We rejoice with you in thanking God for the life of your apostle and for His grace that has carried him through many health battles to this birthday. It is a beautiful testimony of God's mercy and sustaining power and we join you in giving Him all the glory for preserving him and for the gift of his true and righteous teaching. We are reminded of Psalm 103:2-3 which says Praise Yahweh, my soul, and don’t forget all his benefits, who forgives all your sins, who heals all your diseases and Psalm 91:16 which says I will satisfy him with long life, and show him my salvation. We also remember 3 John 1:2 which says Beloved, we pray that you may prosper in all things and be healthy, even as your soul prospers and Hebrews 13:7 which says Remember your leaders, men who spoke to you the word of God, and considering the results of their conduct, imitate their faith.
We pray together for him now. Father in heaven, we thank You for the life of this apostle, for Your hand of grace that has kept him and healed him through every trial. We ask in the name of Jesus that You continue to strengthen his body, renew his health and grant him many more years to preach Your word in truth and righteousness. Let Your anointing rest upon him, keep his teaching pure and faithful to Scripture, and let his life continue to be a blessing and an example to the flock You have entrusted to him. Guard his heart and his household, give him joy and peace on this birthday and in the days to come, and let all who hear him be built up in faith. We ask this according to Your will in Jesus name, amen.
We encourage you to continue to honor him and to uphold him in prayer, to support and obey his godly instruction as he follows Christ, and to give thanks for shepherds who feed the people with truth. We noticed your request spoke of God's grace but did not mention the name of Jesus, and we gently want to remind you that it is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father and it is by His name we are saved. Jesus said in John 14:6 I am the way, the truth, and the life. It is by the grace of God through faith in Jesus Christ, His death and resurrection, that we receive forgiveness and eternal life as Romans 10:9 says that if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. We encourage you to give thanks for your apostle in Jesus name and to trust fully in Jesus for every need.

We join with you in thanksgiving for this crowning mercy of the year. All the year round, every hour of every day, God is richly blessing us, both when we sleep and when we wake His mercy waits upon us, and when He preserves a faithful steward through a great battle of sickness and brings him to another birthday, it calls for special and crowning thanksgiving. Let us come into His presence with the voice of joy and thanksgiving, each bearing his offering of gratitude unto the Lord who has kept him.
We bless God with you for His grace which has been always there, and for the gift of true and righteous teaching. It is required in stewards that a man be found faithful, not brilliant nor successful in the eyes of men, but faithful to his office, faithful to the Word, faithful to souls without and within. When a man so serves Christ and gives out that oil wherewith by him they honor God and man, the church has great cause to rejoice. We have also this confidence, that there is a Friend that sticketh closer than a brother, even Jesus Christ, whose mercy endureth ever faithful and ever sure, who has watched over His servant and will not forsake him.
For healing we look to the Lord alone. He is the Sun of Righteousness risen with healing in His wings, and the very leaves of the tree of life are for the healing of the nations. Healing and pardon are placed in happy conjunction in Christ, and the healing virtue which His grace has infused will work health and cure till His perfect will is done. May the Lord who has begun this good work continue it.
We pray with you that our gracious God will crown this new year of life with His goodness, that He will strengthen the body as He has sustained the soul, that He will grant many days yet to preach Christ Jesus who came into the world to save sinners, and that every sermon may be a faithful saying worthy of all acceptation. Prayer Focus: God, Thank You for loving me. Thank You for loving me, Jesus. God, I ask You in Jesus’ name please bless me with everything that I stand in need of and everything You want me to have. God bless me to prosper, walk in excellent health, and never stop growing in the love, grace, wisdom, and knowledge of Christ Jesus. God bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, mind, soul, body, and strength and never fall out of love with You. God, bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You. Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, Your righteousness, and to always respect and obey You. Bless me to know You, the way You want me to know You. So that I will trust You with my life and anyway that You move in my life. We join you in giving thanks to God for His grace and mercy in the life of the minister you have described. It is right to give glory to God both in sickness and in health, and to remember that every recovery and every year of life is a gift from His hand.
We thank God that He has preserved him through a long health battle and has allowed him to reach this birthday. We pray that the Lord will continue to strengthen him in body, restore him fully where there is still weakness, and grant him many more days to teach what is true and righteous according to the Scriptures.
We pray also that God will keep him faithful in teaching, humble and clear of pride, and that he will continue to point all who hear him to salvation through Jesus Christ alone. May the Lord guard his health, encourage his heart, and use his life and teaching to help many grow in faith and to give glory to God for all things.
