Father God, I lift Heidi and her family to You in heartfelt prayer this day. It has been a rough couple of months, with so many health issues concerning Heidi's father. I pray that You would wrap Heidi up in Your arms of comfort and love, and gently guide her through this time. As she watches her father's health decline, it is such a hard process...I know. But I praise You that she has the assurance that her father has accepted Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior, and that his eternal place will be with You. We pray that Your will would be accomplished in all matters concerning Heidi's father. If a miracle of healing is Your plan, we welcome it with open arms...if it is not, we ask that You would lessen his pain, ease his struggles, comfort his soul...bring him home to a place of peace and rest with You swiftly and with much mercy. During this Christmas season, as we focus on the birth of Your Son, I pray that there is a rebirth within Heidi's father - that he feels You with him in each and every moment. Send a great measure of blessing, comfort, peace and trust into this family. Let them know that the bonds and memories of family shall never be broken. In the beautiful name of Jesus, I ask these things for my sister in Christ and her family. Amen.
