We cast ALL our cares on You, Jesus, since You care about us," Your Sheep, Jn 10:27...

Father, we thank You AGAIN for Christ Our Good Shepherd, The Lord Jesus, John 10:11. We ask PROTECTION for them, thank You for these precious youngsters, that You care for us, even ALL OUR CHILDREN and EXTENDED FAMILY, Comforting them with Your Rod and Staff, keeping them from fear, Ps 23:1-6, Isa 40:11, Ezek 34:15, Rev 7:17. JESUS, Take care of Your little ones, comfort and feed them and us, for You have given us a Shepherd after Our Father's Heart, even Jesus, so kindly FEED THEM on wisdom and knowledge, Jer 3:15.

Give Your angels charge over my youngster, his cousins, and the family's "nieces and nephews," friends, parents, uncles, aunts and babysitters -- even all the children of those that congregate here, pray and our fellow believers in spiritual battles, Ps 91:9-16, Heb 1:14. Strengthen our children, our brothers and sisters, even shepherd the entire flock of God among us, 1 Pet 5:2, Acts 20:28. Thank You for "mothers in Israel," and dads on here, who are on guard for not only themselves, but especially for the young ones from evil and warped wolves, Acts 20:28-29, evil people and imposters, 2 Tim 3:13, even if they are "clergy" or "ministers," Strengthen and heal any hurt youth, and give them all in the faith needed for intercession long-term (some of us are believing for YOUR protection remotely for OUR little ones) with power and might through the Holy Spirit to know the dimensions of Your love, Eph 3:14-18, even NOW shed the love of God abroad in their hearts by The Holy Spirit, Rom 5:5.

Be near (The ANGEL of THE LORD CAMPS ALL AROUND those who FEAR HIM, Ps 34:7) the little ones AND bind those wicked people in evil who are in need of deliverance, binding the enemy NOW, in the AUTHORITY of JESUS, Matt 28:18, until the proper time of deliverance by just saying the Word, Matt 8:8, and draw them, us and all around us to Jesus. Especially draw those weary and heavy laden, that You might give them rest, Your yoke is easy and burden is light, so they find rest for their souls, Matt 11:28-30.

Work everything out for the furtherance of the gospel, Phil 1:12, work EVERYTHING together for good, Rom 8:28, according to the counsel of YOUR WILL, Eph 1:11. WE submit to GOD, resist the devil and it is written, "He will flee from us," James 4:7, 1 Peter 5:9, from demoniacs, Mark 16:15-17, from all, since the church YOU built on WHO YOU ARE AS THE MESSIAH will always prevail over the gates of hell, Matt 16:17-18. We pray the armor of God on this one, even now, keep their eyes from seeing, hearing or speaking evil, and their minds AND bodies to be KEPT FROM THE EVIL ONE AND EVIL PEOPLE, 2 Tim 3:13, 2 Thes 3:2, "See to it you do not cause one of these little ones to stumble for it would be better to be drowned with a millstone," Matt 10:42, Mk 9:42, Lk 17:2, "SEE TO IT YOU DO NOT DESPISE even ONE of these LITTLE ONES, for I (Jesus The Risen King) say to you their angels ALWAYS see the Face of Our Father," Matt 18:10. We join with you in this beautiful and urgent cry for our little ones and we say amen to your intercession for every child represented here, for your youngster, his cousins, nieces and nephews, friends and extended family, and for all the children of those who gather to pray with us.

We agree together that our Lord Jesus holds children in special regard and that His warning is solemn and true, It would be better for him if a millstone were hung around his neck, and he were thrown into the sea, rather than that he should cause one of these little ones to stumble, Luke 17:2, and again, See that you do not despise one of these little ones, for I tell you that in heaven their angels always see the face of my Father who is in heaven, Matt 18:10. How comforting to know that their angels always behold the Father and that He will put his angels in charge of you, to guard you in all your ways, Psalm 91:11. We take refuge in that promise and in the truth that the angel of Yahweh encamps around those who fear him, and delivers them, Psalm 34:7.

We rejoice that you are praying for these little ones to know the Holy Scriptures from their youth, for from infancy, you have known the holy Scriptures which are able to make you wise for salvation through faith, which is in Christ Jesus, 2 Tim 3:15. There is no greater protection than to be rooted in the Word and to know His love, for in this is love, not that we loved God, but that he loved us, and sent his Son as the atoning sacrifice for our sins, 1 John 4:10, and that love when shed abroad in their hearts by the Holy Spirit, Rom 5:5, enables them to love the Lord with all their heart and to love their neighbor as themselves, Mark 12:30-31.

We pray together now for them.

Father in heaven, in the mighty name of Jesus Christ our Good Shepherd, we thank You that Jesus said, I am the good shepherd. The good shepherd lays down his life for the sheep, John 10:11, and that He will stand and shepherd his flock in the strength of Yahweh, in the majesty of the name of Yahweh his God. They will live there, for then he will be great to the ends of the earth, Micah 5:4. Lord, we ask You to be their dwelling place, for he who dwells in the secret place of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty, Psalm 91:1. We ask You to give Your angels charge over each child, to keep them in all their ways, Psalm 91:11, to comfort them with Your rod and staff, Psalm 23:4, to carry them as a shepherd carries lambs in his bosom, Isa 40:11, and to feed them with wisdom and knowledge through shepherds after Your own heart, Jer 3:15. We ask that You keep their eyes and ears from evil, that You guard their minds and bodies from the evil one and from evil people, 2 Thess 3:2, from wolves who would come in among the flock, Acts 20:29, and from evil men and impostors who will proceed from bad to worse, 2 Tim 3:13. Where any young one has been hurt, we ask for Your healing and restoration, and that You would strengthen mothers and fathers to watch over them diligently.

We cast all our cares on You, because You care for us, 1 Pet 5:7, and we trust that all things work together for good for those who love God, for those who are called according to his purpose, Rom 8:28, and that You work all things according to the counsel of Your will, Eph 1:11, for the furtherance of the Good News, Phil 1:12. We submit ourselves therefore to God, we resist the devil and we stand on Your promise that he will flee from us, James 4:7, for greater is He who is in us. We clothe these children and ourselves in the armor of God, and we pray that they will be strengthened with power through Your Spirit in the inner person, Eph 3:16, to know the love of Christ which surpasses knowledge.

We thank You in advance, believing that whatever we ask in prayer, believing, we will receive, Mark 11:24, and we ask all this in the authority of Jesus, to whom all authority has been given in heaven and on earth, Matt 28:18, the One whose flock hears His voice, John 10:27, and who alone gives rest to the weary and heavy laden, Matt 11:28. We continue to stand with you for long term intercession until each little one knows You as Savior and walks securely in Your love. Amen.

Thank you for bringing the little ones before the Lord with such care and persistence. We hear your love for your own youngster and for the wider family of cousins, nieces and nephews, friends, and all the youth connected to this community, including those you are holding up in prayer from a distance.

It is a tender thing to want them to know they are loved and watched over, to know the Scriptures early, and to walk securely under the care of Jesus as their Shepherd. Your prayer for angelic protection, for wisdom, and for strength to stand against what is harmful reflects a shepherd's heart that wants to guard as well as to nurture.

We join you in entrusting each child to Him, asking Him to keep them close and to give the parents, grandparents, aunts, uncles and babysitters around them wisdom and steadiness in the everyday moments. When you feel weary carrying these prayers long term, it can help to share the burden with one or two trusted believers who will keep praying with you, so you are not holding it alone.

Father, thank You for each child named and unnamed in this prayer. We ask You to draw them to Yourself, to keep them safe in Your care, to fill their hearts with Your love and Your truth, and to give those who care for them wisdom, rest and strength. Shepherd them and keep them close to You, we pray in Jesus' name, Amen.

Your prayer for the little ones is a right and tender burden, and we join our hearts with yours before the throne of grace. Our Lord Jesus Himself has set His seal upon such intercession when He said that whoso shall cause one of these little ones to stumble it were better for him that a millstone were hanged about his neck, and that in heaven their angels do always behold the face of our Father. To pray for children is to pray in the very spirit of Christ, who is the Good Shepherd that giveth His life for the sheep.

We thank God with you for that Shepherd, and we ask with you that He would stand and feed His flock in the strength of the Lord, that He would gather the lambs with His arm and carry them in His bosom, and that He would lead those that are with young. As it is written, He shall cover thee with His feathers, and under His wings shalt thou trust. There the little bird cowers, not yet able to care for itself, and there it is happy and safe. So may our children and all the children of this congregation, with their cousins and friends and those committed to our care, find their dwelling in the secret place of the Most High and abide under the shadow of the Almighty.

You have rightly pleaded the promise, For He shall give His angels charge over thee, to keep thee in all thy ways. Remember the comfort and the caution that belongs to that word. We shall always need divine and angelic keeping, for God would not have charged His angels to keep His people in all their ways if they did not need protection in all their ways. Yet that keeping is in appointed ways, in the paths of obedience and duty, not in ways of willfulness where we run from the nest at our own bidding. While we walk in the way of the Lord, we may be sure that ministering spirits, sent forth to minister for them who shall be heirs of salvation, and the Angel of the Lord who encampeth round about them that fear Him, are given charge to bear us up in their hands.

We pray also as you have asked that from their youth these little ones may know the Holy Scriptures, which are able to make them wise unto salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus. Protection from harm is a precious mercy, but the greater mercy is protection from sin and the knowledge of Him who is love. We ask that the love of God may be shed abroad in their hearts by the Holy Ghost, that they may early learn to love the Lord with all their heart and soul and mind, and that they may be kept from the evil one and from evil men. We pray for mothers in Israel and for fathers, for aunts and uncles and those who watch over them, that God would make them faithful shepherds under the Chief Shepherd, feeding the flock not by constraint but willingly, and guarding against wolves, even when such come in sheep's clothing.

We cast all our care upon Him, for He careth for us. He shall call upon Me, and I will answer him, is His own promise, full to the brim with grace. When we cry for that which He has promised and for that which is good for our souls, He hears us for Christ's sake. We do not ask amiss for mere ease, but for that which will further the gospel and work together for good according to the counsel of His will. We submit ourselves therefore to God, we resist the devil, and we trust the promise that he will flee, for greater is Christ who hath all authority in heaven and in earth, and the gates of hell shall not prevail against His church.

May the Lord keep the eyes and ears and minds and bodies of these children from evil, heal any that have been hurt, strengthen all that are weak, and bring back any that have wandered. May He grant to you and to all who intercede for them a steadfast spirit to continue in prayer, to watch and pray, and to labor for the good of one another, bearing up the feeble lest they fall. And may He bring each little one at last to know the Shepherd's voice, to follow Him, and to see His face with joy.

We commend you and every child named before Him to that faithful keeping, trusting not in our words but in the blood of the Lamb and the merit of His death, the Just for the unjust, through whom alone is salvation. May the Lord answer according to His abundant mercy, and keep you all till the day when we shall go from the militant to the triumphant and dwell securely, for His greatness shall be unto the ends of the earth. Your earnest prayer for the little ones has been heard and we join with you in lifting them before the Lord who is our Good Shepherd.

We thank God with you for His great care, for He has shown His affection as a hen gathers her chickens under her wings, and His protection and shelter are over those who draw near to Him. We ask Him to stand and shepherd His flock in the strength of the Lord, that the children and all your extended family, the young ones, their cousins, friends, parents and those who care for them, may dwell securely under His hand.

We pray as you have asked that He will give His angels charge over them, for Jesus Himself said that their angels in heaven always see the face of the Father, and that He will make Himself their dwelling and keep them from fear, comforting them with His rod and staff and carrying them as a shepherd carries the lambs. We ask that He will keep their eyes and ears and minds from evil and guard their bodies from the evil one, and that He will bind every wicked influence that would seek to harm or mislead them.

We also exhort you as parents and guardians to continue the holy work that does not lose its reward. Instill into them the fear of God from their first youth, and He will protect them better than any father, for this will be a wall not to be broken. The age of childhood is tender and what children hear is impressed as a seal on the wax of their minds. If from the very gates of life you lead them away from iniquity and guide them to the best road, habit and nature will be fixed for the time to come. Bring them up in the nurture and admonition of the Lord, that they may know the Holy Scriptures from their youth, which are able to give them the wisdom that leads to salvation through faith in Jesus Christ.

Youth is wild and requires many governors and teachers, and after all care it is a happiness if it is restrained. Therefore feed them on wisdom and knowledge, teach them to know that God is love and to love Him in return with all their heart and soul and mind, and to love their neighbor. Pray that the love of God may be shed abroad in their hearts by the Holy Spirit and that they may grow not as children in understanding, but be babes in malice and mature in mind.

We cast all our cares upon Him because He cares for His sheep, and we trust that He who has promised that the gates of hell shall not prevail against His Church will work all things together for good and for the furtherance of the gospel. May He strengthen the mothers and fathers among you who stand guard, and heal any who have been hurt, and clothe you all with the armor of God that you may stand firm.
