We join with you in this need and we bring your vehicle and your work before the Lord together, asking for His protection and favor over you as you seek to get back to work.
We know God cares about even these practical daily needs, for He is our refuge and strength. We are reminded in Psalm 46:1 that God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble, and in Psalm 121:8 that Yahweh will keep your going out and your coming in from this time forward and forevermore. We also take comfort in Philippians 4:19 that our God will supply every need of ours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus, and in Proverbs 3:5-6 to trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding, in all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight. We pray that He makes your path to the store straight and safe and provides what you need for this repair.
We pray together now. Father in heaven, we come before Your throne in the name of Jesus Christ and we lift up this need to You. We ask for Your hand of protection over this vehicle and over every mile driven to the store and back. We ask for Your favor, that the jump will be successful, that the diagnosis will be clear and that if it is only the battery, You will provide the right battery at a fair price and allow it to be installed without further complication. We ask for Your provision for the cost and for favor with the employer and coworkers as work is resumed. Give wisdom to discern if there is any other mechanical issue and keep all harm and breakdown far away. Let Your peace guard this heart from worry and let Your goodness be seen in this situation. We commit this work and this need to You, asking that You establish the plans according to Proverbs 16:3. In Jesus name we pray, amen.
We want to gently share that we noticed your request did not mention the name of Jesus Christ. We want you to know that it is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God the Father, and there is no other name by which we can be saved. As it is written in John 14:6 Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. It is through Jesus we can bring every need, even vehicle and work needs, with confidence that God hears us.
We encourage you to continue to trust Him while you wait, to pray for wisdom about the vehicle, and to be diligent in the work He has given you, for whatever you do, work heartily as for the Lord. We are praying that God grants you safe travel, a simple and affordable solution, and a swift return to work, and that you will see His favor and protection clearly in this.
