We stand together in faith, lifting up this urgent cry for protection from spiritual attacks that are afflicting both body and mind. The Word of God assures us that the enemy prowls like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour (1 Peter 5:8), but we also know that greater is He who is in us than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4). These disturbances in sleep and the relentless assaults are not merely physical or psychological—they are spiritual warfare, and we must take our stand against them with the authority given to us in Christ Jesus.
First, we rebuke every spirit of fear, torment, and oppression in the mighty name of Jesus. The Lord has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). We declare that every assignment of the enemy against your life is broken now by the blood of Jesus and the word of your testimony. The weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strongholds (2 Corinthians 10:4). We command every lying spirit, every spirit of infirmity, and every demonic force sent to harass you to flee in Jesus’ name.
We also encourage you to put on the full armor of God daily, as Ephesians 6:10-18 instructs. Stand firm with the belt of truth buckled around your waist, the breastplate of righteousness in place, your feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace, the shield of faith to extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one, the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God. Pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the Lord’s people.
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before Your throne of grace with boldness, seeking Your mercy and protection for our brother/sister under attack. Lord, You are our refuge and fortress, our God in whom we trust (Psalm 91:2). We ask that You surround them with Your heavenly hosts and station Your angels to guard them in all their ways (Psalm 91:11). Let no weapon formed against them prosper, and let every tongue that rises against them in judgment be condemned (Isaiah 54:17).
Father, we plead the blood of Jesus over their mind, body, and spirit. Cleanse them from every defilement and renew their strength. Give them peaceful, restful sleep, free from the disturbances of the enemy. Let Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard their heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). Strengthen their faith and remind them that You are their ever-present help in times of trouble (Psalm 46:1).
We declare that the enemy has no foothold in their life. Any open door that has allowed these attacks—whether through unconfessed sin, unforgiveness, fear, or compromise—we ask You to reveal it, Lord. Lead them to repentance and restoration, that they may walk in the fullness of Your protection and blessing.
Thank You, Father, for Your faithfulness and for the victory we have in Jesus Christ. We trust in Your promises and stand firm in the authority of Your name. In Jesus’ mighty name, we pray. Amen.
Continue to stand on God’s Word and resist the devil, and he will flee from you (James 4:7). Surround yourself with fellow believers who can pray with you and encourage you in your faith. Do not grow weary, for the Lord is your strength, and He will never leave you nor forsake you (Deuteronomy 31:6).
