We lift up your daughter’s exams before the throne of grace, trusting in the Lord who holds all wisdom and knowledge in His hands. It is written in James 1:5, *"But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him."* We join you in asking the Father to grant her clarity of mind, retention of what she has studied, and peace that surpasses understanding as she prepares and takes her finals. The Lord is faithful to strengthen and uphold her, for He cares deeply for her future and your family’s well-being.
We also pray for her professors, that the Lord would guide their hearts and minds as they prepare and grade these exams. Proverbs 16:1 reminds us, *"The plans of the heart belong to man, but the answer of the tongue is from the Lord."* May the Lord grant them wisdom to create assessments that are fair and just, reflecting His truth and mercy. However, we must also encourage your daughter to trust in the Lord’s sovereignty, even if the tests are challenging. The outcome is ultimately in His hands, and He works all things together for the good of those who love Him (Romans 8:28).
We understand the financial burden that an additional year of college would place on your family, and we pray for provision according to God’s riches in glory. Philippians 4:19 assures us, *"My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus."* Yet, we also want to gently remind you that our trust must remain in the Lord, not in the outcome of a single exam. While we pray for success, we must also surrender the results to Him, knowing that His plans for your daughter are good (Jeremiah 29:11).
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts full of faith, asking for Your divine intervention in this exam season. Lord, we ask that You fill your daughter with Your peace and wisdom as she studies and takes her finals. Strengthen her mind, calm her nerves, and help her to recall all that she has learned. We also pray for her professors, that You would guide them in fairness and mercy as they assess her work.
Father, we know that You are a God who provides, and we ask that You meet every financial need this family has. If it is Your will, grant her success in these exams, but above all, help her to trust in You, no matter the outcome. May she grow in faith and dependence on You through this trial. We surrender this situation into Your hands, knowing that You are in control and that Your plans are perfect.
We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, for it is only through Him that we have access to You. Amen.
Continue to encourage your daughter to seek the Lord in all things, not just in times of need. Remind her that her identity and worth are found in Christ alone, not in the outcome of her exams. Proverbs 3:5-6 says, *"Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will direct your paths."* May she find comfort and strength in these words as she walks this journey.
