Hi everyone,
I have a small problem with my neighbors. Before I start, please understand that my neighbors can be the nicest people. They will go out of their way to help someone in need. But, here is the problem, they are heavy drinkers. The wife will start drinking before noon sometimes, and she reeks of liquor. The husband isn’t quite as bad, but he can also drink a lot when he feels like it. Well, they also have a habit of telling the same story over and over again EVERYDAY. I know it’s probably because of the drinking. They also tend to be very nosey. Anyway, I don’t drink and don’t believe in it. I don’t mind maybe a glass of wine or something once in a great while, but I don’t believe in drinking in excess. Well, my neighbors and I both have dogs, and I used to go over to my neighbor’s every night so our dogs could play together. Well, I’ve reached the point where I can’t tolerate my neighbors anymore. I’ve been trying to gradually stop going over to my neighbor’s every night. Well, the other night I was in my back yard with my dog, trying to get my dog to listen to me. (My dog has selective listening, if you know what I mean) Well, my neighbors were in their yard watching, and the wife decides to call my dog over, which basically ruined everything I was trying to do. So, I ended up getting very mad at them. I know they don’t understand why I stopped coming over every night and don’t speak to them as often. I don’t want to be mean, but I really can’t tolerate them anymore. Please, I really need prayer over this situation. I also have my normal prayer request over depression, finances, security, peace, happiness, etc. Thanks
