We rejoice with you and give thanks to God with you for His faithfulness after so many years of waiting and praying. It is a beautiful testimony that after a decade of prayer you are now seeing His hand move and His promises unfold. We join you in praising Him for His perfect timing, for He does all things well. We are reminded that we are to wait for Yahweh, be strong, and let our heart take courage, yes, wait for Yahweh. Psalm 27:14 and that the vision is yet for the appointed time, and it hurries toward the end, and will not prove false. Though it takes time, wait for it, because it will surely come. It will not delay. Habakkuk 2:3. Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights. James 1:17. We thank God that He has heard you and is answering according to His will and His timing.
We lift up your son before the Lord with you. We pray that God will guide him to steward well the gift God has given him, for as each has received a gift, employ it in serving one another, as good managers of the grace of God in its various forms. 1 Peter 4:10. We pray that he will use his gift diligently and humbly, and that whatever he does, he will work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men. Colossians 3:23. We pray for promotion if it is the Lord's will for him, remembering that promotion does not come from the east, nor from the west, nor yet from the south, but God is the judge. He puts down one, and lifts up another. Psalm 75:6-7. We ask God to open the right doors at the right time and to give your son wisdom, favor, and a heart to glorify God through his dream.
We also bring your husband before the Lord. We pray with you for his continued victory over drinking and we encourage him in the Lord to walk in sobriety and self control, for the Scripture says do not be drunken with wine, in which is dissipation, but be filled with the Spirit. Ephesians 5:18. We know that God desires sobriety, clarity of mind, and a life led by the Spirit, and we pray that your husband will find strength in Christ to turn fully from any desire for drink and to be filled instead with the presence and power of the Holy Spirit. We also pray for his disability request, that God will provide and make a way according to His perfect provision and timing. We trust that our God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:19. We pray for patience and peace as you wait, and for God to sustain your family in this season.
We lift up your daughter and your granddaughter with compassion. Children are a heritage of Yahweh, the fruit of the womb is his reward. Psalm 127:3. We pray for healing and comfort for your grandbaby who is suffering with colic, that the Lord will soothe her little body, calm her distress, and bring healing and rest. We pray for your daughter who is weary and getting no rest, that the Lord will enfold her in His care, for Jesus said come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest. Matthew 11:28. We pray that God will give her renewed strength, sleep, and peace, and that He will surround her with help and support.
We join you in praying for your family to become the family you have dreamed and longed for, a family that loves God and walks in His ways. We pray that your household will be one that chooses to serve the Lord together, as it is written, as for me and my house, we will serve Yahweh. Joshua 24:15. We pray that God will knit your hearts together in love, forgiveness, unity, and devotion to Him.
We thank you for praying in the name of Jesus, for it is through Him we have access to the Father and it is in His name that our prayers are heard.
We pray together, Father in heaven, we thank You for Your goodness, Your mercy, and Your perfect timing. We praise You for the answered prayers You have already brought to this dear family after many years of faithful prayer, and we thank You that You hear and You act according to Your loving will. We ask for Your continued love and guidance over this family. Lead the son in the path You have for him, develop his gift for Your glory, and promote him as You see fit. Deliver the husband completely from any bondage to alcohol, fill him with Your Spirit, strengthen him in self control, and provide for his needs regarding his disability according to Your riches. Touch the precious granddaughter, bring healing to her body and comfort to her cries, and grant rest and renewal to her mother. Make this family a testimony of Your grace, a household that seeks You first and serves You together all the days of their lives. We ask all this in the mighty and saving name of Jesus Christ our Lord, amen.
