We come before the Lord together, lifting up this urgent plea for protection from spiritual attacks that are disrupting sleep and peace. The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy, but we stand firm on the promise that Jesus came so that we may have life abundantly (John 10:10). These disturbances are not of God, for He gives His beloved sleep (Psalm 127:2), and we rebuke every spirit of fear, torment, and oppression in the mighty name of Jesus.
Heavenly Father, we ask You to surround this dear one with Your hedge of protection, as You did for Job (Job 1:10). Let no weapon formed against them prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and command every evil assignment to cease in Jesus’ name. We declare that the blood of Jesus covers their mind, body, and spirit, and no evil shall come near their dwelling (Psalm 91:10). Strengthen their faith to resist the devil, so he will flee (James 4:7), and fill them with Your perfect peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7).
Lord, we also pray for discernment to recognize the schemes of the enemy and the wisdom to stand firm in Your truth. Remind them that greater is He who is in them than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4). May they find rest in Your presence, casting all anxieties upon You because You care for them (1 Peter 5:7). We speak healing over their mind and body, declaring that by Your stripes, they are healed (Isaiah 53:5).
We encourage you to put on the full armor of God daily (Ephesians 6:10-18), standing firm with the belt of truth, the breastplate of righteousness, the shoes of the gospel of peace, the shield of faith, the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the Word of God. Prayer and fasting are powerful weapons against spiritual attacks, so we also encourage seeking God’s face continually.
Father, we thank You for Your faithfulness and for the victory we have in Christ. May this one walk in the authority You have given them as a child of God, knowing that no evil can prevail against them when they are under Your protection. We pray all these things in the precious and powerful name of Jesus, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
