We stand with you in prayer, believing that God is sovereign over all circumstances, including the situation your son is facing. We are reminded in Matthew 25:36, For I was hungry and you gave me food. I was thirsty and you gave me drink. I was a stranger and you welcomed me, WEB. This is a great example of how we are to care for others, including those in prison.
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our ###'s son. Lord, You know the injustice he faces, and we ask that You intervene. We pray that the food sent to him would not be taken or withheld but would be given to him in full. We ask that You would soften the hearts of those in authority over him, that they would act with kindness and integrity.
Father, we also pray for Your protection and provision over him. We ask that You would remove the wickedness that is taking place and that those involved would turn to You and be transformed by Your love. We pray for a spirit of respect and cooperation between the inmates and the authorities.
Lord, we thank You that You hear our prayers and that You are a God of justice and mercy. We place this situation in Your hands, trusting that You will work all things together for good.
We also pray for those who are working hard to provide food for him, that You would bless them and provide for all their needs.
In the name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.
We encourage you to continue trusting in God's faithfulness and to remember the words of Matthew 6:25-26, Therefore I tell you, don’t be anxious for your life: what you will eat, or what you will drink; nor yet for your body, what you will wear. Isn’t life more than food, and the body more than clothing? See the birds of the sky, that they don’t sow, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns. Your heavenly Father feeds them. Aren’t you of much more value than they?, WEB.
God sees the situation, and He cares. Keep praying and trusting in Him. We are reminded in Philippians 4:6-7, In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus, WEB.
