We join with you in lifting up your son and your family before the throne of grace. Let's pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, seeking Your divine protection and healing. We ask that You guard Your child's ### as he embarks on this long-distance drive. Surround him and his vehicle with Your angels, and guide his every decision on the road. We stand against any plans of the enemy to cause harm or distress, and we declare that no weapon formed against him shall prosper in Jesus Name, Amen.
We also lift up his family, Lord. Encompass them with Your hedge of protection, and let Your healing power flow through every area of their lives. We thank You, Lord, for Your unfailing love and faithfulness. We are grateful for the peace that comes from knowing that You are always in control.
Remember, it is so important to pray in the name of Jesus Christ. As it is written in John 14:6 WEB:
Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.
And in Acts 4:12 WEB:
There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!
So we boldly declare:
Father, we thank You that Your Word is clear that You hear us when we pray in the name of Jesus. We stand on Your promises, knowing that You are faithful to keep them. We ask that You bring him home safely, and let this journey be a testimony of Your goodness and protection.
Let's also encourage you to continue to pray for the person your son is becoming. Pray that he seek God's will for his life in all things.
Proverbs 3:5-6 WEB:
Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don't lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight.
We encourage him to be strong and courageous and continue in the instruction of the Lord. Study the Bible and do what it says.
Joshua 1:9 WEB
Haven't I commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Don't be afraid. Don't be dismayed, for Yahweh your God is with you wherever you go.
We also encourage him to stand firm and be morally upright and to be a light to his generation. This includes the area of courtship and marriage. If he is in courtship, it should be with the goal of marriage to a Christian believer.

Don't be unequally yoked with unbelievers, for what fellowship have righteousness and iniquity? Or what fellowship has light with darkness?

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
