"He will stand and shepherd His flock in the strength of the LORD, in the majestic Name of the LORD His God. And they will dwell securely, for then His greatness will extend to the ends of the earth," Micah 5:4, c.f., Dan 2:35, Micah 4:1, Gen 22:18-22, Matt 28:18-20, Mark 16:15-17, Acts 1:8... We cast ALL our cares on You, Jesus, since You care about us," Your Sheep, Jn 10:27...

Father, we thank You AGAIN for Christ Our Good Shepherd, The Lord Jesus, John 10:11. We ask PROTECTION for them, thank You for these precious youngsters, that You care for us, even ALL OUR CHILDREN and EXTENDED FAMILY with Comforting them with His Rod and His Staff, keeping them from fear, Ps 23:1-6, Isa 40:11, Ezek 34:15, Rev 7:17. JESUS, Take care of Your little ones, comfort and feed them and us, for You have given us a Shepherd after Our Father's Heart, even Jesus, so kindly FEED THEM on wisdom and knowledge, Jer 3:15.

Give Your angels charge over my youngster, his cousins, and the family's "nieces and nephews," friends, parents, uncles, aunts and babysitters -- even all the children of those that congregate here, pray and our fellow believers in spiritual battles, Ps 91:9-16, Heb 1:14. Strengthen our children, our brothers and sisters, even shepherd the entire flock of God among us, 1 Pet 5:2, Acts 20:28. Thank You for "mothers in Israel," and dads on here, who are on guard for not only themselves, but especially for the young ones from evil and warped wolves, Acts 20:28-29, evil people and imposters, 2 Tim 3:13, even if they are "clergy" or "ministers," Strengthen and heal any hurt youth, and give them all in the faith needed for intercession long-term (some of us are believing for YOUR protection remotely for OUR little ones) with power and might through the Holy Spirit to know the dimensions of Your love, Eph 3:14-18, even NOW shed the love of God abroad in their hearts by The Holy Spirit, Rom 5:5.

Be near (The ANGEL of THE LORD CAMPS ALL AROUND those who FEAR HIM, Ps 34:7) the little ones AND bind those wicked people in evil who are in need of deliverance, binding the enemy NOW, in the AUTHORITY of JESUS, Matt 28:18, until the proper time of deliverance by just saying the Word, Matt 8:8, and draw them, us and all around us to Jesus. Especially draw those weary and heavy laden, that You might give them rest, Your yoke is easy and burden is light, so they find rest for their souls, Matt 11:28-30.

Work everything out for the furtherance of the gospel, Phil 1:12, work EVERYTHING together for good, Rom 8:28, according to the counsel of YOUR WILL, Eph 1:11. WE submit to GOD, resist the devil and it is written, "He will flee from us," James 4:7, 1 Peter 5:9, from demoniacs, Mark 16:15-17, from all, since the church YOU built on WHO YOU ARE AS THE MESSIAH will always prevail over the gates of hell, Matt 16:17-18. We pray the armor of God on this one, even now, keep their eyes from seeing, hearing or speaking evil, and their minds AND bodies to be KEPT FROM THE EVIL ONE AND EVIL PEOPLE, 2 Tim 3:13, 2 Thes 3:2, "See to it you do not cause one of these little ones to stumble for it would be better to be drowned with a millstone," Matt 10:42, Mk 9:42, Lk 17:2, "SEE TO IT YOU DO NOT DESPISE even ONE of these LITTLE ONES, for I (Jesus The Risen King) say to you their angels ALWAYS see the Face of Our Father," Matt 18:10. We join you in lifting up our little ones before the throne of grace and we say amen to your cry for their protection, for your heart reflects the very heart of our Shepherd.

We love how you have anchored this prayer in the Word, for the Scriptures are able to make our children wise for salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus, 2 Tim 3:15, and we pray they will know the holy Scriptures from their youth and know His love, for in this is love, not that we loved God, but that he loved us and sent his Son as the atoning sacrifice for our sins, 1 John 4:10.

We agree together that Jesus is our Good Shepherd who lays down his life for the sheep, John 10:11, and that He will stand and shepherd his flock in the strength of the Lord, in the majesty of the name of the Lord his God and they will live there, for then he will be great to the ends of the earth, Micah 5:4. He tends his flock like a shepherd, He gathers the lambs in his arm and carries them in his bosom, Isa 40:11, and we take comfort that He makes us to lie down in green pastures and His rod and His staff comfort us, Psalm 23:1.

We stand on the promise that our Father does not despise even one of these little ones, for Jesus said See that you do not despise one of these little ones, for I tell you that in heaven their angels always see the face of my Father who is in heaven, Matt 18:10, and we plead the angelic protection over them, for He will put his angels in charge of you, to guard you in all your ways, Psalm 91:11, and the angel of the Lord encamps around those who fear him, and delivers them, Psalm 34:7, and are not all angels ministering spirits sent out to do service for the sake of those who will inherit salvation, Heb 1:14.

We also take seriously the warning of the Lord that it would be better for him if a millstone were hung around his neck and he were thrown into the sea, than that he should cause one of these little ones to stumble, Luke 17:2, and we ask the Lord to keep their eyes and ears from evil and to deliver them from evil people and imposters who deceive and are deceived, 2 Tim 3:13, and from the evil one himself, for we know that whoever is born of God does not sin, but he who was born of God keeps himself, and the evil one does not touch him, 1 John 5:18. We pray the Lord will guard their minds and bodies and keep them from the evil one as we submit ourselves to God, resist the devil and he will flee from us, James 4:7.

We pray together now for your youngster, his cousins, the nieces and nephews, friends, parents, uncles, aunts and babysitters, and for all the children of those who gather with us and for our fellow believers in spiritual battle. Father, we thank You for these precious lives, for children are a heritage from You. We ask that You feed them with wisdom and knowledge through shepherds after Your own heart, Jer 3:15, and that You would shed Your love abroad in their hearts through the Holy Spirit who was given to us, Rom 5:5, that they may be strengthened with power through Your Spirit and know the breadth and length and height and depth of the love of Christ, Eph 3:18. Heal any hurt youth among us, strengthen the mothers and fathers who stand guard, and shepherd the flock of God among us, 1 Pet 5:2, Acts 20:28, keeping us from savage wolves.

We cast all our cares on You, Jesus, because You care for us, 1 Pet 5:7, and we trust You to work all things together for good for those who love You, Rom 8:28, and for the furtherance of the gospel, Phil 1:12, according to the counsel of Your will, Eph 1:11. We ask that You draw the weary and heavy laden to Yourself, for You said Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest, Matt 11:28, and that You would bind the work of the enemy in the authority given to You, for all authority has been given to You in heaven and on earth, Matt 28:18, and prevail through Your church against the gates of hell, Matt 16:18.

We thank You in advance, believing that whatever we ask in prayer, believing, we will receive, Mark 11:24, and we ask all these things in the mighty and saving name of Jesus Christ, our Shepherd and King, amen.

We were moved by your prayer for the children in your family and church family. The way you name your youngster, cousins, nieces and nephews, friends, parents and babysitters shows how deeply you love them and want them safe and rooted in the Lord. We join you in that love.

It is good to place them again in the hands of Jesus, the shepherd who knows each one by name. Carrying them in prayer, even from a distance, is real care, and God hears that intercession. We hear too how you are asking not only for protection from harm but for them to grow in knowing God and knowing they are loved.

One steady way to keep this going is to keep a simple pattern at home and together as extended family, a brief prayer for them by name each day, reading a little of Scripture with them when you can, and letting them hear you talk to God in everyday moments. That quiet consistency helps them know they are seen and loved, and it strengthens you as you wait on the Lord.

Father, we thank you for these children and for the family and friends who watch over them. We ask you to keep them close, guard their hearts and bodies, fill them with your peace and your love, and give wisdom and strength to every parent, aunt, uncle and caregiver. Draw each one nearer to Jesus and keep them in your care today and in the days ahead. In Jesus' name, amen.

Your prayer for the little ones has been heard and it is a right and holy burden to bring before the Lord. Our Saviour has said that whoso shall cause one of these little ones to stumble it were better for him that a millstone were hanged about his neck, and that in heaven their angels do always behold the face of our Father. What a comfort is this, that the Good Shepherd who laid down His life for the sheep now stands and shepherds His flock in the strength of the Lord.

You do well to plead the promises of Psalm 91, that He shall give His angels charge over His people to keep them in all their ways. Remember that this keeping is promised to those who walk in appointed ways, not in ways of willfulness or presumption. We are to keep in the path of obedience and duty, and there we may expect both divine and angelic keeping, for God would not have charged His angels to keep His people in all their ways if they did not need protection in all their ways. Abide in the way of the Lord, teach the children His truth, and trust Him to guard them.

You also pray according to that precious word, I will pour my Spirit upon thy seed. This is the great need of our children. They need not only our care and our instruction, but the Spirit of God. From their youth they must know the Holy Scriptures which are able to make them wise unto salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus. Let the Scriptures be in your house daily. As I have often urged, let a good Scriptural catechism be used, let Christ be set before them as the cleansing blood and the only way of salvation, for there is no other name under heaven whereby we must be saved.

Therefore cast your burden upon the Lord. You have cast all your cares upon Jesus because He careth for you, His sheep who hear His voice. What a mercy that we may trace every burden back to God and then cast it upon Him in prayer. He is our Shepherd, He carrieth the lambs in His bosom, He feeds His flock, and with His rod and staff He comforts and keeps them from fear.

Let us pray together. O Lord our God, our Good Shepherd, we thank Thee for Jesus Christ Thy Son. We thank Thee for these little ones, for our children and our children's children, for the whole flock of God among us. Pour Thy Spirit upon our seed and upon our offspring as water upon dry ground. Keep them from the evil one and from evil men, from the wolves who would mislead them. Give Thy angels charge over them, let the angel of the Lord encamp round about them that fear Thee. Keep their eyes from seeing evil and their minds from loving it, and shed abroad Thy love in their hearts by the Holy Ghost. Draw the weary and heavy laden to Christ, that they may find rest for their souls, and work all things together for good according to the counsel of Thy will and for the furtherance of the gospel. We submit ourselves to Thee, we resist the devil in the authority of Jesus, and we look to Thee to sustain us. In the name of Jesus our Shepherd and King we ask it, Amen.
