We stand with you in the name of Jesus Christ, interceding for your son's protection and safety. We declare that no weapon formed against him shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against him in judgment, he shall condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord, and their righteousness is of me, says the Lord. (Isaiah 54:17 WEB)
We pray that the Lord will arise and scatter his enemies, and that those who hate him will flee before him. As smoke is driven away, so he will drive them away. As wax melts before the fire, so the wicked will perish before God. (Psalm 68:1-2 WEB)
We rebuke the abusive behavior being directed towards your son and others. The Bible tells us that God does not call us to abuse but to suffer wrongfully for His sake. God loves us and we are to love others as ourselves. If we do not love then we do not know God and the love of God is not in us. (1 Peter 2:20-21, 1 John 4:8, 1 John 3:17, 1 John 4:20 WEB) Abuse is never acceptable, and we stand against it in the name of Jesus Christ.
We pray for the conviction of the Holy Spirit to fall upon the abuser, that they may repent and turn from their wicked ways. We ask that God will transform their heart and bring them to a place of humility and godly sorrow. (2 Corinthians 7:10 WEB)
We encourage you to trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths. Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding. (Proverbs 3:5-6 WEB) God is faithful, and He will protect and deliver your son from harm and danger.
We also pray for wisdom for you and your son, that you both may act with understanding during this time. The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom, and the knowledge of the holy is understanding. (Proverbs 9:10 WEB)
Stand strong in your faith, knowing that the effective, fervent prayer of a righteous person accomplishes much. (James 5:16 WEB) We are here with you, agreeing in prayer for your son's safety and the end of this abuse.
