Protection for Neice

Disciple of Prayer
My neice is getting bullied and they are threatening her life online. The girls are trying to jump her at school. The ### was informed but he hasn’t done anything yet. I am nervous for her. Her spirit and joy for school has disappeared. I am nervous for her because these kids now a days worry me, please help us with prayer until we can pull her out. Her Name is ###. Thank you!

We are deeply grieved to hear about the torment your niece is enduring. The cruelty of bullying, especially when it escalates to threats of physical harm, is a serious matter that breaks our hearts and stirs our spirits to stand in the gap for her. The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy, but we serve a God who is our refuge, strength, and ever-present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). We take authority over every spirit of fear, intimidation, and violence that is being unleashed against her, and we command it to flee in the mighty name of Jesus Christ!

First and foremost, we lift up your niece to the Lord, who is her ultimate protector. The Bible assures us that "The Lord is my light and my salvation, whom shall I fear? The Lord is the stronghold of my life, of whom shall I be afraid?" (Psalm 27:1). We pray that she would feel the nearness of God in this dark time and that His peace, which surpasses all understanding, would guard her heart and mind (Philippians 4:7). Father, surround her with Your angels, encamp them around her, and let her sense Your presence like a shield (Psalm 34:7). Give her courage to stand firm, knowing that You are with her, and that no weapon formed against her shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17).

We also pray for wisdom and boldness for you and her parents as you advocate for her. It is unacceptable that the school has not taken sufficient action to ensure her safety. We urge you to continue pressing the matter, escalating it to higher authorities if necessary, and even seeking legal counsel if the school remains negligent. The Bible instructs us, "Open your mouth for the mute, for the rights of all who are destitute. Open your mouth, judge righteously, defend the rights of the poor and needy" (Proverbs 31:8-9). This situation is not just a matter of discipline, it is a matter of her physical and emotional well-being, and those in authority must be held accountable.

We rebuke the spirit of complacency and indifference that may be present in the school administration. Let the fear of the Lord fall upon them, that they would act swiftly and decisively to protect your niece and all children under their care. We declare that God’s justice will prevail in this situation, and that those who have turned a blind eye will answer for their inaction if they do not repent and take corrective measures.

We also pray for the bullies themselves. While their actions are inexcusable, we recognize that hurt people often hurt others. We ask that You would soften their hearts, reveal Your love to them, and break any strongholds of anger, bitterness, or rebellion in their lives. Let them see the error of their ways and turn from their wickedness before it is too late (Ezekiel 33:11). We declare that no child is beyond Your reach, and we pray for their salvation and transformation.

In the meantime, we encourage you to document every threat, incident, and communication with the school. This will be crucial if further action is needed. We also suggest exploring alternative schooling options, whether through homeschooling, a different district, or a private Christian school where she can thrive in a safe and nurturing environment. Her education and well-being are far too precious to be jeopardized by those who refuse to do what is right.

Lastly, we pray for your niece’s emotional and spiritual restoration. The joy of the Lord is her strength (Nehemiah 8:10), and we ask that You would renew her spirit, restore her love for learning, and fill her with hope for the future. Let her know that she is fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14), and that her worth is not defined by the cruelty of others but by the love of her Heavenly Father.

We stand with you in prayer and declare that this trial will not break her but will instead draw her closer to God. We thank You, Lord, for Your faithfulness and for the victory that is already hers in Christ Jesus. We pray all these things in the powerful name of Jesus, the name above every name, the One who has overcome the world (John 16:33). Amen.

"Do not be afraid of them; the Lord your God himself will fight for you" (Deuteronomy 3:22). Hold fast to this promise, and trust that God is working even now to bring justice and peace for your niece.

We hear how frightening this is, and your love for your niece comes through so clearly. When threats are being made and the people who should step in haven’t acted yet, the anxiety can feel overwhelming. It makes sense that her spark for school is gone right now. She’s blessed to have you standing with her.

One concrete thing you can do right away: since online threats and plans to physically harm her are being made, please consider contacting the police directly. Schools sometimes drag their feet, but law enforcement can take threats to life seriously, especially when there’s a digital trail. Save screenshots, messages, anything you have, don’t delete them. That evidence can change everything. You might also go above the principal to the school board or superintendent if nothing has happened. Your quick action could help not only your niece but other kids those same girls may target.

Meanwhile, keep reassuring your niece that her safety matters and that adults are listening. Right now she probably feels powerless and alone. Just knowing you’re in her corner, not minimizing what’s happening, can be a steady anchor. It’s okay to let her stay home if she feels unsafe while you work on a plan, her physical and emotional well-being come first, always.

We are praying with you, and we won’t stop.

Father, we bring this precious girl before you now. You see every threat, every cruel word, every ounce of fear she’s carrying. Please shield her, physically, mentally, emotionally. Give her moments of peace in the middle of this storm, and surround her with safe people who will listen and act. Grant her family clear wisdom and relentless courage to press for the protection she needs until she can be removed from harm. Restore her joy, Lord, and let her know deep down that she is not forgotten. In Jesus’ name we ask these things, trusting you to move in ways we cannot yet see. Amen.

The trial is sharp and the danger appears very near, and a quickening of the pulse is natural when those we love are threatened. Yet it is in just such urgent hours that we learn that happiness lies more in the mind than in our circumstances, and that the man within has far more to do with his own joy or sorrow than anything outside of him has. Your anxiety, as deep as it is, cannot of itself add one shield of protection; it unfits you to watch and to pray. I have never discovered that anxiety has comforted anybody, nor brought any true help. The very fret into which we fall through trouble unfits us to meet that trouble.

Turn then at once to the place of safety. Our God is able to keep us from falling and to present us faultless before the presence of His glory with exceeding joy. That power which upholds the stars can guard your young niece from the hands of violent creatures. When the principal is slow and the threats are loud, there remains a King in whom we joy, whose arm is not shortened. He is a fixed star when all earthly lights are quenched. If other refuges fail, here is a joy for all God's people, a joy that is founded in reason, grounded and bottomed in solid realities, seeing it is a joy in an immutable Christ. You may joy in His power, for He can help. You may joy in His faithfulness, for He cannot fail.

Let this also be a season of supplication that becomes a well‑spring of joy in harvest, the joy of answered prayer. Cry mightily unto Him who hears before we call, and as you do, set before your soul the certainty that the Lord can scatter these shadows and restore the joy of your niece’s vanished school‑days. She may yet laugh again with the simple mirth of youth when this evil has been turned back. But even if much is taken, there is no joy equal to joy in God. Suppose you have nothing else but God, can you not joy in the fact that there is a God, a God who loves, who sees, who avenges His own?

Draw your dear often into the inner chamber of this quiet gladness. Tell her that the joy of the Lord is a cure for fear, quieting inward discord by the sweet accord of trust. Teach her that believers have a heritage of joy that none can steal, kept by the hand that bled to make it theirs. In a little while she will be beyond the reach of every foe. Until then, the Everlasting Arms are underneath her. Go now and plead the precious blood, and then rise to the duty of holy joy, for it is commanded, “Rejoice in the Lord alway.” Re-joice, take it up twice over, sing when the threat howls, for your King reigns, and in Him you have the quintessence of happiness.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

The terror that grips your heart for your niece is understandable, for the malice of the wicked is like a snare set in the open. Yet remember, the one who does no evil has no cause for ultimate fear. As it has been said, he who is conscious of no evil shall suffer nothing dreadful; the enemy may rage, but the righteous stand under a shield not made by hands. Your niece, being innocent in this, is not abandoned. The Lord is a stronghold for them that fear Him, and even now, unseen, He watches over her.

Do not let your own spirit be swallowed by the dread of these threats. Yes, the danger is real, and the inaction of those in authority is a heavy burden. But virtue, like a kind mother, places us in safety. While you work to remove her from harm’s way, do not let the fear of the king’s wrath, so to speak, drive you from the championship of her peace. The one who endures as seeing the Invisible One will not be put to shame. Your niece’s lost joy can be restored; the life that seems snuffed out is not beyond the call of Him who brings back even those to the grave’s door.

Pray without ceasing, but act also with the confidence that labor brings. To do nothing and tremble is to sit in a decaying house, waiting for the roof to fall. To work and pray is to inhabit the secure room. So raise your voice where it can be heard, seek protection, and in the meantime, teach her that the malice of others cannot stain her soul unless she lets it. The threats of the wicked are often God’s own goad to lead them to repentance, as with Nineveh. For her part, let her find refuge in the fear of God, which makes even a child wiser than her foes. I join my prayers to yours, that swift deliverance comes, that her spirit is revived, and that those who plot evil may be turned back, their threats remaining only threats, and never action.
