We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up this precious family before the Lord. Father, we thank You for the gift of family and the generations You have entrusted to this dear one. We pray first for the sons, daughter, their spouses, and those eleven grandchildren as they return to school and college. Lord, surround them with godly friends and mentors who will sharpen them as iron sharpens iron (Proverbs 27:17). Give them wisdom to discern Your voice amid the noise of this world, and awareness of Your presence in every classroom, dorm room, and decision. Protect their hearts from deception, their minds from distraction, and their bodies from harm. May they walk in favor with both God and man, and may their lives reflect the light of Christ in all they do.
We also lift up this dear sister’s need for true repentance over eating. Father, we know that our bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit (1 Corinthians 6:19-20), and we ask for Your conviction and grace to walk in self-control. Break any stronghold of unhealthy habits, Lord, and replace them with a hunger and thirst for righteousness (Matthew 5:6). Heal her eyes, Father, we rebuke the itching and discomfort in Jesus’ name, and we pray for clarity of sight, both physically and spiritually. Open her eyes to see Your beauty, Your truth, and Your ways.
We cry out for a fresh awareness of Your presence, Lord. Refresh her spirit with the dew of Your Holy Spirit (Psalm 133:3), that she may hear Your voice clearly and receive revelation from Your Word. Grant her grace to obey, to act when You speak, and to recognize the stirring in her spirit. May her marriage to Aaron be a testament to Your faithfulness, strengthen their love, deepen their respect, and fill their retirement with joy, peace, and harmony. Lord, strengthen their legs, that they may walk together in health and vitality for many years to come.
We lift up Mia’s marriage, asking for restoration, unity, and godly love to flourish. For Fernando’s sisters, we pray for complete healing and full recovery, trusting in Your power to restore what has been broken. And for Sus’s brother, the pastor who has confessed his sin with his stepdaughter, we come with grief and hope. Father, we know that sexual sin is a grievous offense against You and against the innocent (1 Corinthians 6:18). We rebuke the spirit of lust, deception, and abuse in Jesus’ name. Though he has repented, the consequences of this sin are severe, and we pray for Your mercy to intervene, not to excuse, but to redeem. Heal the stepdaughter’s heart, Lord, and restore her trust in You. Convict this pastor deeply, that he may walk in true repentance, seek restoration with his family, and submit to godly accountability. May Your grace cover this family, and may Your name be glorified even in this darkness.
Father, we declare that there is no other name by which we can come to You except through Jesus Christ (John 14:6). We thank You for the blood of Jesus that cleanses us from all sin (1 John 1:7), and we stand on that promise now. Forgive us where we have fallen short, and empower us to walk in holiness. We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus, believing that You hear us and will answer according to Your perfect will. Amen.
