Protection and Freedom

Faithful Servant
Jesus I asked that this young man be completely removed from my daughter's life. Let her see the spiritual attacks she is under and is bringing into her family life. Jesus I rebuke all the spiritual attacks from entering into our home, our family from this young man, his family, and negative influences. Jesus I ask that You intervene and let her know that it is not God's will for her to idolize people who are hateful, selfish, greedy, manipulating, controlling, disrespectful, spiteful, isolating, and dysfunctional people. I plead the blood of Jesus Christ over me and my family, cleansing every part of us. No weapon formed against us shall prosper. Jesus, I ask for your protection and urgent restoration of unbreakable unity with my daughter, myself, and her siblings. Jesus I ask that You block her from mimicking the young man's ungrateful behaviors. She has become dishonest, ungrateful, disrespectful toward her family, her work, and her faith. I ask that You restore the strong bond we had as a family. Jesus I ask that You stop my daughter from idolizing this young man and his family. They are selfishly taking her down a dark path. Jesus I ask that she will no longer remain in this current living environment with this young man. This relationship causes a greater risk to her faith, her self-worth, and her future. The influence of this young man, his family, and a few of her friends are corrupting her, and I pray that the Lord will open my daughter's eyes to see the truth before it is too late. Jesus I ask that You redirect everyone that is encouraging her to live this toxic lifestyle, let them see how she is losing her self-worth and the dark path she is on. Jesus I ask for Your Divine Power to convict them and let them see how disruptive it is that they enable his narcissistic behaviors. I pray that they will insist that he move back home swiftly. I ask that my daughter would *"come to herself"* and turn away from this destructive path immediately, returning to the safety of her family and the arms of her Heavenly Father swiftly. I pray for a Godly spouse for my daughter. I believe and trust nothing is impossible for You. In Jesus' name, I pray. Amen.

We join with you in lifting up this urgent cry for your daughter, standing firm on the truth of God’s Word and the power of His mighty name. Your heartbreak and concern are deeply felt, and we echo your prayers with scriptural authority, knowing that our battle is not against flesh and blood but against the spiritual forces of darkness that seek to destroy what God has ordained for good.

The Lord warns us in **2 Corinthians 6:14-15**, *"Don’t be unequally yoked with unbelievers, for what fellowship have righteousness and iniquity? Or what communion has light with darkness? What agreement has Christ with Belial? Or what portion has a believer with an unbeliever?"* Your daughter’s entanglement with this young man—and the toxic influences surrounding him—is a clear violation of this principle. The behaviors you’ve described—manipulation, disrespect, greed, and spiritual corruption—are not of God but of the enemy, who seeks to steal, kill, and destroy (John 10:10). We rebuke these spirits in the name of Jesus, commanding them to flee from your daughter’s life, mind, and heart. The Lord exposes the deeds of darkness (Ephesians 5:11), and we pray He will shine His light so brightly in this situation that your daughter cannot help but see the truth.

Your plea for her to *"come to herself"* mirrors the prodigal son’s moment of clarity in **Luke 15:17-18**, where he realized the depth of his rebellion and returned to his father. We claim this same awakening for your daughter, that the Holy Spirit would convict her heart so profoundly that she turns away from this destructive path *immediately*. The Lord is faithful to restore what the locusts have eaten (Joel 2:25), and we declare the restoration of her faith, her self-worth, and her relationship with you and her family. The bonds of love and trust that have been broken will be rebuilt stronger than before, for God specializes in redemption.

We also address the spiritual attacks you’ve described. **Ephesians 6:12** reminds us that our struggle is against *"the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places."* Therefore, we stand in the authority of Christ, pleading His blood over your home, your family, and your daughter’s mind and spirit. No weapon formed against you shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and every tongue that rises against you in judgment shall be condemned. We bind the spirits of deception, control, rebellion, and idolatry that have taken hold, and we loose the Spirit of truth, conviction, and godly sorrow that leads to repentance (2 Corinthians 7:10).

Your request for a godly spouse for your daughter aligns with God’s perfect will. **Proverbs 18:22** tells us, *"Whoever finds a wife finds a good thing, and obtains favor of Yahweh."* But this promise is rooted in godly wisdom and obedience. We pray that your daughter’s heart would be softened to seek first the Kingdom of God (Matthew 6:33) and that she would surrender her desires to the Lord, trusting Him to bring a husband who loves Christ above all else—a man of integrity, kindness, and spiritual leadership. Until then, we pray for her purity, her protection, and her preparation to be a godly wife, should that be the Lord’s plan.

We also lift up those who have enabled this toxic relationship—friends or even family members who have turned a blind eye to the destruction. May the Lord open *their* eyes to the gravity of their influence and grant them the courage to speak truth, even if it means insisting this young man leave her life entirely. **Proverbs 27:6** says, *"Faithful are the wounds of a friend; but the kisses of an enemy are deceitful."* We ask God to raise up faithful friends who will lovingly but firmly confront your daughter with the truth, even if it is painful.

Finally, we stand with you in the gap, interceding for your daughter’s complete deliverance. The Lord hears the cries of His people (Psalm 34:17), and He is moving even now. We declare that the chains of this ungodly relationship are broken, that your daughter’s heart will turn back to her family and—most importantly—to her Heavenly Father. We pray for a supernatural intervention: closed doors where they need to be closed, divine appointments with godly mentors, and a holy dissatisfaction with anything less than God’s best for her life.

**Heavenly Father, we come before You with broken yet hopeful hearts, lifting up this mother’s desperate plea for her daughter. You see the spiritual warfare raging, the deception that has taken root, and the enemy’s schemes to destroy her faith and future. But You, O Lord, are greater. You are the God who parts seas, who raises the dead, who turns hearts of stone to flesh. We ask for a mighty work in this situation—one that leaves no doubt of Your power and love.

Convict our sister’s daughter deeply, Lord. Let her see this relationship for what it is: a snare of the enemy, a path to destruction. Break the idolatrous hold this young man has over her. Expose his true nature and the darkness in his family’s influence. Let her taste the bitterness of his fruit and recoil from it. Restore her discernment, her gratitude, and her reverence for You.

We bind every lying spirit that has whispered to her that this is love, that this is her future, or that she will find fulfillment apart from You. Replace those lies with Your truth: that she is fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14), that her worth is found in Christ alone, and that Your plans for her are for good and not for evil (Jeremiah 29:11).

Father, we ask for divine disruption. If she is living with this young man, make the environment unbearable. Let conviction fall on those around her to insist he leave. Provide a way of escape (1 Corinthians 10:13) and give her the strength to take it. Surround her with Your angels, encamping around her (Psalm 34:7), and block every attempt of the enemy to keep her in bondage.

Restores the joy of her salvation, Lord. Let her remember the love of her family and the safety of Your presence. Draw her back to You with cords of lovingkindness (Hosea 11:4). And as she returns, heal the wounds in her heart and in her family. Unite them in love, in faith, and in purpose.

We also pray for the young man and his family. Though they have been instruments of harm, we ask that You would extend mercy if they would repent. Convict them of their sins and lead them to the foot of the cross. But if they refuse, we ask that You remove their influence from our sister’s daughter completely.

Lastly, Father, we thank You for the godly spouse You have prepared for her—if it is Your will. Prepare her now to be a woman of virtue, of prayer, and of strength. Let her wait on You, trusting in Your timing.

We declare victory in this situation, not by might nor by power, but by Your Spirit (Zechariah 4:6). Let Your will be done swiftly and completely. We ask all this in the mighty, matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

To the mother who poured out this prayer: *stand firm*. **Ephesians 6:13** tells us to *"put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand."* You are not powerless. Continue to pray without ceasing (1 Thessalonians 5:17), to speak life over your daughter, and to trust that the Lord is working even when you cannot see it. Reject fear, for *"God didn’t give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control"* (2 Timothy 1:7). Keep declaring His promises over her life, and do not waver in faith.

If your daughter is a believer, remind her gently but firmly of **1 Corinthians 7:39**, which says a widow (or single woman) *"is free to be married to whom she desires, only in the Lord."* Any relationship outside of Christ’s lordship is outside of God’s blessing. If she is not yet saved, pray for her salvation above all else—for nothing else will matter if she does not know Jesus.

We are with you in this fight, and we believe the Lord will bring beauty from these ashes (Isaiah 61:3). Keep trusting, keep praying, and keep pointing your daughter to the cross. The God who raised Christ from the dead is more than able to redeem this situation.

We stand with you, dear sister, in this battle for your daughter's heart and future. We echo your prayers, claiming God's promises over her life. We ask the Lord to expose the truth about this young man and his family, making it impossible for her to continue to idolize them. We pray that she would see the darkness in their influence and turn away from it immediately (Ephesians 5:11).
