I just got the news yesterday that our unborn baby cannot be seen on an ultrasound at ### weeks. They think I have had a missed miscarriage. I go back in ### days for another scan. Please pray that this is a mistake, God would work a miracle, and there would be a healthy happy baby growing when we go back.

We have read your request with heavy hearts and we are joining you in prayer during this agonizing time of waiting and uncertainty. There are few things more painful than the fear of losing a child you already love so deeply, and we weep with you as you wait for that next scan. We are asking God to draw near to you and your family right now and to surround you with His peace while you wait.

We know you are praying for a miracle, that what appeared to be a missed miscarriage would be shown to be a mistake and that a healthy, growing baby would be seen. We serve a God for whom nothing is impossible, and we join our faith with yours to ask for His merciful and miraculous hand upon this precious life. As Jesus said, With God all things are possible Matthew 19:26. We also cling to the truth that every life is fearfully and wonderfully made by Him, for You formed my inmost being. You knit me together in my mother's womb. I will give thanks to you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made Psalm 139:13-14, and Before I formed you in the womb, I knew you Jeremiah 1:5. This child, no matter how small, is known and loved by God.

We also want to gently share that you mentioned God in your request but did not mention Jesus. We want to remind you that it is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father and it is only through His name that we are saved and our prayers are heard. Jesus said, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me John 14:6. There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved Acts 4:12. If you have not already, we encourage you to put your trust in Jesus Christ, believing that He died for your sins and rose again, for if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved Romans 10:9. It is in His name and by His blood that we can boldly come before God together.

Let us pray together.

Father in heaven, we come before You in the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ. Lord, You see this mother and father and the deep ache and hope in their hearts as they wait. You see this unborn baby whom You have knit together. Lord, we ask in Jesus' name for a miracle if it be Your will. We ask that You would protect and sustain this life, that on the next ultrasound there would be a strong heartbeat and a healthy, growing baby to the amazement of the doctors and to Your glory. Lord, nothing is too hard for You.

Even as we pray for this miracle, we submit to Your perfect and sovereign will, trusting that You work all things together for good for those who love You Romans 8:28. We pray that You would guard this mother's heart and mind with Your peace that surpasses all understanding Philippians 4:7. Comfort them as only You can, for You are near to those who have a broken heart, and save those who have a crushed spirit Psalm 34:18. Give wisdom to the doctors and clarity on the next scan. Whether You answer with the miracle we are pleading for or with the difficult path of loss, help this family to feel Your presence, to know Your love does not waver, and to be held by Your everlasting arms. We ask You to heal the brokenhearted and bind up their wounds Psalm 147:3, and to give them strength for each moment, for You have said Do not be afraid, for I am with you. Do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you Isaiah 41:10.

We entrust this baby, this mother, and this family into Your loving hands, in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior, Amen.

We will continue to hold you up in prayer in the days ahead. Please let us know how the next scan goes. Whatever the outcome, God has not left you and He will give you the grace to walk through it. Cast all your worries on him, because he cares for you 1 Peter 5:7.

We were so sorry to read your update. Hearing that your baby could not be seen and facing the words missed miscarriage while you still have to wait days for another scan is an incredibly hard place to be. It makes sense that your heart is holding both grief and hope at once, praying with everything in you for a miracle.

We are praying with you for that next scan, for clarity for your doctors, and for the life and health of your baby. We also want to hold space for how heavy these next days will feel, no matter the outcome. This in between time is often the hardest part.

If it helps, a few gentle things for the wait: bring someone you trust with you to that appointment to listen and support you, write down any questions you want to ask your care team beforehand so you do not have to remember them in the moment, and give yourself permission to rest and to let others help with daily tasks. Please stay close to your medical team and follow their guidance, and reach out right away if you have increased pain, bleeding, or worry.

You are not alone in this. We are carrying you and your baby before the Lord.

Father, we lift this mother and her child to You. You see this baby and You see her waiting heart. We ask for Your mercy and for life, and we ask for Your peace to guard her in these days. Whatever the scan shows, be near and carry her. In Jesus name we pray, amen.

God heal me in every area of my life. Deliver and cleanse me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Your sorrow has been laid before the Lord and before His people, and we have borne it with you to the throne of grace in these heavy days of waiting.

We understand the anguish of hearing that no child could be seen, and the trembling hope with which you look toward the next scan. It is a place where hope feels frail, and yet the Lord has a wonderful eye for such souls as these, for those who scarcely dare to hope and therefore scarcely dare to pray. He invites you to bring every hard case before Him, for the power of Jesus knows no limit and He is grand in emergencies. What seems firmly entrenched against all human help is not beyond His hand, for the least thing about Christ is healing, and the leaves of the tree of life are for the healing of His people. He it is who heals the broken heart and binds up its wounds, and there is hope for you in Him when there is no hope in yourself.

We have prayed and do continue to pray that the God who gives life and watches over the unborn would work a miracle of mercy for you. We have asked that when you return, there would be found a healthy, living child growing according to His good design, and that your eyes would see what your heart longs to see. We have prayed also for your peace in this interval, that whether He grants this miracle according to our earnest desire or calls you to walk through deep sorrow, you would know yourself held in contact with Christ, from whom all healing and pardon flow, and that your heart would be kept in quiet confidence before Him.

May the Lord in His compassion grant you strength for each of these days, comfort your heart and the heart of your household, and let His will, which is wise and merciful, be made plain with grace to bear it. We ask this in the name of Jesus Christ, our great Miracle Worker and Healer, who hears the cries of His people.

Your pain in this waiting and uncertainty has been heard, and we are joining you in prayer before the Lord who is compassionate and cares for you and your child.

We pray that the God who gives life and who is able to do far more than we can ask or imagine would be merciful to you in these days. We ask Him to protect the life within you, to let the next scan show a healthy, growing baby with a strong heartbeat, and to grant the miracle you are longing for. We pray for wisdom and care for the doctors and nurses who will see you again, and for clarity in what they see.

We also pray for your heart and your family in this time of fear and sorrow. May the Lord guard you with His peace, sustain you with His presence, comfort you in every moment of waiting, and give you strength to trust Him whatever the outcome. He sees your tears, He hears every prayer, and He is near to the brokenhearted.

We will continue to pray for you, for your baby, and for hope and healing in the days ahead. May the Lord's will be done with mercy, and may you feel His love upholding you now and in the days to come.

My heart aches with you in this painful waiting. To hear that your baby could not be seen and to be told it may be a missed miscarriage, and then to have to wait days for another scan, is an agony that words can hardly carry. I am praying for you right now, and I will continue to pray through these days ahead.

I am joining you in asking God for a miracle, that when you return you would see a healthy, growing baby. We serve a God who still does miracles. He is not limited to certain moments or methods, and He is not bound by what looks probable or possible on a medical image or by statistics. With Him distance is nothing, and what is impossible for us is possible for Him. Scripture shows Jesus turning water into wine, feeding thousands from a small supply so that there was even food left over, opening the eyes of a man born blind, and calling Lazarus out of the grave after he had already died and been buried, so that His power and love would be more clearly seen. Those accounts remind us that He is able to bring life where we see no hope.

At the same time I am praying that you will know His nearness and peace in this very hard in between time, whatever the next scan shows. The greatest miracle of all is the salvation He gives through Jesus Christ, bringing us into fellowship with Him that even death cannot break, and His presence does not leave us in sorrow. I am asking Him to guard your heart and mind, to give you strength for each hour of waiting, to give wisdom to those caring for you, and to surround you and your family with His comfort and love.

Father, I lift this mother and father and their precious child to You. You see this little one and You see this mother’s heart. You know all things and You love them with perfect love. I ask in the name of Jesus that You would be merciful and, if it be Your will, work a miracle and let this baby be seen alive and healthy and growing. Touch this child and protect this pregnancy. And Lord, whatever is ahead, hold this family close, let them feel Your presence, give them peace that passes understanding, and help them to trust Your goodness and Your perfect will. Amen.
