Heavenly Father, I pray Your hedge of protection around my son ###, deliver him from every form of abuse, whether physical, emotional, or spiritual. Expose the deeds of darkness and bring them to light. Surround him with Your angels and fill him with Your peace and strength, in Jesus name Amen

We stand in agreement with this prayer for protection over your son, lifting him up before the throne of grace. Heavenly Father, we ask that You indeed place a hedge of protection around him, shielding him from all forms of abuse, physical, emotional, and spiritual. Your Word declares in Psalm 91:11-12, "For he will put his angels in charge of you, to guard you in all your ways. They will bear you up in their hands, so that you won’t dash your foot against a stone." We claim this promise over his life, trusting that Your angels are encamped around him, guarding him in all his ways.

Lord, we also pray that You expose every deed of darkness that seeks to harm him. Ephesians 5:11 reminds us, "Have no fellowship with the unfruitful deeds of darkness, but rather even reprove them." We ask that You bring hidden things to light, that justice and truth would prevail, and that any schemes of the enemy would be thwarted. Let Your light shine in the darkest places, revealing and dismantling every plan against him.

Father, we ask that You fill him with Your peace and strength. In moments of fear or uncertainty, may he feel Your presence surrounding him like a fortress. Isaiah 41:10 assures us, "Don’t you be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness." Let him walk in the confidence of Your love and protection, knowing that You are his refuge and strength.

We also lift up his spiritual well-being, praying that he would grow in his relationship with You. May he seek Your face daily, finding comfort and direction in Your Word. Proverbs 3:5-6 says, "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will direct your paths." Let his heart be steadfast in You, and may he experience the fullness of Your peace that surpasses all understanding.

In the mighty name of Jesus, we rebuke every spirit of fear, oppression, and abuse that may be targeting him. We declare that no weapon formed against him shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against him in judgment shall be condemned (Isaiah 54:17). We stand on the authority of Jesus’ name, believing that Your protection is unshakable and Your love is unwavering.

We pray all these things with faith, trusting that You hear us and will answer according to Your perfect will. Amen.

When a child is facing harm that is physical, emotional, or spiritual it can leave him feeling powerless and can wound his sense of dignity and worth. It makes sense you are asking for a hedge of protection and for anything hidden to be brought into the light. We are praying with you for that protection, for clarity, and for steady, safe people around him who will care for him well.

If you are seeing signs that he is not safe right now, it can help to stay close, keep listening to him in a calm and steady way, and bring another trusted, wise person into the situation with you, a pastor, counselor, or other appropriate professional who can help you think through next steps and how best to protect him. You do not have to carry this concern alone.

Father, we lift ### to You and ask for Your protection over him in every way. Surround him with Your presence, keep him from harm, and bring what is hidden into the light so it can be addressed. Give him peace and strength for each day, and give his parent wisdom, discernment, and support as they love and advocate for him. Lead them to the right help and keep them close to You. We join you in bringing your son before the throne of grace, and we lift up your cry with you to our heavenly Father who looks not with icy eyes upon His children but with compassion, as the father who ran and fell upon the neck of his returning son and kissed him much.

We pray that the Lord will set His hedge of protection about your son and keep him from all harm, whether of body or of soul. May the Lord deliver him from every form of abuse and from every work of darkness, for it is written that the angel of the Lord encamps round about them that fear Him and delivers them. We ask that what has been done in secret may be brought into the light, as the Scripture says to have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness but rather to expose them, and that truth and justice may prevail.

We pray that the Lord would command His holy angels concerning him and keep him in all his ways, and that He would fill his heart with that peace which passes all understanding and with quiet strength in his inner man. May he know that there is a fountain opened for sin and for uncleanness, and that the blood of Jesus Christ His Son cleanses us from all sin, and may he rest in the wounds of his dear Redeemer and trust in them, for there is our cure and our refuge.

Take comfort that the great Father has loved His people with an everlasting love and gave His Son for their ransom, and He will not turn away the prayer that is offered in the name of Jesus. We will continue to bear your son up before the Lord, asking that the Lord will guard him, uphold him, and cause him to dwell under the shadow of the Almighty in safety and peace, in Jesus name, Amen.

We join you in lifting your son before the Heavenly Father and we thank you for bringing this burden to prayer.

We ask God in the name of Jesus Christ alone, our only Savior and ransom, to place His hedge of protection around your son. We pray that the Lord will deliver him from every form of abuse, whether physical, emotional, or spiritual, and that He will supply what is good for him as only Christ can, who came not to be served but to serve and to give His life for many. We ask that God would expose every deed of darkness and bring it to light, for light makes all things manifest, and that He would surround your son with His holy angels and keep him in safety.

We also pray that God will fill your son with His peace that passes understanding and with strength for each day, and that He will fill you with wisdom and courage as you love and protect him. Scripture reminds us that right faith is joined to a holy life, and that our greatest protection is found in walking close to Christ, so we pray that your son will be rooted in Christ, clothed in Him, and filled with the Spirit of adoption as a son of God.

We continue to stand with you in prayer, trusting that the Lord sees, that He hears, and that He is able to guard and to comfort. May the Lord grant you both His presence, His justice, and His peace, and may He be glorified in how He answers, in Jesus name, Amen.

We join you in lifting your son before the Heavenly Father and thank you for bringing this burden to prayer.

The Father knows the love a parent has for a son, because He has shown that same love in giving His own Son. From the human side a child was born of the seed of David, and from the divine side a Son was given. At the baptism the Father spoke from heaven that Jesus is His beloved Son in whom He is well pleased, and by the resurrection He was declared to be the Son of God with power. God promised David that He would be a Father to that coming Son, and Isaiah foretold that unto us a child is born and unto us a Son is given. God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, and that gift is the proof of how deeply He understands your love for your son and how fully He is able to guard him.

Through faith in Jesus, we are brought into the family of God not as the only begotten Son, for there is only one, but as adopted sons and heirs through Christ. God sent His Son, born of a woman and under the law, so that we who were under the law might receive adoption. He who has the Son has life, and the blood of Jesus His Son continually cleanses from all sin. Your son can have that same place of belonging and safety as he trusts in Jesus and abides in the Son and in the Father, continuing in what he has heard from the beginning and walking in truth and love and keeping His commandments.

Scripture also teaches that we are to keep ourselves in the love of God. We cannot turn from the Lord and expect His protection while walking away from Him, and the examples of Israel remind us that unbelief keeps us from the full blessing He desires to give. When we incline our ear to wisdom and hide His word in our hearts, we can walk safely and our foot will not stumble, and when we lie down we will not be afraid. That is the path of peace and strength you are asking for.

So we pray with you that the Father will place His hedge around your son and deliver him from every form of abuse, whether physical, emotional or spiritual. We ask that every deed of darkness done in secret would be exposed and brought into the light, for light overcomes darkness. We ask that the Lord would command His angels to surround him, that He would fill his heart and mind with His peace that guards beyond understanding, and that He would give him strength for each day as he walks in truth. May he know he is loved by his earthly parent and even more by his Heavenly Father, and may he find refuge and courage in Jesus Christ, the Son of the Father, in whose name we pray, Amen.
