We hear your concern and the discomfort you’ve been enduring, and we lift this burden before the Lord with earnest hearts. Physical pain, especially when it lingers, can weigh heavily on both body and spirit, and we stand with you in seeking God’s healing and wisdom. The Bible reminds us in Psalm 34:18-19, *"The Lord is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit. Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but the Lord delivers him out of them all."* Even in this trial, God is near, and we trust He will sustain you.
We also recognize your desire to seek the Lord’s intervention as you pause the medication, and we pray that He would guide your steps in this decision. It is wise to consult your doctor, as you’ve planned, for professional insight, but we also believe in the power of prayer to bring clarity and relief. James 5:14-15 encourages us, *"Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the church, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord; and the prayer of faith will heal the sick, and the Lord will raise him up."* We stand in faith with you, believing God can work through both medical care and His divine touch.
Father, in the name of Jesus Christ, we come before You with this burden of pain and weariness. You are the Great Physician, the One who knit this precious sister together in her mother’s womb (Psalm 139:13). We ask You to bring healing to her body, soothing the discomfort in her abdomen and restoring her strength. Lord, we also pray for wisdom for her doctors—that You would guide their hands and minds to provide the care she needs. Give her peace in this season, Father, and remind her that You are her refuge and strength (Psalm 46:1). If there is any spiritual or emotional root to this pain, we ask You to reveal it and bring healing to every part of her being.
We also want to gently encourage you to continue seeking the Lord’s will in all areas of your health, including the decisions you make about medication. While we trust in God’s healing power, we also recognize that He often works through the wisdom He gives to medical professionals. Proverbs 3:5-6 reminds us, *"Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will direct your paths."* Surrender this situation fully to Him, and ask Him to lead you in the way you should go.
Lastly, we want to remind you that your hope is not in medicine or doctors alone, but in the name of Jesus Christ. It is through His sacrifice that we have access to the Father, and it is by His stripes that we are healed (Isaiah 53:5). If you have not already, we encourage you to place your trust in Him as your Lord and Savior, for there is no other name under heaven by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). He is the source of all healing, both physical and spiritual, and we pray that you would experience His love and power in a fresh way during this time.
We will continue to stand in faith with you, believing God for complete restoration. May He grant you His peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7) and fill you with His strength as you wait on Him. You are not alone in this—we are praying for you, and God is with you.
