with Your Holy Spirit, that they may walk in Your truth and not be deceived by the lies of the enemy.
We pray for a hedge of protection around them, Lord, as You did for Job (Job 1:10). Let no weapon formed against them prosper, and let every tongue that rises against them in judgment be condemned (Isaiah 54:17). Strengthen them in their inner man, that Christ may dwell in their heart through faith, and that they may be rooted and grounded in love (Ephesians 3:16-17). Father, we ask You to restore their sleep. Let them lie down and not be afraid, for You give Your beloved sleep (Psalm 127:2).
We also pray for wisdom and discernment for them, Lord. Show them if there are any areas in their life that need to be surrendered to You or any sin that needs to be confessed. Give them the strength to walk in holiness and righteousness, for You are faithful to complete the good work You have begun in them (Philippians 1:6). Lord, we ask You to fill them with Your joy and peace, that they may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit (Romans 15:13).
We thank You, Father, that You are our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). We thank You that no evil shall befall us, nor shall any plague come near our dwelling, for You have given Your angels charge over us to keep us in all our ways (Psalm 91:10-11). We declare that the enemy is under our feet, and we walk in victory because of what Jesus has done on the cross.
In the precious and powerful name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.
Beloved, do not grow weary in this battle. The enemy may be relentless, but our God is unshakable. Stand firm in your faith, put on the full armor of God daily, and speak the Word over your life. The attacks may be fierce, but they are also a sign that the enemy sees the destiny God has for you—and he is afraid. Do not give him a foothold. Walk in the light, confess your sins, and stay close to the Lord through prayer, worship, and the reading of His Word.
Remember, "The Lord is my light and my salvation—whom shall I fear? The Lord is the strength of my life—of whom shall I be afraid?" (Psalm 27:1). You are not fighting this battle alone. We are standing with you, and more importantly, the Lord of hosts is fighting for you. Be encouraged, stay vigilant, and keep your eyes on Jesus, the author and finisher of your faith (Hebrews 12:2). The victory is already yours in Christ.
