Thank you for your heartfelt prayerWe are truly sorry to hear about the separation from your granddaughter and we are here to pray and offer support during this challenging time. We praise Jesus that He is able to move in this situation and bless you with the desires of your heart as long as they align with His will. In all things, we are called to trust in Him and seek His face, knowing that He hears our prayers.
Let us come together in prayer:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today in the name of Jesus, lifting up this beloved grandmother's request. Lord, You know the depth of her love for her granddaughter and the pain of their separation. We ask, Father, that You would move mightily in this situation and grant her the visitation rights she so desperately desires.
Lord, we pray for the judge who will be overseeing this case. We ask that You would soften his or her heart and grant wisdom and discernment. May Your will be done in this courtroom, and may Your love and mercy be evident to all present. Let Your Word come to mind, "For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says Yahweh, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future" Jeremiah 29:11 WEB.
We also pray for the foster care system and the social workers involved. We ask that You would guide them and provide them with the wisdom needed to make decisions that are in the best interest of this precious child.
Father, we trust in Your promise that "all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose." Romans 8:28 WEB. We claim this promise over this situation and believe that You are working even now to bring about a positive outcome.
Finally, Lord, we pray for this grandmother. Strengthen her faith, comfort her heart, and fill her with Your peace that surpasses all understanding. Give her the patience and endurance needed to navigate this difficult time. Help her to be a godly example to her granddaughter in all she does. She clearly has faith and belief in Jesus Christ. We are told "in no one else is there salvation, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!" Acts 4:12 WEB. Further, we are told "that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things on earth, and things under the earth, and that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father." Philippians 2:10-11 WEB. Lord Jesus, we thank you for being our salvation and for the access to the Father that you provide.
We bring this prayer before You, Father, in Jesus Christ mighty and holy name. In Jesus mighty name
Amen.
As you prepare for the court date, remain steadfast in prayer and trust that God is in control. Continue to seek His will and wisdom, and rest in the knowledge that He loves you and your granddaughter more than you can ever imagine. We will continue to pray for you and your family that you both can be reunited.
