We stand together in faith, lifting up this urgent plea for divine protection against spiritual attacks that have been relentlessly afflicting both body and mind. The Word of God assures us that we do not battle against flesh and blood alone, but against spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places (Ephesians 6:12). Yet we also know that greater is He who is in us than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4), and that no weapon formed against us shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17).
Father in Heaven, we come before Your throne in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the name above all names, the only name by which we may be saved (Acts 4:12). We declare that this precious one is covered by the blood of Jesus, shielded by the power of the Holy Spirit, and surrounded by Your heavenly hosts. Lord, we rebuke every spirit of torment, fear, insomnia, and physical affliction that has been sent to harass and disturb. We command these attacks to cease immediately in Jesus' name, for You have not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7).
We pray that You would station Your angels around this beloved child of God, to guard and protect in all ways (Psalm 91:11). Lord, restore peaceful, restorative sleep, and renew strength like the eagle’s (Isaiah 40:31). Let Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). We plead the blood of Jesus over every thought, every dream, every moment of rest, and every part of the body. Let no evil thing have place or power here.
We also encourage this dear one to stand firm in faith, putting on the full armor of God daily—truth, righteousness, the gospel of peace, faith, salvation, and the Word of God (Ephesians 6:13-17). The enemy seeks to wear down and discourage, but we resist him, steadfast in the faith (1 Peter 5:9). Speak the name of Jesus boldly, for at that name every knee must bow (Philippians 2:10).
Take heart, for the Lord is your refuge and fortress, your God in whom you trust (Psalm 91:2). He neither slumbers nor sleeps, and He watches over you continually (Psalm 121:3-4). We stand with you in prayer, believing that this season of attack will be broken, and that you will walk in renewed strength, peace, and victory. Keep your eyes on Jesus, the author and finisher of your faith (Hebrews 12:2), and remember that He has already overcome the world (John 16:33).
Heavenly Father, we thank You for hearing our cry. We trust in Your unfailing love and mighty power to deliver and protect. May this one feel Your presence like never before, and may every attack be turned into a testimony of Your faithfulness. We pray all these things in the powerful, precious name of Jesus Christ. Amen.
