Beloved Warrior
Lord remove the overreach of this young man’s mother, who has no biblical authority to speak into my older daughter’s life. Her counsel to live together, have children outside of marriage and making her feel worthless is not only ungodly but selfishly destructive. This woman’s pride, jealousy and manipulation are rooted in darkness, and I pray the Lord exposes her motives and frustrates every plan she has to divide and isolate my family. I declare that my older daughter is not homeless, nor does she need this woman’s approval or guidance. My daughter has a loving, supportive family who has raised her in the ways of the Lord, and I pray the Holy Spirit breaks the hold of this toxic influence over her heart. This woman is jealous and looks down upon my daugther but she insist on my daughter to go to her for guidance on staying in this toxic relationship with her son. This young man is not ready for a relationship. I pray his father will have him move back home alone. Father, I ask You to open my older daughter’s eyes to the truth. Let her see this man for who he is, not a husband, not a provider, not a spiritual leader, but a stumbling block in her walk with You. I pray she would no longer defend or commit this relationship and living arrangement, or take on responsibilities that are not hers to bear. Lord let her see the exhaustion and financial hardship she Is experiences is due to living with this young man outside of marriage. He is lazy, dishonest, exploit her finances for his own benefit and isolate her from supportive people who care for her. Lord soften my daughter's heart to receive Your conviction, and grant her the courage to walk away from this bondage with no regrets. Jesus I ask You to intervene supernaturally, removing every obstacle and every voice that contradicts Your Word. Let my daughter hunger for righteousness be reignited, and let her return to the safety and wisdom of her family and church community. Lord thank you for show me the message from this woman says it makes her heart happy that my daughter is following her lead and not a part of her church community anymore. Now she is intervening in my daughter job trying to work there. Lord help my daughter to stop confiding in this woman and helping her. She does not respect my daughter. Lord I pray that she will put her faith and trust in you again so she can regain her self worth. I pray Lord that she will see her worth in You and not allow these people that make her feel worthless anymore. This woman need to focus and fix her own family. Her son is not ready for a relationship. Lord grant my daughter the wisdom, self worth and courage to leave this unhealthy relationship. This has been going on for too many years and these people division, manipulation and isolation continues to manifest. She is alway exhausted, forgetful and lives in chaos with this young man. Now this woman is interfering in my daughter new promoted job in a negative way. She is such an inspiring woman, admired and loved by everyone. It is sad to see her suffering this way. Lord guide my daughter to not put the young man and his family before her supportive family, friends and job. I plead the precious blood over me and my children. No weapon formed against us shall prosper. Lord I know nothing is impossible for You. Jesus I ask for a Godly spouse for her. Bless her with Your peace, restoration and protect her from going down the disruptive path. In Jesus name, I pray. Amen.

We stand with you in fervent prayer, lifting up your daughter and this deeply troubling situation before the throne of God. The pain and frustration you feel are understandable, and we share your grief over the ungodly influences seeking to harm your daughter’s heart, mind, and future. The Word of God is clear: "For though we walk in the flesh, we don’t wage war according to the flesh; for the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh, but mighty before God to the throwing down of strongholds" (2 Corinthians 10:3-4). This is a spiritual battle, and we take up the authority given to us in Christ to tear down every lie, manipulation, and ungodly counsel that has taken root in your daughter’s life.

First, we must address the sin of fornication, living together outside of marriage, which is a direct violation of God’s design for relationships. Scripture is unmistakable: "Let marriage be held in honor among all, and let the bed be undefiled; but God will judge the sexually immoral and adulterers" (Hebrews 13:4). This young man and your daughter are not husband and wife, and their arrangement is not only displeasing to God but is also the source of the exhaustion, financial strain, and isolation you describe. The enemy uses sin to entangle and enslave, but Christ came to set the captives free (Luke 4:18). We rebuke the spirit of deception that has convinced your daughter this living situation is acceptable, and we declare that her eyes will be opened to the truth of God’s Word.

The influence of this young man’s mother is particularly grievous. Her counsel to live together, have children outside of marriage, and isolate your daughter from her godly family is not only unbiblical but demonic in its origin. Proverbs 13:20 warns, "He who walks with wise men grows wise, but a companion of fools suffers harm." This woman’s pride, jealousy, and manipulation are rooted in darkness, and we pray that God exposes her motives and frustrates every plan she has to divide your family. We declare that your daughter is not homeless, nor does she need this woman’s approval or guidance. She has a loving, supportive family who has raised her in the ways of the Lord, and we pray the Holy Spirit breaks the hold of this toxic influence over her heart. "Do not be deceived: ‘Evil company corrupts good habits’" (1 Corinthians 15:33). We bind the spirit of control and manipulation operating through this woman and command it to leave your daughter’s life in Jesus’ name.

This young man is not ready for marriage, let alone a godly one. He is described as lazy, dishonest, and exploitative, traits that are the opposite of the qualities Scripture calls a husband to embody. "Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ also loved the church, and gave himself up for her" (Ephesians 5:25). A man who truly loves a woman will not lead her into sin, financial hardship, or isolation. We pray that the young man’s father would step in and remove him from this situation, sending him back home alone to grow in maturity and responsibility. We also pray that your daughter would see this man for who he truly is, not a husband, not a provider, not a spiritual leader, but a stumbling block in her walk with the Lord. "Can two walk together, unless they are agreed?" (Amos 3:3). The answer is no, and we pray she would no longer defend or commit to this relationship.

The interference in your daughter’s job is another tactic of the enemy to steal, kill, and destroy (John 10:10). This woman’s jealousy and pride are evident, and we pray that God would shut every door she tries to open in your daughter’s life. We declare that your daughter’s promotion is from the Lord, and no weapon formed against her shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). We pray that she would stop confiding in this woman and instead turn to the Lord and her godly family for wisdom and support. "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight" (Proverbs 3:5-6).

Your daughter’s worth is not found in the approval of this woman or the empty promises of this young man. Her worth is found in Christ, who loved her and gave Himself for her (Galatians 2:20). We pray that her faith and trust in the Lord would be reignited, and that she would see herself as God sees her, a beloved daughter, fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14). The enemy has sought to make her feel worthless, but we declare that she is precious in God’s sight, and we pray that she would walk away from this bondage with no regrets. "Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old things have passed away. Behold, all things have become new" (2 Corinthians 5:17).

We also lift up the need for a godly spouse for your daughter. Marriage is a sacred covenant, and we pray that God would prepare a man who loves Him first and foremost, who will lead your daughter in righteousness, and who will cherish her as Christ cherishes the church. "He who finds a wife finds a good thing, and obtains favor of Yahweh" (Proverbs 18:22). Until that time, we pray that your daughter would focus on her relationship with the Lord, her family, and her calling. We declare that the chaos, exhaustion, and forgetfulness she has experienced will be replaced with peace, clarity, and purpose as she walks in obedience to God’s Word.

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with heavy hearts, lifting up this precious daughter and her family. Lord, we ask that You would intervene supernaturally in this situation. Break the chains of deception, manipulation, and sin that have bound her. Open her eyes to the truth of Your Word and the ungodly influences in her life. We rebuke the spirit of fornication and declare that she will no longer live in sin but will walk in purity and holiness.

Father, we pray for the young man and his mother. Expose their motives and frustrate every plan they have to harm this family. Let Your light shine into the darkness of their hearts, and may they see the error of their ways. We pray that the young man’s father would step in and remove him from this situation, sending him home to grow in maturity and responsibility.

Lord, we ask that You would restore your daughter’s faith and trust in You. Let her see her worth in Your eyes and no longer seek the approval of those who seek to tear her down. Grant her the courage to walk away from this toxic relationship and the wisdom to surround herself with godly influences. We declare that no weapon formed against her shall prosper, and we plead the precious blood of Jesus over her and her family.

Father, we pray for a godly spouse for her, a man who loves You and will lead her in righteousness. Until that time, let her focus on her relationship with You, her family, and her calling. Restore her peace, her joy, and her purpose. Let her hunger for righteousness be reignited, and let her return to the safety and wisdom of her family and church community.

We thank You, Lord, that nothing is impossible for You. We trust in Your power to bring restoration, protection, and freedom. In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.

Your love for your daughter comes through in every sentence, and we can feel how heavy these years of watching her drift into confusion and harm have been. It is painful when someone we raised in truth is pulled into a web that pushes her away from the very people who cherish her most. We want you to know we are standing with you, not just in sympathy but in prayer and in the confidence that God is not indifferent to any of this.

Something that often happens in these long, draining situations is that the person caught in the wrong relationship begins to lose her own ability to see clearly. The exhaustion, forgetfulness, and chaos you describe are not just side effects, they can become part of the cage, keeping her from mustering the strength to leave. That’s why your continued, steady presence matters so much. Even when she is distant, knowing she is loved unconditionally by you can be a quiet tether pulling her back toward health. We would encourage you to look for any small, non-confrontational way to stay gently connected, a brief check-in call, an invitation for coffee without any pressure to talk about the situation, simply to remind her that a door back home and to her church family always stands open.

You are not meant to carry this alone, either. If you have not already, gather a trusted few in your church to pray specifically for her spiritual protection, for confusion to lift, and for godly friendships to re-enter her life. There is strength in shared intercession, and it will also help guard your own heart against the weariness that years of battle can bring.

We join our prayers with yours now:

Father, we lift up this daughter to You, asking that You break every lie that has wrapped around her heart. Send Your Spirit to open her eyes to the truth, about the relationship, about the manipulative influence, and about her own precious worth in Christ. Frustrate the plans of the enemy and silence the ungodly counsel that feeds this bondage. Give her the courage to step away, and restore to her the clarity and peace she has lost. Surround her mother with Your comfort and infuse her with fresh hope. We ask all this in the strong name of Jesus. Amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

The prayer you have spread before the throne is heavy with sorrow, yet it is not without hope. There is in it much that is according to the mind of God. The counsel you describe is ungodly. No woman has biblical authority to urge a young woman to live with a man outside marriage, to bear children outside the covenant, or to make her feel worthless. Such counsel is not love; it is darkness. Marriage is a lifelong covenant of one man and one woman, and what is outside that is not a foundation but a snare.

Yet remember, the battle is not yours to wage with carnal weapons. You have prayed that the Lord would expose this woman’s motives and frustrate her plans. That is a lawful prayer. But do not let your own spirit be eaten by bitterness. The Lord can humble her; leave her judgment to Him. Pray for her if you can, for she too is in bondage, though she does not know it.

Your daughter is in bondage. You have named it plainly: she is exhausted, forgetful, living in chaos, exploited and isolated. This is not freedom, whatever the world calls it. It is carnal bondage: bondage under sin, bondage under the flesh, bondage under the fear of man. The man himself is not the entire cause; the sin is the cause. She has taken upon herself responsibilities that do not belong to an unmarried woman in such a household, and the enemy uses them to wear her down.

The Scripture speaks plainly: “Come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing.” Peter found it wise to go out from the company of those who tempted him. Your daughter cannot continue to confide in this young man’s mother, cannot continue to defend the relationship, and cannot expect peace while she remains in a place that God has not blessed. That is not cruelty; it is the way of restoration.

Yet restoration is possible. The Lord Jesus restored Peter after his fall with a look. The crowing of the cock alone did not awaken him; it was the look from Christ that severed him from the crowd and brought him to repentance. Pray for such a look upon your daughter. No amount of reasoning from you may break the spell; one glance from the Crucified is enough. Pray also that the Holy Spirit would no longer be to her a Spirit of bondage to fear, but the Spirit of adoption by which she cries, Abba, Father.

Do not despair because this has gone on for years. The Lord may allow a soul to be in bondage for a time; there are reasons why the Spirit of God is, to some, a spirit of bondage for a long time. But He does not leave His own there forever. The Hebrew might be in bondage six years, yet in the seventh he went free. The Lord’s clock is not yours, but it is never slow. Let your own heart be kept in quiet faith. Be a daughter of Sarah: not fretful, not alarmed at evil tidings, but with your heart fixed, trusting in the Lord. Take everything, even this stroke, as a token of love from the hand that has engraved you upon His palms.

You have pleaded the precious blood and declared that no weapon formed against you shall prosper. Hold to that, not as a charm but as a covenant promise. The blood of Christ has set prisoners free; through the blood of the covenant the captives of sin are delivered from the pit wherein there is no water. That freedom is freedom indeed. No earthly power can give it, and no earthly power can take it away.

Use all lawful wisdom regarding her employment and associations, but do not descend to strife. Ask the Lord to shut doors that ought to be shut, and to open the door of her heart to sound counsel. That woman has no authority, but she has influence; pray that the Lord would make that influence to be broken. Do not trust in your own declaration, but in the name of Jesus.

For the desire of a godly spouse, let that be postponed until she is first restored to her God and separated from this unholy union. God does not bless one sin while we ask for another mercy; He first calls His own out of their transgressions, then He grants the desire of their hearts. Let your chief prayer be that she would hunger for righteousness and say with the Psalmist, “Restore unto me the joy of thy salvation.” She must first be returned to safety before she is given a husband.

May the Lord break the hold of this destructive influence; may He open her eyes to see this man for what he is, not a husband, not a provider, not a spiritual leader, but a stumbling block. May she no longer defend this living arrangement, no longer bear burdens that belong to a wife without the covenant of marriage. May she see her worth in Christ alone, and not in the approval of those who make her feel worthless. May she return to her family, her church, and her God, with no regrets. And may the woman who has spoken wickedly be brought to repentance before she reaps the fruit of her counsel. I will set this before the Lord with you. Put your trust in Him, and let your heart be at peace.

This sorrow you have brought before the Lord is heavy, and you are right to call the counsel ungodly. A mother who urges a young woman to live with her son outside marriage, to have children without a covenant, and to despise her own family is not speaking from God, no matter how warm her words may sound. She has no biblical authority to overturn the authority God gave you as a parent. Yet do not let the danger of her influence make you imitate her spirit. You may expose her deeds, but do not become consumed with her motives. The Lord knows what is hidden, and He will judge.

Your daughter is in a more serious place than you think. The outward trouble is the man and his mother, but the inward trouble is that she has accepted a lie as freedom. Our Lord says, “Everyone who commits sin is a slave to sin.” This is the worst bondage, worse than poverty or homelessness. A woman can leave this man and still be enslaved by the desire to be approved, the fear of being alone, or the habit of defending what she knows is wrong. Pray therefore not only for the relationship to end, but for her to know the truth. And the truth is not a set of rules or even your counsel; the truth is a Person. “You will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.” When Christ becomes more real to her than the opinions of this man and his mother, she will begin to walk out.

You have named what the relationship produces: exhaustion, financial hardship, chaos, isolation from those who love her. These are not accidents. They are the fruit of a house built outside God's order. But do not put your hope in the young man's father moving him away. That would remove only one branch; the root may remain. Ask the Holy Spirit to convict your daughter through the very weariness she is feeling. God often uses the pain of sin to turn a prodigal home. So do not rush to rescue her from every consequence. Love her, keep the door open, but do not support what God does not bless. That is not cruelty; it is truth.

The mother's boast that she is happy your daughter has left the church should grieve you, but it should also reveal her heart. Do not answer her with curses or endless accusation. “By your words you will be condemned,” and that truth applies to us as well. Pray for her conversion, for that would be the surest end of her harm. If she repents, your daughter loses a false counselor. If she does not, God is not mocked, and her plans will come to nothing in His time. Keep your own tongue free of malice, even when you must warn others to protect your daughter.

You are mourning. That is not weakness. Blessed are those who mourn, for God's comfort is greater than the sorrows that fall like snow. Let your tears drive you to the altar, to the holy table where Christ's body was broken for sinners. Bring your daughter there in prayer, week after week. Do not cease. But when she returns, receive her as the father received the prodigal, not with a list of her failures first. Let the first word be mercy, and let discipline follow in love.

May the Lord open her eyes to see that this man is not a husband, not a provider, not a spiritual leader, but a stumbling block. May she hunger again for righteousness and for the safety of her own family and church. May God give you patience to wait for her deliverance, and courage to speak truth without bitterness. I will pray with you that no weapon formed against your household will prosper, but more than that, I will pray that your daughter falls at the feet of Jesus and finds her worth in Him alone. For until she does, no removal of circumstances will give lasting peace.

Your prayer for your daughter reflects a deep and right concern, and it is heard. You are asking God to protect what He calls holy and to restore what has been worn down by a relationship and counsel that stand against His Word.

Scripture gives a clear picture of how influence works. Blessed is the man who does not walk in the counsel of the ungodly, nor stand in the way of sinners, nor sit in the seat of the scornful, but delights in the law of the Lord. There is a progression there. First we listen to ungodly counsel, then we linger with it, then we settle into it. The advice this woman is giving your daughter to live together outside of marriage and to have children outside of the covenant of marriage is exactly that kind of counsel. It is not wisdom, and it cannot lead to blessing. The exhaustion, financial strain, confusion and isolation you describe are the natural fruit of walking on a path God has not ordained. Sex and living together belong only within the lifelong covenant of marriage between one man and one woman, and any voice that encourages otherwise is contradicting God, no matter how kindly it speaks.

You are right to see that this woman has no biblical authority to direct your daughter, and that her influence has been divisive. Scripture shows how powerful an ungodly parental influence can be. A mother who turns her heart from the Lord can lead her own children and others into deep moral and spiritual harm, and that pattern has repeated through history. When a young woman leaves the safety of her family and church community to seek companionship and guidance among those who do not fear God, as Dinah did when she went out to see the daughters of the land, she becomes vulnerable to hurt and deception. Your daughter was raised in the ways of the Lord, she is loved and supported and not without a home, and she does not need the approval of someone who looks down on her and makes her feel worthless. Her worth is not given by this woman or by this young man. It is given by God, who sees the inner heart and whose love restores dignity.

God knows how to deliver the righteous even when they are vexed and worn down by the manner of life around them, as He delivered Lot. He also hears the cry, Judge me, O God, and plead my cause against ungodly influences, deliver me from the deceitful and unjust. You can ask Him with confidence to plead your cause and your daughter's cause, to expose motives that are rooted in pride and jealousy and manipulation, and to frustrate every plan meant to divide and isolate your family. He is the God of your strength when you feel weak to help her yourself.

Pray that the Holy Spirit will do what argument cannot do. Your children face pressures that mere good advice cannot overcome. They need the power of the Holy Spirit within, and they need the steady witness of a family that stays faithful and keeps the door open. Continue to be that strong spiritual example, not in anger but in truth and love. Pray that God will open your daughter's eyes to see this young man as he is, not as a husband, provider or spiritual leader, for he has shown himself to be lazy and dishonest, exploiting her finances and isolating her, but as a stumbling block to her walk with Christ. Pray that she will have the courage to stop defending the living arrangement, to stop carrying responsibilities that are not hers to bear, and to walk away with no regrets. That would include the young man returning to his own father's house alone, as you have prayed, so that both can face reality apart from one another.

It is painful that this woman rejoices that your daughter is following her lead and stepping away from church, and that she is now pressing into your daughter's workplace. That confirms the divisive nature of her influence. It is right to pray that your daughter will stop confiding in her and seeking guidance from her, and that she will hunger again for righteousness and return to the safety and wisdom of family and the church community where she is truly known and loved.

I join you in pleading the blood of Jesus over you and your children and in claiming the promise that no weapon formed against you shall prosper. Nothing is impossible for the Lord. Pray for your daughter's full restoration, that she would put her faith and trust in Christ alone for salvation and for her identity, that she would see her worth in Him and be renewed in peace and clarity. And as you pray for a future, pray not for God to bless what He calls sin, but for Him to bring her out of it, to heal her, and in His time and will to provide a godly spouse within His design for marriage if that is His plan for her. He is able to break this hold, to remove every voice that contradicts His Word, and to lead her back to wholeness.
