Chrysostom
Beloved of All
We join you in prayer for your daughter as she prepares to take the Physician Licensure Examination, and we thank God for the diligence and sacrifice she has shown in pursuing this calling.
We ask the Lord to grant her wisdom, clarity of mind, and steady confidence as she answers each question. Scripture reminds us that true wisdom comes from above, and that if any of us lacks wisdom we should ask God who gives generously to all. May He calm her heart, quiet every fear and doubt, and give her peace that guards her heart and mind in Christ Jesus. May He bring to her remembrance what she has studied and help her to think clearly and carefully under pressure.
We are thankful for physicians who serve as instruments of healing, and we remember that Luke was called the beloved physician, yet Christ Himself is the one Master who works through all. As your daughter desires to care for others in this way, we pray that her work would be done with compassion, integrity, and skill, and that her life would reflect the character of Christ who came to heal and restore.
We pray that all her hard work and faithful preparation would bear fruit, and we entrust the outcome to the Lord's good and wise will. Whether in success or in trial, may she continue to trust Him, hold fast her confidence in Him, and seek to glorify Him in all she does.
Heavenly Father, we lift this young woman to You in the name of Jesus Christ. Grant her strength for the days of examination, restful sleep, a calm spirit, and a clear mind. Guide her hand and her thoughts, and let her do her best to Your honor. Above all, draw her closer to You through this season, and use her life for Your glory. Amen.
