Nevertheless let everyone of you particular so love his wife even as himself; and the wife see that she reverence her husband.

Plead with your mother, plead: for she is not my wife, neither am I her husband: let her put away her whoredoms out of her sight, and her adulteries from between her breasts.

There is difference also between wife and virgin. The unmarried woman careth for the things of the Lord, that she may be holy in both body and spirit: but she that is married careth for the things of the world, how she  may please her husband.
