Father, wars are horrible, the sheer amount of those killed and wounded is staggering. We ask for a speedy and humane ending of this conflict. Thank You for "for ALL in Authority," PRES, VPs, SECs, SCOTUS, House Reps, Senators, GENERALS, -- We offer "prayers, petitions, thanksgivings and intercession" before the Throne of Grace on their behalf, so "that we may live peaceful lives in godliness and dignity, which is good and acceptable in Your sight," (in line with the furtherance of the administration of the Gospel), "for You desire all people to be saved and come to the knowledge of the truth," 1 Tim 2:1-4. With thanksgiving we are lifting these burdens to YOU asking YOU to restrain the evil one over Several Unruly Countries and bad actors at present, asking You intercept evil plans, sovereignly, as Elisha heard the king of Syria and related it to Israel, in 2 Kings 6:12, and how David knew evil had been intended against him by Saul, 1 Sam 20:3-9, 1 Sam 27-42. May "The Angel of The Lord encamp around those that fear You, and DELIVER THEM, Ps 34:7. Bind the spirits of retaliation over these countries, Dan 10:12-13, 14. Let our prayers strengthen holy angels to back the evil ones off their leaders and strategists, even using praise and worship, 1 Sam 16:23, Ps 149, Ps 149, Ps 150, et cetera, "From the rising of the sun unto the going down of the same the NAME of The LORD shall be praised," Ps 113:3. Send them into confusion, Ex 23:7, Deut 7:23. Lead us, our country, our troops and OUR LEADERS not into temptation, but rather deliver them ALL from evil, Mt 6:13, for we are not ignorant of the devil's schemes, 2 Cor 2:11, a murderer from the beginning and a liar by nature, Jn 8:44. Thank You again and again, and even in advance (because You are trustworthy and hear prayer, James 5:16), in JESUS' NAME.

We join with you in lifting this heavy burden before the throne of grace and we agree with you that wars are horrible and the sheer cost in lives lost and wounded is staggering to contemplate. The numbers you have laid out represent not statistics but souls made in the image of God, families shattered, and nations groaning, and we grieve over every life lost in the Russia Ukraine war and in the Middle East conflict and we ask our Heavenly Father for mercy, restraint, and a speedy and humane ending to these conflicts where His perfect will allows.

We stand with you in obedience to 1 Tim 2:1-2 which says I exhort therefore, first of all, that petitions, prayers, intercessions, and givings of thanks, be made for all men for kings and all who are in high places that we may lead a tranquil and quiet life in all godliness and reverence. We take seriously this call to pray for all in authority, for the President, Vice Presidents, Secretaries, Supreme Court justices, House Representatives, Senators, Joint Chiefs, generals, corporals, sergeants, and all troops, and for leaders in every nation. We pray that God would grant them wisdom that is from above, that is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, reasonable, full of mercy and good fruits, as described in James 3:17, and that He would guard their hearts and minds and turn them as He wills, for Proverbs 21:1 reminds us The king's heart is in Yahweh's hand like the watercourses He turns it wherever he desires.

We also pray as you have for the preservation of free speech, a free press, good government, open economies, and above all the open proclamation of the Gospel, because this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Savior who desires all people to be saved and come to full knowledge of the truth, 1 Tim 2:3-4. We pray that the Lord would protect the legal and practical freedom to preach the Gospel in every land, that the Great Commission of Matt 28:19-20 would advance, Go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I commanded you. Behold, I am with you always, even to the end of the age. Without peace and order, the Gospel is hindered, and so we pray for peace when and where possible for the sake of godliness, dignity, and the salvation of souls.

We agree with you in praying for protection from the spirits of darkness and for the ministry of holy angels. Scripture teaches us that our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world's rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places, Eph 6:12. We are not ignorant of his schemes, 2 Cor 2:11, for the devil was a murderer from the beginning and a liar by nature, John 8:44. Yet we take comfort that The angel of Yahweh encamps around those who fear him, and delivers them, Psalm 34:7, and that He will put his angels in charge of you, to guard you in all your ways, Psalm 91:11, for Are not they all serving spirits, sent out to do service for the sake of those who will inherit salvation, Heb 1:14. We ask the Father to command His angels to encamp around our troops, our generals, our ships and their captains and crews, and all who fear Him, and to deliver them from evil, as we pray Bring us not into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one, Matt 6:13.

We pray as you have that God would sovereignly intercept evil plans and bring confusion upon the counsels of wickedness, as He did when Elisha heard the plans of the king of Syria and warned Israel, 2 Kings 6:12, and as He sent confusion among enemies in the wilderness, for the Lord promises I will send my terror before you, and will confuse all the people to whom you come, Ex 23:27, and Yahweh will cause confusion among them, Deut 7:23. We ask Him to bind the spirits of retaliation and retaliation and to let praise and worship strengthen the work of righteousness, remembering how music drove the distressing spirit from Saul, 1 Sam 16:23, and that From the rising of the sun to the going down of the same Yahweh's name is to be praised, Psalm 113:3.

Father, we come before You together in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, for it is only through Him that we have access to Your throne and there is no other name by which we can be saved. We thank You that You hear the insistent prayer of the righteous and that it is powerfully effective, James 5:16. We ask for Your mercy over the wounded and the bereaved in Russia, Ukraine, Gaza, Israel, Iran, and America, comfort those who mourn, heal the brokenhearted, and have mercy on the more than a million wounded and the hundreds of thousands killed. Restrain the evil one over unruly nations and bad actors at present, expose lies, frustrate terrorism and oppression, and especially protect those who are persecuted for righteousness sake and those civilians caught in the crossfire, including those killed by their own governments. Grant wisdom to commanders and strategists to act with justice, restraint, and courage, and grant to our nation and to all nations leaders who will love truth, hate covetousness, and govern for peace.

We ask You to let the Gospel have free course and be glorified, to save and guide all in authority, to grant repentance and faith in Jesus Christ to many, even among our enemies, for You desire all to be saved. Let Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven and let Your name be praised from the rising of the sun to its going down. We thank You in advance because You are trustworthy and You hear prayer, and we ask all these things in the name of Jesus our Lord and Savior, amen.

Father, we lift to You the leaders, generals, troops and all in authority that have been named, and the many families affected by war. Grant wisdom and protection, restrain evil, comfort those who mourn and bring healing to the wounded. We ask for peace where it is possible and for Your good news to go forward openly. Your earnest intercession for those in authority and for peace amid such grievous bloodshed has been received with solemn gratitude, and we join our prayers with yours before the throne of grace.

Wars are indeed horrible, and the numbers you set forth, the hundreds of thousands killed and wounded in Ukraine and Russia, and the many thousands more in Gaza, Israel, Iran and beyond, declare the terrible wages of sin and the misery which follows when the passions of men are let loose. Our hearts are burdened as yours is, and we do well to obey the apostolic exhortation that prayers, petitions, thanksgivings and intercessions be made for all men, for kings and for all that are in authority, that we may live peaceful lives in godliness and dignity, which is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Saviour, who desires all people to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth, as written in 1 Timothy 2:1-4. We also remember the charge of our Lord to go and proclaim the gospel to all nations, according to Matthew 28:19-20, and for this cause we pray that order and peace may be granted where the Lord wills, that the free course of the gospel be not hindered.

You have asked for wisdom and protection for presidents, vice presidents, secretaries, judges, representatives, senators, generals, corporals, sergeants, troops, pastors and all in authority. This is a right and needful prayer. Wisdom is man's true compass across the trackless waste of life, and where shall it be found but with God. The price of wisdom is above rubies, and it is not found in the counsel of the worldly wise, but is given from above to those who ask in faith. We therefore pray that the Lord, who is the God of all wisdom, would grant to those who bear responsibility in these dark days a spirit of wisdom, restraint and sound judgment, that evil plans may be intercepted and brought to confusion, as He did when Elisha heard the counsel of the king of Syria, and that the angel of the Lord may encamp around those who fear Him and deliver them, according to Psalm 34:7. We pray that the Lord would restrain the evil one and the spirits of darkness, for we wrestle not against flesh and blood only, but against the forces of this world's darkness, and we are not ignorant of the devil's schemes, who is a murderer from the beginning.

Yet we must remember, as we pray for peace, what true peace is. There is a peace which is a mere lull of stupefaction, when conscience is made to lie still and men cry peace, peace where there is no peace. This false peace is a curse. The peace we must seek for ourselves, for our leaders and for our nation, is that which is a blessing, the peace which God the Father gives, which Jesus Christ bought with His blood, and which the Holy Spirit works in the soul. Christ has made peace by His blood, and He Himself is our peace. Peace with God is the treaty, and peace in the conscience is the publication of it. As it is written, You will keep him in perfect peace whose mind is stayed on You, because he trusts in You, Isaiah 26:3. And again, Peace I leave with you, My peace I give unto you, John 14:27. This is not man's peace, but the unruffled, calm, profound peace of the Eternal Son of God.

Therefore while we pray for the protection of troops and captains and crews, and for the preservation of good government and open doors for the gospel, we pray above all that men everywhere may be brought to peace with God through Jesus Christ. There will be no lasting peace between God and any man who despises the person, name and work of Jesus Christ, for there is no other name whereby we must be saved, and preaching peace by Jesus Christ is the only foundation that can be laid. Without such peace the future remains darkened with thick clouds.

So we continue with you in prayer, with all types of prayer as taught in Ephesians 6, that the Lord would keep those who trust in Him in perfect peace, that He would grant wisdom to all in authority, that He would restrain wickedness and cause the wrath of man to praise Him, and that He would overrule these conflicts for the furtherance of His gospel, to the saving of many souls. May the blood of Jesus whisper peace within many hearts even while sorrows surge round, and may we bear our sorrows with Him and find that perfect peace which passes all understanding, which keeps heart and mind through Jesus Christ.

We commend you and all for whom you intercede to the God of peace, praying that He will bless His people with peace, and that we may all be found at the feet of the Prince of Peace, trusting not in our prayers or tears, but in Him who is our peace, to whom be glory forever. The numbers you have laid out are staggering and heartbreaking, and they remind us how terrible war is and how precious every life made in the image of God remains. We mourn with those who mourn and we ask the Lord to have mercy on the suffering, the wounded, the bereaved and all who live under the threat of violence.

We agree with you to pray for all in authority, as the Apostle instructs in 1 Timothy 2:1-4. We offer prayers, petitions and thanksgivings for presidents, vice presidents, secretaries, judges, representatives, senators, generals, corporals, sergeants and all troops, and for pastors and all who bear responsibility. We ask God to grant them wisdom that is not of this world, but the wisdom from above which is revealed in Christ and in His cross, so that they may seek what is just and restrain what is evil, and so that we may live peaceful and quiet lives in godliness and dignity. This peace is not sought for its own sake alone, but so that the gospel of peace may be proclaimed openly and freely, as Christ commanded in Matthew 28:19-20, for God desires all people to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth through Jesus Christ alone.

We also pray for protection. We ask the Lord to encamp His angels around those who fear Him and to deliver them, to guard our service members and leaders from the schemes of the evil one, who is a murderer and liar from the beginning. We pray that God would restrain the spirits of retaliation and confusion, frustrate evil plans, and bring to nothing the counsel that leads to further bloodshed. As Scripture teaches, our struggle is not against flesh and blood alone but against the spiritual forces of darkness, and therefore we take up the armor God provides, with feet fitted with the readiness of the gospel of peace and the shield of faith, living lives worthy of that gospel so that the way for its message is made straight.

True peace, as the prophets and angels declared, is reconciliation with God through Christ, who came to make peace between heaven and earth. Where that peace is received, it bears fruit in peacemaking among people. For that reason we ask for a speedy and humane end to these conflicts where it is possible, for good government, for order, for freedom of speech and of the press rightly used, and for open doors for the preaching of Christ. We pray for wisdom for commanders and counselors, for restraint upon unruly nations and actors, for safety for crews and civilians on land and sea, and for comfort for all who have been wounded in body or spirit.

Let us pray together. Father, in the name of Jesus Christ Your Son, who alone is the way of salvation, grant wisdom to all in authority, protect those who serve, restrain evil, and let Your gospel run freely and bear fruit. Lead our leaders not into temptation but deliver them from evil, and grant to Your people courage to speak the truth in love and to live in a manner worthy of the good news of peace.
