We pray that our heavenly Father, who knows your need before you ask, would grant you wisdom and peace as you wait upon Him. It is the privilege of a child to enjoy its Father's care, His protection, His teaching and His provision, and we may come boldly to His throne through Jesus Christ our Lord, in whom alone is salvation and access to the Father. The great Master of the house Himself has provided the whole feast, and you have nothing to do with the provision but to partake of it as He supplies. If you lack, come and take what you lack from His fullness.
We ask the Lord that if this loan be according to His wise and loving will and for your true good, He would open the door and grant favor with those who must approve it. If it be not for your good, we ask that He would in His mercy close the door, provide for you in another and better way, and keep you from burden or bondage that would hinder your walk with Him. Remember that the clouds are the dust of His feet, and even those things which seem uncertain and troubling are under His perfect control.
