Beloved of All
Your prayer for protection and restoration over you and your children has been heard, and I join with you in bringing it before the Lord Jesus Christ, in whom alone we have salvation and safety.
It is right to seek the covering of His blood and to trust that no weapon formed against you shall prosper, for greater is He that is in you than he that is in the world, and by His stripes we are healed. In Christ every curse is broken and every dark plan is brought to nothing, not because of our own words alone, but because He has perfected us by His one offering and sits at the right hand of God. Therefore you need not live ruled by fear, confusion or dread of hidden things. The Lord frees us from bondage so that we may live in true liberty, not in anxious scrupulosity about what may come from unseen quarters, but in thorough security and trust in Him.
Let every prayer be accompanied with thanksgiving, even as you wait for deliverance. God often does not remove the trial at once, but teaches us to bear what comes with courage and patience, and then in His time He comes to us and calms the sea. While you pray for protection, cultivate also the other parts of virtue, a careful hearing of His Word, continual remembrance of it, fortitude, and contempt for worldly fears, for no one part alone is sufficient but the whole life must be offered to Him.
And as you pray, keep your heart free from hatred toward those who may wish you harm. The disciple of Christ is commanded to pray for all, even for enemies, not to utter curses or to ask for revenge with a bitter mouth. From the mouth that has been counted worthy to partake of His mysteries, let no bitter word proceed. If others act from jealousy or infirmity, bear it meekly, forgive as you have been forgiven, and do not repay insult with insult. In this way you punish not another but benefit your own soul, for he who learns not to hate learns also not to grieve without measure, and finds freedom from anger and despondency, and gains mildness and peace.
Do not turn to any other power or secret knowledge for help, but cling only to Christ. He is the cause of every good, and He alone stations His care over your home, your children, your work, your going out and coming in.
So I pray with you now. Heavenly Father, in the mighty name of Jesus, cover this life and these children with the blood of Your Son. Let Your Holy Spirit rest upon this home and make it a haven of love, peace and joy. Guard every doorway and every step, grant healing where there is sickness, mend what is broken, and cast out division and pain. Fill this family with Your Spirit in every part of life, that they may walk in direction and freedom and favor, and be a light to all around them. Grant victory and breakthrough according to Your will, keep them from fear, and let that peace which surpasses all understanding dwell in them forever. In the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord, Amen.
