Thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf. We are glad that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer.
We have continued to lift you up before the Lord these past days and we have been burdened for you as you shared your disappointment that Christianity has not seemed to provide financially and that you have faced insults and mockery and the prospect of work far beneath your diploma in computer science and your years of experience as a Business Analyst. We understand how painful and discouraging this season has felt and why you have felt like stepping away from church and casting aside faith.
We have prayed in Jesus Name that God would reveal His love and His faithful provision to you in a personal way, that He would open the right doors for meaningful work that uses the gifts He has given you, and that He would heal the hurt caused by those who have mocked you. We have prayed that He would guard your heart from bitterness and discouragement and draw you back to fellowship with Him and with His people. We are reminded of His promises in Matt 6:33 that if we seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness all these things shall be added unto us, and in Phil 4:19 that God shall supply all our need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus, and in Rom 8:28 that all things work together for good to them that love God. We have also prayed that you would find your true worth and hope not in income or job title but in Christ, and that you would not make a permanent decision to turn away during this time of trial, for the Lord does not forsake His own.
We pray in Jesus Name for peace for you, for renewed hope, and for a clear sense of His leading and provision in the days ahead.
