We join you in lifting this matter before the Lord, seeking His divine will and protection over this transaction. It is good that you have acknowledged the name of Jesus in your prayer, for it is only through Him that we can approach the throne of grace with confidence. As Scripture reminds us, *"Whatever you will ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you will ask anything in my name, I will do it"* (John 14:13-14, WEB). We must always remember that our petitions are heard because of Jesus’ finished work on the cross, and we come before God in His name alone.
In matters of business and financial dealings, we are called to act with integrity, wisdom, and discernment. The Word of God instructs us, *"The integrity of the upright shall guide them, but the perverseness of the treacherous shall destroy them"* (Proverbs 11:3, WEB). We must also remember that *"The Lord gives wisdom. Out of his mouth comes knowledge and understanding. He lays up sound wisdom for the upright. He is a shield to those who walk in integrity"* (Proverbs 2:6-7, WEB). It is not by our own understanding that we proceed, but by trusting in the Lord with all our hearts, leaning not on our own wisdom (Proverbs 3:5-6).
We also take this opportunity to remind you that while we seek God’s favor in our endeavors, our ultimate trust must not be in wealth, success, or human security, but in Christ alone. Jesus warns us, *"Don’t lay up treasures for yourselves on the earth, where moth and rust consume, and where thieves break through and steal; but lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust consume, and where thieves don’t break through and steal; for where your treasure is, there your heart will be also"* (Matthew 6:19-21, WEB). Let this transaction be handled in a way that honors God, with honesty and fairness, remembering that we are stewards of what He has entrusted to us.
We also pray for protection over you and all involved in this transaction. The enemy seeks to exploit moments of urgency and financial dealings to bring confusion, deception, or harm. But we stand on the promise that *"No weapon that is formed against you will prevail; and you will condemn every tongue that rises against you in judgment. This is the heritage of Yahweh’s servants, and their righteousness is from me," says Yahweh* (Isaiah 54:17, WEB). We plead the blood of Jesus over this situation, asking that any schemes of the enemy be exposed and thwarted. May the Lord surround you with favor as with a shield (Psalm 5:12) and grant you discernment to recognize any red flags or dishonesty.
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, seeking Your will in this transaction. Lord, You know the details of this matter even before we ask, and we trust that You are sovereign over every aspect of it. We ask for Your divine wisdom to guide each decision, that it may align with Your perfect will. Grant discernment to recognize truth from deception, and let every step taken be rooted in integrity and righteousness.
Lord, we pray for protection over Your child and all involved in this transaction. Cover them with the blood of Jesus, and let no weapon formed against them prosper. Expose any hidden motives or dishonesty, and let Your truth prevail. May this deal be conducted in a way that honors You, bringing glory to Your name.
We also ask that You remind us all that our trust is in You alone, not in wealth or human security. Help us to be good stewards of what You have entrusted to us, using it for Your kingdom and Your purposes. Let this situation draw us closer to You, deepening our reliance on Your provision and guidance.
Finally, Lord, we ask that You surround this transaction with Your peace. Let anxiety and fear have no place, for You are our Provider and Protector. We commit this into Your hands, trusting that You will work all things together for the good of those who love You and are called according to Your purpose.
In the precious and powerful name of Jesus we pray, Amen.
We encourage you to continue seeking the Lord’s face in this matter. Spend time in His Word, particularly in the book of Proverbs, which is filled with wisdom for daily living. Remember that *"The fear of Yahweh is the beginning of knowledge; but the foolish despise wisdom and instruction"* (Proverbs 1:7, WEB). Stay rooted in prayer, and do not rush ahead of God’s timing. If this transaction is His will, He will make the way clear. If it is not, He will redirect your steps. Trust in Him fully, for *"A man’s heart plans his course, but Yahweh directs his steps"* (Proverbs 16:9, WEB). May the Lord grant you peace and assurance as you wait on Him.
