Praying for everyone all the time with all types of prayer, Eph 6:15-20. With thanksgiving we are lifting these burdens to YOU asking YOU to restrain the evil one over Several Unruly Countries and bad actors at present, asking You intercept evil plans, sovereignly, as Elisha heard the king of Syria and related it to Israel, in 2 Kings 6:12, and how David knew evil had been intended against him by Saul, 1 Sam 20:3-9, 1 Sam 27-42. May "The Angel of The Lord encamp around those that fear You, and DELIVER THEM, Ps 34:7. Bind the spirits of retaliation over these countries, Dan 10:12-13, 14. Let our prayers strengthen holy angels to back the evil ones off their leaders and strategists, even using praise and worship, 1 Sam 16:23, Ps 149, Ps 149, Ps 150, et cetera, "From the rising of the sun unto the going down of the same the NAME of The LORD shall be praised," Ps 113:3. Send them into confusion, Ex 23:7, Deut 7:23. Lead us, our country, our troops and OUR LEADERS not into temptation, but rather deliver them ALL from evil, Mt 6:13, for we are not ignorant of the devil's schemes, 2 Cor 2:11, a murderer from the beginning and a liar by nature, Jn 8:44. Thank You again and again, and even in advance (because You are trustworthy and hear prayer, James 5:16), in JESUS' NAME.

We come before the throne of grace with hearts burdened for our leaders, troops, and nations, lifting them up in fervent prayer. First, we acknowledge that it is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to the Father, and it is by His authority that we pray. There is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). We pray that all in authority, generals, commanders, presidents, legislators, and judges, would come to know Jesus as Lord and Savior, for God desires all people to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth (1 Timothy 2:3-4).

Heavenly Father, we lift up those in military leadership, from the highest generals to the brave troops on the front lines. Grant them divine wisdom, discernment, and protection as they navigate the complexities of war and governance. Surround them with Your holy angels, as You promised in Psalm 91:11-12, "For he will put his angels in charge of you, to guard you in all your ways. They will bear you up in their hands, so that you won’t dash your foot against a stone." Shield them from the schemes of the enemy, who seeks to steal, kill, and destroy (John 10:10). We rebuke every spirit of darkness that would influence their decisions or bring harm to their lives. Let Your light expose and dispel every hidden agenda of the evil one (Ephesians 5:11).

We also pray for our civil leaders, presidents, vice presidents, cabinet members, Supreme Court justices, senators, and representatives. Father, You have established governing authorities (Romans 13:1), and we ask that You would guide them with Your truth and righteousness. Give them hearts that seek Your will, not their own ambitions or the corrupt influences of this world. May they govern with justice, integrity, and a desire to preserve the freedoms You have ordained, particularly the freedom to proclaim the Gospel openly and without hindrance (Matthew 28:19-20). Lord, restrain the hands of those who would suppress truth, silence the press, or oppress Your people. Let Your Word go forth mightily, transforming hearts and nations (Isaiah 55:11).

We stand against the spiritual forces of wickedness in high places, as Ephesians 6:12 warns us: "For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world’s rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places." We put on the full armor of God, truth, righteousness, the gospel of peace, faith, salvation, and the Word of God, and we take up the sword of the Spirit to resist the devil’s schemes (Ephesians 6:13-17). We bind every spirit of retaliation, confusion, and deception that seeks to incite violence or unrest among nations. Let Your angels encamp around those who fear You, delivering them from every evil plot (Psalm 34:7).

Father, we ask for Your sovereign intervention in the affairs of unruly nations and wicked actors. Just as You revealed the plans of the king of Syria to Elisha (2 Kings 6:12) and exposed Saul’s intentions to David (1 Samuel 20:3-9), we ask that You intercept and frustrate every evil scheme before it comes to pass. Send confusion into the camps of those who oppose Your people (Exodus 23:27, Deuteronomy 7:23). Let Your name be praised from the rising of the sun to its setting (Psalm 113:3), and may the power of Your Spirit break every chain of darkness.

We pray for the protection of our troops, ships, and all who serve in harm’s way. Grant them courage, strength, and a deep reliance on You. May they experience Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7) even in the midst of chaos. We also pray for the lands in which they serve, may Your Gospel take root and transform lives, bringing true and lasting peace. Where there is war, bring reconciliation; where there is oppression, bring justice; and where there is spiritual blindness, open eyes to see the truth of Christ (2 Corinthians 4:4).

Lord, we thank You that You hear our prayers and that the effective, fervent prayer of the righteous avails much (James 5:16). We trust in Your faithfulness and Your promise to deliver us from evil (Matthew 6:13). Strengthen us to stand firm in the faith, to pray without ceasing, and to intercede boldly for our leaders and nations. May Your kingdom come and Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven (Matthew 6:10).

In the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, we pray. Amen.

We’re grateful for the way you’re carrying this burden before the Lord, not just for our troops and leaders, but for the peace that allows the gospel to be proclaimed freely. Praying “for all in authority” is no small thing; it’s a steady, behind‑the‑scenes work that often goes unnoticed, yet it shapes nations. Your persistence in this kind of intercession encourages us to keep lifting these same petitions alongside you.

Sometimes the sheer scope of the need can feel overwhelming, but we’ve found that a practical next step is to narrow the focus for a season. You might choose one branch of government or a specific military unit and commit to pray for them by name for a week, asking others around you to join in. That targeted, consistent prayer can sharpen our sense of partnership with God. Even a small prayer group dedicated to this can become a quiet anchor in a time of global tension.

We join you in asking the Father to surround those who serve with his wisdom, shield them from evil, and open doors for the hope of Christ to reach every corner. Thank you for not growing weary in this.

Lord Jesus, we lift up generals, troops, leaders, and all who hold authority. Grant them clarity, integrity, and protection from schemes that would harm or deceive. Restrain those who plot evil, and where possible, quiet conflicts so that communities may live in safety. Above all, we ask that the good news would spread unhindered, drawing many to the truth and peace found only in you. We trust our leaders and our service members into your mighty hand, and we thank you for hearing us. In your name, Amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

It is no small thing to find a soul so burdened for those in authority, for troops, and for the peaceful spread of the Gospel; this is a mark of the Spirit’s work, for all true intercession comes from Him. When a man forgets his own needs and pleads for others, he draws near to the mind of Christ who ever lives to make intercession. Yet let us take care that our prayers are not merely long in words but deep in humility, for the Lord hears the groanings that cannot be uttered, and the Spirit Himself helps our infirmities.

I see in your request a great many citations and strong desires, and I would not quench the smoking flax. But remember that intercessory prayer is not a weapon we wield by formula or by our own zeal; it is a laying hold of God’s promises with the arguments He Himself has given. When we ask for protection, for peace, and for open doors for the Gospel, we do well, for this is according to His will that all should be saved and come to the knowledge of the truth. But let us never drift into the notion that our prayers command angels or bind spirits by our own authority. The Holy Spirit makes intercession for the saints, and He acts according to the sovereign purpose of God. We are not commanders; we are suppliants at the throne of grace.

You have rightly turned to the promises of Psalm 91 and the armour of Ephesians 6. Stand, therefore, wrestling not against flesh and blood, but against spiritual wickedness. Yet the wrestling is done on our knees, in the power of the Spirit, not with loud assertions of authority but with tears, with earnest pleading, and with the Word of God. The prayer of Jacob that wrestled with the Angel was mighty because it was steeped in humility and cast itself upon the covenant. So, too, our intercessions for generals, for presidents, and for common soldiers must be that God would lead them not into temptation, deliver them from evil, and grant them the light of the glorious Gospel.

I caution you, however, against placing too much trust in the form or length of prayer, or in the multiplication of special phrases. The true prayer is that which the Spirit Himself inspires, often with groanings that cannot be uttered, not merely with well-arranged lists of requests. And though it is right to ask for protection of ships and lands, we must never let secondary matters overshadow the one great thing: that the word of the Lord may run swiftly and be glorified, for faith comes by hearing, and how shall they believe in Him of whom they have not heard? Pray for free speech, yes, but even more, pray for boldness to preach the unsearchable riches of Christ, for the gospel itself is the power of God unto salvation to everyone that believes.

Lastly, if your prayers seem delayed, do not grow weary. The Lord will come and will not tarry. Intercessory prayer has stayed plagues, opened prison doors, and turned the hearts of kings. But it must be the prayer of faith, resting on the promises, and not the prayer of will-worship that tries to force the hand of God. Continue in prayer and supplication with one accord, watching thereunto with all perseverance. And when you pray for all men, for kings and for all that are in authority, let your life be a witness, and your lips be ready to speak the gospel, for the Lord may well say to you, “Go and answer your own prayer by telling your friends of my Son.”

When you pray for peace and safety for those in authority, take care what you seek. The Scripture says, "When they shall speak of peace and safety, then sudden destruction cometh upon them." There is a luxury that numbs the soul, an insensibility like the days of Noah, when men ate and drank amid the coming ruin. The peace you ask for must not be that slumber which invites the thief. A truer peace is this: when the diseased is cut off, when the mutinous is removed. The physician saves the body by amputating the incurable part. The general makes peace by separating those agreed in mischief. Even robbers agree together, but their concord is more grievous than any war. So pray first that the ravenous wolf within every soul be slain, that the civil war of the passions be ended, and only then can Heaven be united to earth.

You call upon angels to encamp around your leaders and troops. Noble is the prayer, but consider whom God arms. He has chosen the foolish things of the world to shame the wise, the weak to shame the strong. Not many mighty, not many noble are called, not because He despises them, but because the haughty soul is a sick man swollen with air and water, not with health. There is more hope of a fool than of a man wise in his own conceit. The lowly soul brings forbearance, freedom from anger, love. So when you pray for your commanders and captains, ask that they be delivered not merely from the enemy's sword but from the dropsy of pride. A man puffed up by his own strength is a beast rather than a man, for even a wild boar is stronger than he.

You speak much of binding spirits and wrestling against evil chiefs. This war is certain, but do not fear its noise. The preparation of the gospel of peace is a shoe for your feet: a most virtuous life. This conflict with demons puts an end to the war between us and God. If we are at war with the devil, we are at peace with God. Already the victory is won. The feet of those who preach this gospel are beautiful, not because they stand in safe markets, but because they walk through the battlefield with a calm harbor in their souls. The man who possesses true self-control is not disturbed by the blasts of insult or threat. He is like a harbor free from tempest. Pray then that your leaders and troops carry this unshakable calm, which silences the enemy more than any weapon.

Guard against making your prayers a demand that God serve our outward ease while the soul remains untended. The moral choice is our own motion, directed wherever we please. The essence of the soul is clear of accusation, but its willing on this wise is ours. The body and the sword are things of nought. If we are willing, the good things will be from ourselves. Entreat the throne of grace, yes, for free speech and open proclamation of the gospel. But know this: the hindrance is not finally the tyrant's edict or the spy's report. It is the inflated conceit that seeks a sign, the wisdom that demands a demonstration, the nobleman who will not stoop. How beautiful are the feet of those who go forth ready for departure, shod not with the hope of an earthly peace, but with the death of their own vanity.

Your plea for wisdom and protection over leaders and troops is deeply rooted in the call of Scripture. When Paul urged that prayers, intercessions, and thanksgivings be made for all in authority, he set it alongside the desire that we might live peaceful and quiet lives in godliness and dignity. That kind of life creates room for the gospel to go forward, because God wants all people to be saved and to come to a knowledge of the truth. So you are right to bring these requests before the throne of grace.

As you ask for wisdom for commanders and those who govern, remember where true wisdom begins. The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom. Human strategies and worldly philosophies may offer temporary order, but they lead ultimately to strife and come to nothing. The wisdom from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, willing to yield, full of mercy and good fruits. That is what we should long to see shaping the decisions of those in authority. Wisdom cries out in the streets, inviting everyone to come and learn of God’s ways. Length of days, honor, and paths of peace belong to those who find her.

Guard your heart against hoping only in political or military solutions. The world by its wisdom did not know God, and the cross of Christ looks foolish to those who are perishing. But to us who are being saved, it is the power of God. Lasting peace among nations can only spring from peace with God. God has offered a peace treaty through the blood of His Son. While we were still sinners, Christ died for us, and now He declares, “Come, let us reason together; though your sins be like scarlet, they shall be as white as snow.” Pray that this gospel of grace would reach the ears of leaders and soldiers, and that they would not only have protection but eternal reconciliation.

Your prayers against the spiritual forces of darkness align with our calling to stand against the schemes of the devil. We do not wrestle against flesh and blood, and our weapons are not the wisdom of words. The gospel is the power that breaks chains, and praise still confuses the enemy. The angel of the Lord encamps around those who fear Him, and your intercession joins with that heavenly watch. As Elisha’s prayers opened eyes to see the armies of heaven, so trust that God restrains evil and disrupts hidden plots in ways you cannot see.

Keep sowing these prayers in peace. The fruit of righteousness is sown in peace by those who make peace. You will not see all the answers now, but God who hears prayer is faithful. He will lead us, our leaders, and those serving in harm’s way not into temptation but deliver them from evil. His wisdom is better than rubies and more desirable than any earthly treasure. May that wisdom rest upon those you lift before Him, for Jesus’ sake.
