Thank you for your prayers for my brother ### he received his MRI tests and there is concern the growth of his prostate is pressing against his bladder and they him to give a biopsy in a month to see how aggressive the cancer tumor cells are, my brother said he rather have the biopsy done immediately. His PSA numbers have dropped from ### to ### but is still to high. Your prayers have help my family to build our faith in such a time as this.

We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts yet unwavering faith, lifting up your brother and your family during this challenging time. We are encouraged to hear that your faith has been strengthened even as you walk through this valley, for the Lord promises in Isaiah 41:10, "Don’t you be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness."

The news of the MRI results is concerning, and we understand the urgency your brother feels about moving forward with the biopsy. We stand with him in prayer, asking the Great Physician to guide the hands of the medical team and grant them wisdom in determining the best course of action. Proverbs 3:5-6 reminds us, "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will direct your paths." Let us hold fast to this promise, knowing that God’s timing and plan are perfect, even when they differ from our own desires.

We also rejoice in the news that your brother’s PSA numbers have dropped, for this is a sign of God’s mercy and the power of prayer. Let this be a reminder that our God is a God who heals, and His power is not limited by medical reports. In Jeremiah 30:17, He declares, "For I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds." We claim this promise over your brother, believing that God is at work even now, bringing restoration and healing to his body.

Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts full of faith and trust in Your sovereign power. We lift up our brother to You, asking for Your healing touch to be upon him. Lord, we pray for the biopsy procedure, that it would be performed with precision and clarity, and that the results would reveal Your perfect will for his treatment. Give him peace and strength as he waits, and surround him with Your presence so that he may feel Your love and comfort in this time.

Father, we thank You for the improvement in his PSA numbers, and we ask that You continue to work in his body, shrinking and eliminating any trace of cancer. We declare that by the stripes of Jesus, he is healed (Isaiah 53:5), and we stand on Your Word, believing that You are bringing complete restoration to his health. Strengthen his faith and the faith of his family, Lord, and let them see Your glory manifested in this situation.

We also pray for wisdom for the medical team, that You would guide their decisions and lead them to the best possible treatment plan. May Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard their hearts and minds in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). We trust in You, Lord, and we believe that You are working all things together for good (Romans 8:28).

In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray, believing that nothing is impossible for You. Amen.

We encourage you and your family to continue standing on God’s promises, speaking His Word over your brother’s life, and trusting in His unfailing love. This is a time to draw near to the Lord, to seek His face, and to believe in His power to heal. Let your faith be a testimony to those around you, and may the Lord use this situation to bring glory to His name.

If your brother has not yet placed his trust in Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior, we urge you to share the good news of salvation with him. It is only through faith in Jesus that we have access to the Father and the assurance of eternal life. John 14:6 tells us, "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'" Encourage him to surrender his life to Christ, for in Him alone is there true healing, peace, and hope.

We hear the urgency in what you shared, especially your brother's desire to have the biopsy right away rather than waiting. That makes so much sense. Waiting a whole month when you know something concerning is growing inside you feels almost impossible. It stirs up that restless, helpless feeling, and the mind can run to some dark places in the silence.

One practical thing your brother might consider: he or his wife could call the urologist's office directly, let them know how much distress the waiting is causing, and ask if there's any cancellation list he can get on, or if the doctor would reconsider the timeline given how heavily this is weighing on him. Sometimes a gentle, honest expression of the emotional toll opens a sooner door. It's worth the call.

We're also just glad you've felt your faith being built through this. In a season where so much feels out of your hands, it's a gift to notice God holding you. We join you now in asking Him to continue carrying your brother and your whole family.

Lord Jesus, we lift up this brother to You. You see the concern in his body, and You know the fears that come with waiting. Please grant him courage for each day between now and the biopsy, and give wisdom and precision to every medical professional who examines him. Surround this family with steady peace, and let them sense how close You are. We ask for Your healing hand to rest on him, and for Your will to be done in his treatment. It is a mercy that your ###'s PSA numbers have fallen, yet the burden of the impending biopsy and the shadow of that growth press heavily upon your hearts. Truly the Lord is teaching your family to lean upon Him in a time such as this, and your faith, like a tree planted by the rivers of water, shall not wither, for the very leaves of that Tree of Life are for healing. The least thing about Christ is charged with restoring power; His hem is enough for the issue of blood, His word for the centurion's servant, His touch for the fevered frame. Do not fear that He is slack concerning this trial, His healing power is as present now as when He walked the shores of Galilee, though He often works through the surgeon's knife and the physician's skill. That your ### longs for swifter action is but the natural cry of the wounded heart; yet remember, the Great Physician knows the perfect hour. He who healed Peter's wife's mother with a touch and lifted her to immediate service holds your ###'s times in His own pierced hands. Whether the biopsy comes today or a month hence, the leaves of the tree are still uncurling with balm.

Lay this matter before the Lord as the palsied man was laid at Jesus' feet, expecting both forgiveness and healing, for pardon and cure are sweet companions in the Gospel. The Sun of Righteousness rises with healing in His wings not only for the soul but for the body, as a foretaste of that blessed day when we shall be without spot or wrinkle. Your ###'s case may be grave, but my Master delights to heal those who appear incurable. The drop in the PSA numbers is a tiny leaf of encouragement; cling to it, for the very leaves are healing. Above all, seek the deeper remedy that maketh the life-blood new. A healed soul is the choicest miracle, and if this affliction drives your ### nearer to Christ, the furnace will have done its work. Pray without ceasing, trust without wavering, and let the healing virtue that flows from His grace minister to your whole family. The tree whose leaves are for the nations has fruit as well, and you shall taste it yet.

The dropping of the PSA numbers is already a small glimpse of God’s mercy, a reason to give thanks, even while the body still groans. Your brother’s eagerness to have the biopsy at once is the impulse of any man who feels a threat pressing within him. But this very urgency can become a school of faith. The physician sees fit to wait a month; do not let the soul be puffed up with impatience like a blown bladder, nor let anxiety rule where trust should grow.

Often God uses the body’s distress to scrape away the soul’s hidden diseases, vainglory, love of ease, the deceitfulness of worldly cares, and to lead us to cling more tightly to Him. The paralytic heard, “Sin no more, lest a worse thing come unto thee,” not because every sickness is a direct whip for a particular sin, but because our Lord always uses these tremors to wake us from numbness. Let this waiting time become a workshop of prayer and patient endurance. I go about daily dressing the wounds of souls, and I tell you: the prayers you have already offered have not fallen silent.

They are weapons laid up for the hour of need. Continue in them, adding mercy and forbearance, and so build that faith which does not demand to see the end before its time. Whether the tumor proves aggressive or slow, the Great Physician holds both body and soul. Watch, then, and be earnest, not seduced by false hopes of immediate ease, nor cast down by the threat of sorrows to come.
