We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up this earnest plea for protection, healing, and provision. First, we thank God for the mention of Jesus’ name, for there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). It is only through Christ that we have access to the Father, and it is in His mighty name that we stand, covered by His blood and empowered by His Spirit.
Father, we recognize the reality of spiritual warfare, for Your Word warns us that "our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world’s rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places" (Ephesians 6:12). We rebuke every assignment of the enemy aimed at this dear one’s life, every spirit of fear, confusion, oppression, and torment. We declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against them in judgment, You will condemn (Isaiah 54:17). We put on the full armor of God, the belt of truth, the breastplate of righteousness, the readiness of the gospel of peace, the shield of faith, the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is Your Word (Ephesians 6:13-17). We plead the blood of Jesus over their mind, body, and spirit, and we command every demonic force to flee in Jesus’ name.
Lord, we also lift up the request for healing in body and mind. Your Word declares that by Jesus’ stripes, we are healed (Isaiah 53:5), and that You are the God who forgives all our iniquities and heals all our diseases (Psalm 103:3). We ask for divine healing, physical, emotional, and mental restoration. Touch every area of pain, sickness, or infirmity, and let Your healing virtue flow like a river. Renew their mind with the truth of Your Word, casting down every imagination and high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God (2 Corinthians 10:5). Bring peace that surpasses all understanding to guard their heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). If there are any areas of unforgiveness, bitterness, or unconfessed sin hindering this healing, we ask You to reveal them so they may be dealt with according to Your mercy and grace.
Father, we also bring the plea for financial breakthrough. Your Word assures us that You will supply every need according to Your riches in glory in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:19). We rebuke the spirit of lack, poverty, and financial oppression, and we declare that this one is a lender and not a borrower, the head and not the tail (Deuteronomy 28:12-13). Open the windows of heaven and pour out a blessing that there will not be room enough to receive it (Malachi 3:10). Give them wisdom in managing resources, discernment in financial decisions, and favor in the eyes of those who can provide opportunities. Let Your provision be evident in their life, not for greed or selfish gain, but so they may be a blessing to others and a testimony of Your faithfulness.
We also take a moment to encourage this dear one to examine their life for any areas that may be giving the enemy a foothold. Are there unrepentant sins, such as unforgiveness, bitterness, sexual immorality, or idolatry? The enemy seeks to devour like a roaring lion (1 Peter 5:8), and sin can create openings for his attacks. We urge them to walk in holiness, to confess and repent of any known sin, and to live in the light of God’s truth. If there are struggles with addiction, anger, or any other bondage, we pray for deliverance and strength to walk in freedom. Your Word promises that if we confess our sins, You are faithful and just to forgive us and cleanse us from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:9).
Lastly, we encourage them to draw near to God, for He promises that if we draw near to Him, He will draw near to us (James 4:8). Spend time in prayer, in the study of His Word, and in fellowship with other believers. The enemy seeks to isolate, but we are called to stand together, bearing one another’s burdens (Galatians 6:2). Let them be rooted and grounded in love, strengthened in their inner being by the Holy Spirit (Ephesians 3:16-17).

The wounds of the body are extremely painful, and if they amount to a breaking of the frame the torture is singularly exquisite. We very speedily care for bodily diseases; they are too painful to let us slumber in silence: and they soon urge us to seek a physician or a surgeon for our healing. Yet there is a fever in the soul far worse, those who have a fever in their souls are hot after sin, dried up with evil desires, inflamed with evil lusts. Touch upon certain points and we discover that they are diseased in reference to them, they are in such an inflamed state of mind they cannot be made to think coolly or judge calmly and they grow excited and angry. Their touch is that of a fevered hand.
But there is healing for you. Jesus knew what really ails the man, he is palsied in spirit as well as in body, and Christ removes the root of the disease by forgiving his sin. When Jesus healed the sick of the palsy, He said to him, "Son, be of good cheer; your sins are forgiven you." Pardon and healing were one! O you who are now sick unto death, ask to be forgiven and healing will come from the pardoning hand.
The leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations. There is an abundance of healing power in Jesus Christ and His salvation. Not only is His fruit sweet and nourishing, but the leaves, the little things, as it were, about Christ, are full of healing virtue. These healing leaves change the life blood, affect the spirits and make the nature other than it was before. The very least thing about Christ is healing. And He sees it with a mind which is deeply sympathetic and a heart quick to relieve! He never fails for lack of power, or because of a change of mind. There is healing for you, and I warn you that you must have this healing before you can work for Him. Your Lord must begin with you before you can begin with Him.

The spiritual attacks you suffer are repelled when the law of God is written in your soul, not on stone, but stamped by the Holy Spirit on a mind loving God. When the devil sees this inscription, he dare not even look upon it; from afar he turns his back. So flee to the fountain of divine words continually. Let no discouragement persuade you that you lack the strength to resist, for the fierceness in us is from choice, not nature, and the grace of the Spirit is mightier than any human reasoning.
For healing in body and mind, understand that the blood of Christ does not simply sprinkle the surface, as with the old purifications, but it enters the soul, mixed with its very substance, making it vigorous and pure. That is the cleansing you seek, a spiritual cleansing that brings true peace. The mind set on the Spirit is life and peace, while the mind set on the flesh is death. Do not drag down the promise of health to mere bodily consequences, like Nicodemus puzzling over rebirth, but receive with faith the healing that flows from Christ’s blood.
As for financial breakthrough, remember that bodily exercise profits little, but godliness is profitable for all things, holding promise for the present life and the life to come. The anxious pursuit of gain is a snare of the satanical mind; wine was made for cheer, not for drunkenness, and so earthly goods are for use, not for a master. If you are spiritually minded, you will enjoy a great calm amidst every storm, and the necessities of life will not be withheld. The table of the Lord, the communion of the one body, is the wellspring of every blessing. So stand firm in the one hope of your calling, and let us together draw near to this house of healing, where we find not only protection but every true gift in Jesus Christ.

The battle you are in is real. Spiritual attacks are not theoretical, and the enemy uses both frontal assaults and insidious whispers from within. Physical weapons have no value here. God has given you spiritual armor to withstand these attacks. When the enemy presses in, take up the sword of the Spirit, which is the Word of God. Jesus met every temptation with “It is written,” and you can do the same. Hide Scripture in your heart, speak it aloud, and refuse the lies. Then rejoice, not because the attack disappears instantly, but because the finished work of Christ has already secured your victory. He who is in you is greater.
Pray for protection, yes, but also take practical steps. Nehemiah set watchmen on the walls and armed the workers with a trowel in one hand and a sword in the other. Sometimes you must bar the gates, guard your mind, and limit what you give access to. The enemy knows your vulnerabilities, but you are not defenseless.
You asked for healing in body and mind. Jesus still heals. Isaiah 53 speaks of Him bearing our infirmities and carrying our sorrows, not only the sickness of sin but the physical and emotional wounds as well. When He broke the bread, He said, “This is my body, broken for you.” There is power in that sacrifice for your healing. I have seen instantaneous healing, the kind where you feel it rush through you, and I have seen gradual restoration that no less bears the fingerprints of God. Even the body’s natural processes of repair are divine, because He designed them. Do not despise the slow work; it is still His work. And sometimes the healing is not in the body but in the mind and emotions, where scars are mended and peace returns. Jesus did not use a single pattern. He touched, He spoke a word, He commanded over a distance. Trust Him to do what is best, even when you cannot understand why one person is healed and another waits. Paul prayed three times for the thorn to be removed, and God answered with sufficient grace. Your faith rests not on the healing itself but on the Healer.
