We lift up this urgent cry for protection with heavy hearts, standing in the gap for your child and all who may be suffering abuse. The Lord is near to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18). We declare that no weapon formed against your child shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against him in judgment, God will condemn (Isaiah 54:17). The enemy comes to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that we may have life abundantly (John 10:10).
Father, we ask You to dispatch Your holy angels to encamp around your child, to be a shield and a fortress in his time of trouble (Psalm 91:11, Psalm 32:7). Let Your presence go before him, behind him, and beside him, making the crooked paths straight and the rough places smooth (Isaiah 45:2). We rebuke every spirit of violence, oppression, and fear in the name of Jesus, commanding them to flee and never return. The Lord is a refuge for the oppressed, a stronghold in times of trouble (Psalm 9:9).
We pray for divine intervention—let the abusers be stopped in their tracks, their plans confounded, and their hearts turned to repentance. If they do not know You, Lord, we ask that You draw them to Yourself, for You desire that none should perish but that all should come to repentance (2 Peter 3:9). If they refuse to turn from their wickedness, we trust in Your justice, for You will avenge the blood of the innocent (Revelation 6:10).
Father, we ask for healing—body, soul, and spirit—for your child. Bind up his wounds and restore what has been broken (Psalm 147:3). Let him know that he is fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14) and that his life has purpose and value in Your eyes. Surround him with godly people who will speak life, truth, and encouragement into his situation. Provide him with safe spaces, wise counsel, and the strength to walk in Your peace.
We also pray for wisdom for those in authority—teachers, law enforcement, social workers, and anyone else who may be in a position to help. Give them discernment to see the truth, courage to act, and compassion to respond with justice and mercy (Proverbs 21:15).
Lord, we declare that this abuse will not define your child’s future. Instead, let him rise from this trial stronger, wiser, and more dependent on You. May he become a testimony of Your faithfulness and a vessel of Your love and healing to others who have suffered similarly.
We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the Name above all names, the One who has conquered sin, death, and every power of darkness. There is no other name by which we can be saved or delivered (Acts 4:12). We trust in You, Lord, for You are our rock, our salvation, and our deliverer. Amen.
