We stand with you in the power of our Lord Jesus Christ, interceding for your son's protection and safety. We declare that God's will is for peace and goodness, not harm or abuse. We pray that God will intervene and shield your son from any danger or mistreatment.
Let us remember the words of the Psalmist, But you, God, see the trouble of the afflicted. You consider their grief and take them in hand. The victims commit themselves to you; you are the helper of the fatherless. Psalm 10:14
We pray that the Lord will expose any wickedness and bring it to an end. We ask that God will give you and your son His divine protection, and we will pray and work to ensure your son is safe from harm. We will also pray that the Lord will give you the strength and wisdom to take any necessary actions to protect your son and others.
We also pray for the one causing the harm, that they will repent and turn away from their wickedness. For I have no pleasure in the death of anyone who dies, says the Lord Yahweh. Therefore turn yourselves, and live! Ezekiel 18:32
We should also discuss relationships and marriage. We believe that God has established marriage to be a lifelong union between one man and one woman. Its purpose is to bring glory to God, to reflect the relationship between Christ and His Church. We will encourage your son, and all, to pursue godly relationships and marriages. If your son is not married, we will pray that God will bring a godly spouse into his life, and we will encourage him to remain sexually pure until marriage. We will also pray that God will give him the strength to resist any temptation to engage in sexual immorality, and that he will be a man of integrity.
Let us also remember the words of the Apostle Paul, Or don't you know that the unrighteous will not inherit God's Kingdom? Don't be deceived. Neither the sexually immoral, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor male prostitutes, nor homosexuals, nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor slanderers, nor extortioners, will inherit God's Kingdom. 1 Corinthians 6:9-10
We will pray that the Lord will guide your son in all his relationships, and that he will be a man of God who follows His will for his life.
