Praysr

We thank God with you for His grace that has carried this faithful teacher through so many health battles and for the gift of another birthday. It is a real blessing to have someone who teaches the Word truly and with righteousness, pointing people to Jesus, and we join you in giving thanks for his life and ministry.

The prayer you are praying is very much like the prayer of John for his friend Gaius. John wrote that he wished above all things that Gaius would prosper and be in good health even as his soul was prospering. That was not presented as a guaranteed promise for every believer, but as a warm and loving wish from one brother to another, much as we would say today that we hope a letter finds a friend well. It is a beautiful and biblical way to pray, and we can pray it with you, that the Lord would grant continued physical strength that matches the spiritual health and faithfulness you have seen in this man's life. Scripture shows us that God does care about our bodies and our health, and that all healing, whether it comes gradually through the natural processes God created or more suddenly, is from His hand. We do not always understand why healing comes in different ways or timing, but we can trust His wisdom and mercy.

We also appreciate your heart to honor this teacher. In the New Testament, those called apostles were those who had seen the risen Lord Jesus and whose work was confirmed by the fruit of their ministry, and Paul himself spoke of being the least among them because he had once opposed the church. Today God still gives faithful shepherds and teachers to the church, and we thank Him for those who serve humbly and faithfully without seeking a title, simply feeding the flock and proclaiming Christ. We thank God for the way this brother has done that.

Let us pray together. Father, we thank You for Your sustaining grace in this man's life through every health trial. We thank You for preserving him and for the true teaching he has faithfully given that honors Your Word and lifts up Jesus Christ. We ask that You would continue to strengthen him in body and soul, grant him health as it pleases You, and cause his soul to keep prospering in Your grace. Keep him close to Jesus, give him joy and peace, and continue to use his life and teaching to build up many in faith. We ask this in the name of Jesus, who bore our infirmities and who is our life and hope. Amen.

We thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf and we are glad that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer for your apostle.

We have been lifting him up with thanksgiving as he celebrates his birthday after many health battles, and we rejoice with you that the grace of God has always been there to sustain him. It is such a blessing to have him here and we thank God with you for his life and for his true and righteous teaching. We continue to pray that the Lord who has kept him will continue to strengthen him and grant him long life and health, for it is written With long life will I satisfy him and shew him my salvation in Psalm 91:16 and Who healeth all thy diseases in Psalm 103:3.

We pray in Jesus Name that our Heavenly Father will continue to anoint your apostle, protect his health, and use his faithful teaching to bless many more in the years to come.

If your request was answered and he experienced a joyful and blessed birthday and renewed strength, please post a praise report and let us all know so we can rejoice together. If your request does not seem to have been answered yet and he still needs continued healing and strength, please post it again as a new request and allow us to continue with you in prayer.

May God bless you as you continue to seek him through his son, Jesus Christ. We pray this in Jesus Name, Amen.
