We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up this earnest plea for protection, healing, and provision. First and foremost, we rejoice that this request is made in the mighty name of Jesus, for there is no other name under heaven by which we can approach the Father. "For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus" (1 Timothy 2:5). It is through His shed blood and resurrection that we have access to the Father, and we boldly claim the promises of God in His name.
Beloved, the spiritual attacks you are facing are not to be taken lightly, for our adversary, the devil, prowls around like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour (1 Peter 5:8). But we stand firm in the truth that "greater is he who is in you than he who is in the world" (1 John 4:4). We rebuke every scheme of the enemy designed to steal, kill, and destroy, and we command every spirit of fear, oppression, and torment to flee in the name of Jesus Christ. We put on the full armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil (Ephesians 6:11). We pray that you would be clothed with the belt of truth, the breastplate of righteousness, the readiness of the gospel of peace, the shield of faith, the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God. We also pray that you would pray at all times in the Spirit, with all prayer and supplication, staying alert with all perseverance (Ephesians 6:14-18).
Father, we ask for complete healing in body and mind. We declare that by the stripes of Jesus, you were healed (Isaiah 53:5), and we claim that promise over every area of sickness, pain, and infirmity. We pray for the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, to guard your heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). We rebuke every spirit of anxiety, depression, and despair, and we command your mind to be renewed by the washing of the water of the Word (Ephesians 5:26). We ask that you would cast all your cares upon the Lord, for He cares for you (1 Peter 5:7). May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, so that by the power of the Holy Spirit, you may abound in hope (Romans 15:13).
Regarding your financial breakthrough, we know that our God owns the cattle on a thousand hills (Psalm 50:10) and that He is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think (Ephesians 3:20). We pray that you would seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added unto you (Matthew 6:33). We rebuke every spirit of lack, poverty, and debt, and we declare that you are a lender and not a borrower (Deuteronomy 28:12). We ask that you would be a wise steward of the resources God has entrusted to you, and that you would honor Him with your finances, bringing the full tithe into the storehouse, that there may be food in His house (Malachi 3:10). We pray for divine connections, open doors, and favor in the marketplace, that you may prosper in all things and be in health, just as your soul prospers (3 John 1:2).
We also encourage you to examine your life for any open doors that may be giving the enemy access. Are there areas of unconfessed sin, unforgiveness, or bitterness? We urge you to confess your sins to one another and pray for one another, that you may be healed (James 5:16). Are you standing on the promises of God and walking in obedience to His Word? We pray that you would draw near to God, and He will draw near to you (James 4:8). Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. We thank You for the blood of Jesus that cleanses us from all sin and gives us access to Your throne of grace. We stand in the gap for our brother/sister, declaring Your promises of protection, healing, and provision over their life.
Lord, we ask that You would surround them with Your holy angels, that no weapon formed against them would prosper (Isaiah 54:17). We rebuke every spirit of fear, oppression, and torment, and we command them to flee in the name of Jesus. We pray that You would fill them with Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, and that You would guard their heart and mind in Christ Jesus.
Father, we claim Your promise of healing over their body and mind. We declare that by the stripes of Jesus, they were healed, and we ask that You would touch them with Your healing hand. We pray for a renewal of their mind, that they would be transformed by the washing of the water of the Word. We ask that You would fill them with all joy and peace in believing, so that they may abound in hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.
Lord, we ask for a financial breakthrough in their life. We declare that You are their provider, and we ask that You would open the windows of heaven and pour out a blessing that there will not be room enough to receive it (Malachi 3:10). We pray for wisdom in stewarding their finances and for divine connections and open doors in the marketplace. We ask that You would bless the work of their hands and cause them to prosper in all things.
Father, we ask that You would reveal any areas of their life that may be giving the enemy access, and we pray for a spirit of repentance and obedience. We ask that You would draw them near to You, and that they would draw near to You, resisting the devil so that he may flee from them.
We thank You, Lord, for Your faithfulness and for the victory we have in Christ Jesus. We declare that no weapon formed against our brother/sister shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against them in judgment, they shall condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord, and their righteousness is from You (Isaiah 54:17).
We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
