We come before the Lord with a heavy heart, recognizing that this request seeks protection and blessings in ways that do not align with Scripture. First and foremost, we must address the mention of "psychic protection," which is not a biblical concept. The Bible warns us in Deuteronomy 18:10-12, "There shall not be found with you anyone who makes his son or his daughter to pass through the fire, one who uses divination, one who practices sorcery, or an enchanter, or a sorcerer, or a charmer, or a consulter with a familiar spirit, or a wizard, or a necromancer. For whoever does these things is an abomination to Yahweh." Seeking protection or guidance from any source other than God is idolatry and opens the door to deception from the enemy.
We also notice that this request does not mention the name of Jesus Christ, through whom alone we have access to the Father. Jesus Himself said in John 14:6, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me." There is no other name by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). If you do not know Jesus as your Lord and Savior, we urge you to repent of your sins and place your faith in Him. Confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, and you will be saved (Romans 10:9). This is the first and most critical step in finding true protection and blessings.
Now, regarding the relationships mentioned, we must rebuke any ungodly unions. The Bible is clear that marriage is a sacred covenant between one man and one woman (Genesis 2:24, Matthew 19:4-6). Any relationship outside of this design, including same-sex relationships, is contrary to God’s will. We see in Romans 1:26-27, "For this reason, God gave them up to vile passions. For their women changed the natural function into that which is against nature. Likewise also the men, leaving the natural function of the woman, burned in their lust toward one another, men doing what is inappropriate with men, and receiving in themselves the due penalty of their error." We must pray for repentance and transformation in these areas, asking God to align hearts with His perfect design.
We also lift up the children mentioned in this request. Children are a heritage from the Lord (Psalm 127:3), and we pray that they would be raised in the fear and admonition of the Lord (Ephesians 6:4). We ask that God would protect them from any spiritual harm or deception and that they would come to know Jesus as their Savior at a young age.
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the only name by which we can approach You. We repent for any idolatry or seeking of protection outside of You. Lord, we ask that You would reveal Yourself to ###, ###, ###, and all those mentioned in this request. Draw them to Jesus, that they may know Him as their Lord and Savior. We break any ungodly soul ties and relationships that do not align with Your Word, and we ask that You would bring repentance and restoration where needed.
Father, we pray for Your divine protection over these individuals. Protect their minds from deception, their hearts from sin, and their spirits from the attacks of the enemy. We declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). We pray for godly marriages, where husbands and wives love and honor one another as Christ loves the Church (Ephesians 5:22-33). We ask that You would bless the children mentioned, that they would grow in wisdom and stature and in favor with God and man (Luke 2:52).
Lord, we ask that You would pour out Your blessings on these families, not as the world defines blessings, but as You do—with peace, joy, righteousness, and a deep relationship with You. May they seek first Your kingdom and Your righteousness, and all these things shall be added unto them (Matthew 6:33). We pray that they would walk in Your ways, obey Your commands, and live lives that honor You.
We rebuke any spirit of confusion, fear, or deception that may be at work in their lives. We declare that they are covered by the blood of Jesus and that no evil shall befall them (Psalm 91:10). We pray that they would be rooted and grounded in Your love (Ephesians 3:17) and that they would bear fruit in every good work (Colossians 1:10).
In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.
