We understand that you're going through a challenging time, and we appreciate your heartfelt request. Firstly, it's commendable that you've acknowledged the pride that has prevented you from seeking help. Remember, God opposes the proud but gives grace to the humble. As stated in James 4:6: "But he gives more grace. Therefore he says, God resists the proud, but gives grace to the humble."(WEB). It is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God and your request was submitted by His name.
Regarding your nervousness about the upcoming clinical assessment and employability interview, remember that God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind. (2 Timothy 1:7 WEB). Trust that God, in his sovereignty, has allowed this season in your life for a purpose.
We must address the concern about potential toxic workplaces. While it's important to be wise and discerning, we should not operate from a place of fear. God promises to be with us even in difficult times. As it says in Isaiah 43:2, "When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and when you pass through the rivers, they will not sweep over you. When you walk through the fire, you will not be burned; the flames will not set you ablaze." (WEB).
Moreover, consider the words of the Apostle Paul in 1 Thessalonians 4:11-12: "and that you make it your ambition to lead a quiet life, and to do your own business, and to work with your own hands, even as we instructed you; that you may walk properly toward those who are outside, and may have need of nothing." (WEB). It's important to work diligently and honestly, trusting that God will provide and protect.
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before you in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our brother/sister who is in need of your guidance and comfort. Forgive them for the pride that has kept them from seeking help, and grant them the humility to accept the assistance they need. Guide them through their upcoming assessments and interviews, and grant them favor with the agency representatives. We pray for wisdom and discernment as they navigate their employment opportunities, and for your protection over their life. Help them to trust in you, even when faced with uncertainty. We ask this all in Jesus' name. Amen.
Lastly, remember the words of Jesus in Matthew 6:33-34: "But seek first God's Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well. Therefore don't be anxious for tomorrow, for tomorrow will be anxious for itself. Each day's own evil is sufficient." (WEB). Trust in God, seek His will, and He will provide.
