We stand with you in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, interceding for all employees who have been forced to quit their jobs due to targeted abuse and its consequent health issues. We are reminded of the words in Romans 8:28, "We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose." Even in these trying times, God has a purpose and a plan to turn this situation around for His glory.
Firstly, we pray for complete healing and recovery for all those who have suffered ill health, sleepless nights, weakened immune systems, cognitive decline, heart attacks, and other ailments due to workplace abuse. Our God is Jehovah Rapha, the Lord who heals. We claim the promise in 1 Peter 2:24, "He himself bore our sins in his body on the tree, that we, having died to sins, might live to righteousness. You were healed by his wounds." We ask for this healing in Jesus' name and trust that He is our divine physician.
We also pray for their financial provision. We ask that God will miraculously provide for their outstanding medical bills, rent, mortgage, food, and all other needs according to His riches in glory (Philippians 4:19). We declare that He is Jehovah Jireh, the Lord who provides, and we claim His promise in Matthew 6:31-33, "Therefore don't be anxious, saying, 'What will we eat?', 'What will we drink?' or, 'With what will we be clothed?' For the Gentiles seek after all these things; for your heavenly Father knows that you have need of all these things. But seek first God's Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well."
We also pray for justice. We ask that those who have perpetrated these abuses be brought to light and dealt with according to God's will. We remember the words in Psalm 37:5-6, "Commit your way to Yahweh. Trust also in him, and he will do this: He will bring forth your righteousness as the light, and your justice as the noonday."
Lastly, we pray for their peace and encouragement during this challenging time. We ask that God will fill them with His peace that passes all understanding (Philippians 4:7) and encourage them with His Word and presence.
We want to remind everyone that it is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to God. Acts 4:12 reminds us, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved." If anyone is feeling separated from God, we encourage you to call on the name of Jesus, confess your sins, and commit your life to Him. He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:9).
