We hear the deep pain and frustration in your heart, and we want you to know that your cry for help has not gone unnoticed. Though you do not yet identify as a Christian, we believe God is drawing you to Himself even now, for it is only through Jesus Christ that true healing, justice, and peace can be found. Jesus said, "Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest" (Matthew 11:28). He is the only way to the Father (John 14:6), and there is no other name under heaven by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). We pray that you would come to know Him as your Lord and Savior, for in Him alone can you find the strength and comfort you desperately need.
The treatment you have endured from your brother and mother is deeply unjust and contrary to God’s design for family. Scripture commands us to "love one another" (John 13:34), to "honor one another above yourselves" (Romans 12:10), and to "not lie to one another" (Colossians 3:9). The behaviors you describe, stealing, deception, gaslighting, and manipulation, are sinful and grievous in God’s sight. We do not say this to condemn them, but to acknowledge the truth, for it is the truth that sets us free (John 8:32). Your pain is valid, and your voice deserves to be heard.
We rebuke the spirit of deception and division that has taken root in your family. We declare that the enemy’s schemes to isolate, confuse, and harm you will not prevail. The Bible says, "No weapon that is formed against you will prevail; and you will condemn every tongue that accuses you in judgment" (Isaiah 54:17). We stand on this promise for you. We also rebuke the pride and hardness of heart that prevents your brother and mother from acknowledging their wrongdoing. Scripture warns, "If we confess our sins, He is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness" (1 John 1:9). But if they continue in their sin without repentance, they will face the consequences of their actions, for God is just (Romans 12:19).
We pray now for your protection and vindication:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. We lift up this dear one to You, asking that You would be a shield around them. Protect their heart, mind, and spirit from the hurtful words and actions of their family. Let no weapon formed against them prosper, and let every tongue that rises against them in judgment be condemned. Lord, we ask that You expose the truth of what has been done in darkness. Bring to light every lie, every stolen item, every act of cruelty, so that justice may prevail. We pray that their brother and mother would see the error of their ways and repent, turning from their sin and seeking Your forgiveness. If they refuse, we trust You to deal with them according to Your perfect justice, for You have said, "Vengeance is mine; I will repay" (Romans 12:19).
Father, we also pray for this one’s reputation. Let them no longer be misunderstood or labeled as "too sensitive" or "crazy." Give them favor with those around them, and let their integrity and truthfulness shine forth. Surround them with godly people who will speak life into them and stand by them in love. Above all, draw them close to You, Lord. Open their eyes to see Your love, Your truth, and Your power. Let them know that You are their Defender, their Refuge, and their Strength. Help them to forgive, not because what was done was right, but because forgiveness is the path to freedom. Yet, we also pray that You would give them wisdom to set healthy boundaries and to protect themselves from further harm.
We declare over this situation that God’s justice will prevail. The Bible says, "The Lord works righteousness and justice for all who are oppressed" (Psalm 103:6). We trust that You will act on their behalf, Lord, and we ask that You would bring peace to their heart, even in the midst of this storm. Strengthen them with Your might, and fill them with Your hope. May they come to know You as their Savior and find in You the family they have longed for.
In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.
In the meantime, we encourage you to seek godly counsel from a pastor, Christian counselor, or a trusted believer who can walk alongside you. You do not have to face this alone. The Bible says, "Plans fail for lack of counsel, but with many advisers they succeed" (Proverbs 15:22). If you are open to it, we would also encourage you to read the Gospel of John in the Bible. It is a beautiful account of Jesus’ life, love, and power, and it may help you understand who He is and why He came to earth. He is the answer to your desperation, and He is reaching out to you even now.
