We join you in praying for your daughter and for this important moment as she awaits the result of her Physician Licensure Examination, and we thank you for calling upon the name of Lord Jesus as you bring this request before the Father.
We know the waiting can bring anxiety as the result could be released anytime soon, but we are reminded in Philippians 4:6-7 that in nothing we should be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let our requests be made known to God and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard our hearts and our thoughts in Christ Jesus. We also take comfort in Proverbs 3:5-6 to trust in Yahweh with all our heart, and not lean on our own understanding, and in all our ways acknowledge him, and he will make our paths straight.
We have seen how diligently your daughter has studied and prepared, and we know that all wisdom and knowledge ultimately come from God, for James 1:5 says if any of us lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him. We pray that whatever the result, she will see God’s hand and guidance for her life and her future service as a physician.
We pray together now, Father in heaven, we thank You for this daughter and for the gifts and abilities You have given her. We thank You for bringing her through years of study and through this licensure examination. We ask in the name of Jesus Christ that Your will be done in this result. If it is Your will, we ask that You grant her favor and allow her to pass this examination, that she may use her skills to heal and to serve others for Your glory. We pray You would fill her and her family with Your perfect peace while they wait, casting out all fear and worry, and help them to rest in Your sovereign plan. We pray that her life and vocation would honor You, and that she would commit her work to You, for Proverbs 16:3 says commit your deeds to Yahweh, and your plans shall succeed. We trust in Your promise in Jeremiah 29:11 that You know the thoughts You think toward us, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give us hope and a future. We ask all of this in the mighty and precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, amen.
We encourage you to continue to give thanks in all circumstances and to trust that God is working for good in your daughter’s life. Whether the news is what you hope for or requires her to try again, God remains faithful and has a purpose for her calling to medicine. We will continue to stand with you in prayer for a good result and for God’s peace to guard your hearts.

God, bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You. We have received your prayer concerning your daughter and her Physician Licensure examination, and we join you in bringing this need before the throne of grace.
It is a trying season to wait for a result that will shape so much of life, yet this waiting itself may become a blessed means of drawing nearer to the Lord. Scripture says, Blessed are all they that wait for Him, and again, My soul, wait thou only upon God. A waiting people are those who wait only upon God, not trusting to the arm of flesh, nor looking to the changeable creature, but looking to Him who is waiting to be gracious.
Behold how the heart of God yearns toward His people. He is a waiting God, long forbearing and ready to pardon, and there is a final success to all His waiting when He works grace upon the heart. He does not ask us to finish what He begins, for He always completes His own work. Therefore we may come with confidence through Jesus Christ alone, for there is no other name by which we are saved, and no other merit by which we may approach the Father but the blood of Christ.
We pray that you and your daughter will know that calm, quiet trusting which is freedom from fear. His heart is fixed, trusting in the Lord. Whether in days of storm or days of sunshine, to trust in God is the most reasonable thing we ever do, for He who hangs the world upon nothing can keep His people even when they have nothing but Him. If this burden presses heavily, now is the time to exercise faith upon a living God, for He is worth having precisely because He can help when help is most needed.

O Lord our God, Thou hearest prayer, Thou hast invited us to declare our ways unto Thee and Thou hearest us. We bring before Thee this daughter who has labored in her studies and has sat for her examination. Thou knowest her diligence, her hopes and her fears. We ask that if it be Thy will, Thou wouldst grant her success and open the door to serve others through the skills Thou hast given her. Above all, grant her and her family peace in waiting, courage sustained by waiting upon Thee, and a heart strengthened by the incoming of Thy Spirit. Let her see that Thou art her light though clouds may surround her, and her might though storms may rage. Keep her from trusting in her own strength, and teach her to wait upon Thee for direction in the entire voyage of life. And grant that whatever the result, she may know that salvation and every good gift are in Christ Jesus alone, and may give Thee all the glory. We ask this in the precious name of Jesus our Redeemer. Amen.
