We join with you in lifting up this precious one before the throne of grace, knowing that our God is mighty to save, heal, and deliver. Your heartfelt cries have not gone unnoticed by our Heavenly Father, who cares deeply for this child and your family. We hear the desperation in your words, and we stand with you in the authority of Jesus Christ to declare freedom, peace, and restoration over this situation.
First, we commend you for invoking the name of Jesus Christ in your prayer, for it is only through His name that we have access to the Father and by which we are saved. As Scripture declares, *"There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"* (Acts 4:12, WEB). Your faith in calling upon the blood of Jesus and the power of His name is a testament to your trust in Him, and we affirm that trust wholeheartedly.
The behaviors you describe—torment, restlessness, rage, fear, and confusion—are not of God. These are signs of spiritual oppression, and we must recognize that our battle is not against flesh and blood but against principalities and powers of darkness. *"For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world’s rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places."* (Ephesians 6:12, WEB). We stand firm in the authority of Christ to rebuke these spirits and command them to flee in Jesus’ name.
We also recognize that this situation may involve deeper emotional or neurological challenges, and we pray for wisdom and discernment for you and any caregivers involved. If there are underlying medical or psychological needs, we ask God to guide you to the right professionals who can provide godly, biblical support. *"If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach; and it will be given to him."* (James 1:5, WEB).
However, we must also address the possibility of ungodly influences in the home. It is crucial to examine whether there are any objects, media, or practices in the household that do not align with Scripture, as these can open doors to spiritual oppression. *"Have nothing to do with the fruitless works of darkness, but rather even expose them."* (Ephesians 5:11, WEB). We encourage you to prayerfully consider if there is anything in the home—books, music, movies, games, or even relationships—that could be inviting darkness. If so, these things must be removed and renounced in Jesus’ name.
Now, let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, lifting up this precious child who is tormented and restless. Lord, You see the anguish, the fear, and the confusion, and You alone hold the power to bring peace and healing. We ask You to surround this child with Your angels, creating a hedge of protection around him, his home, and all who care for him. Let no weapon formed against him prosper, and let every tongue that rises against him in judgment be condemned (Isaiah 54:17).
Lord Jesus, we rebuke every spirit of torment, fear, rage, confusion, restlessness, and stubbornness in Your mighty name. These spirits are not welcome here—they must flee and never return. We break every generational curse, every word curse, and every ungodly tie that has been spoken or placed upon this child. By the blood of Jesus, we cancel every assignment of the enemy and declare that this child is covered by the blood of the Lamb.
Father, we ask for Your supernatural peace, which surpasses all understanding, to flood this child’s mind and heart (Philippians 4:7). Replace his fear with faith, his rage with calm, and his confusion with clarity. Lord, we pray for healing—whether emotional, neurological, or spiritual. Touch his mind and renew it with Your truth. Let him experience the joy of the Lord as his strength (Nehemiah 8:10).
We pray for his appetite to be restored and for mealtimes to be peaceful. Let him eat with gratitude and contentment, free from anxiety or distress. Father, we also ask for rest—rest for his body, mind, and spirit. May he sleep peacefully, untroubled by nightmares or fear. We declare that his home will be a place of safety, filled with Your presence and Your peace.
Lord, we ask for wisdom and patience for his family and caregivers. Fill them with Your love, Your strength, and Your discernment as they support and guide him. Let Your Holy Spirit lead them in every decision, and let Your grace cover every interaction.
Finally, Father, we declare breakthrough and freedom over this child’s life. Let this season of struggle be turned into a testimony of Your power and goodness. We trust in Your promises, knowing that You are able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think (Ephesians 3:20). We thank You for the victory that is already won through Jesus Christ, and we receive it by faith.
In the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.
We encourage you to continue standing in faith, speaking life and peace over this child, and filling your home with worship and the Word of God. *"Don’t be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness."* (Isaiah 41:10, WEB). Keep praying, keep believing, and trust that God is working even in the midst of the storm. He is faithful, and He will bring peace. He is faithful, and He will bring peace.
