Your love for your daughters and granddaughter is evident, and we join you in crying out to the Lord for His divine intervention in each of these areas. Let us first honor the name above all names—Jesus Christ—through whom we have bold access to God’s presence. It is only through faith in Him that we are saved, and it is in His mighty name that we pray. *"There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"* (Acts 4:12, WEB). We are so grateful you are seeking the Lord in these matters, for He alone can bring true transformation.
Your oldest daughter’s struggle with her toxic work environment and the physical and emotional toll it has taken is a heavy burden, but we serve a God who is her Refuge and Strength. *"Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest."* (Matthew 11:28, WEB). We pray that the Lord would open doors for her to leave this harmful situation swiftly, that He would grant her favor with her attorney, and that justice and provision would come in His perfect timing. May He also heal her body from the injuries she has sustained, restoring her strength and peace. *"He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds."* (Psalm 147:3, WEB).
We must also address the addiction to Kratom, for while we rejoice that she has been delivered from other drugs, this too is a chain that must be broken in Jesus’ name. Addiction is a form of bondage, and our God did not call us to live in bondage but in freedom. *"Don’t you know that to whom you present yourselves as servants to obedience, his servants you are whom you obey; whether of sin to death, or of obedience to righteousness?"* (Romans 6:16, WEB). We rebuke this addiction in the name of Jesus and declare that the Holy Spirit is at work in her, giving her the power to overcome. *"No temptation has taken you except what is common to man. God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted above what you are able, but will with the temptation also make the way of escape, that you may be able to endure."* (1 Corinthians 10:13, WEB). We pray she would surrender this struggle to the Lord daily, seeking His strength rather than relying on substances that only offer temporary relief.
The strain in your relationship with her is deeply felt, and we ask the Lord to soften both of your hearts toward one another. The condescension and disrespect she has shown you grieve the heart of God, for He commands us to *"honor your father and mother,"* which is the first commandment with a promise: *"that it may be well with you, and you may live long on the earth."* (Ephesians 6:2-3, WEB). We pray that conviction would fall upon her heart, that she would see the love and sacrifice you have poured into her life, and that she would repent of any bitterness or resentment. At the same time, we ask the Lord to give you wisdom in how to love her well, setting godly boundaries where necessary while extending grace. *"If it is possible, as much as it is up to you, be at peace with all men."* (Romans 12:18, WEB). May your home be filled with the fruit of the Spirit—love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control—so that the enemy cannot find a foothold in division.
We also lift up your prayer for a godly husband for yourself and for your daughter. Marriage is a sacred covenant ordained by God, and we ask that He would prepare both of you for this blessing in His timing. *"A prudent wife is from Yahweh."* (Proverbs 19:14, WEB). We pray that you and your daughter would seek the Lord first, that your hearts would be aligned with His will, and that He would bring godly men into your lives who love Jesus above all else and would lead your future homes in righteousness. *"Unless Yahweh builds the house, they who build it labor in vain."* (Psalm 127:1, WEB). In the meantime, we ask that the Lord would be your ultimate Satisfier, filling any loneliness or longing with His presence. *"Delight yourself in Yahweh, and he will give you the desires of your heart."* (Psalm 37:4, WEB).
For your granddaughter, we stand in agreement for her complete deliverance from insomnia, OCD, and anorexia. These are not just physical or mental struggles—they are spiritual battles, and we declare that the enemy has no authority over her life. *"Behold, I have given you authority to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy. Nothing will in any way hurt you."* (Luke 10:19, WEB). We pray for a supernatural appetite to be restored, for her mind to be renewed by the truth of God’s Word, and for her body to be healed and strengthened. May she experience the peace of God that surpasses all understanding, guarding her heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). We also pray that her parents would be equipped with wisdom and discernment to support her in this journey, and that your family would be united in prayer and faith for her breakthrough.
For your sister, we cry out to the Lord that she would encounter Jesus in a real and transformative way. OCD can be a debilitating stronghold, but our God is greater. *"The Spirit of the Lord Yahweh is on me; because Yahweh has anointed me to preach good news to the humble. He has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives and release to those who are bound."* (Isaiah 61:1, WEB). We pray that the Holy Spirit would convict her of her need for a Savior, that she would surrender her life to Christ, and that He would break every chain of bondage in her mind and spirit. May she find her identity and freedom in Him alone.
As you gather for Thanksgiving, we ask the Lord to cover your family with His protection and peace. We bind any demonic assignments against your unity, your joy, or your health in the name of Jesus. *"Yahweh will give strength to his people. Yahweh will bless his people with peace."* (Psalm 29:11, WEB). May this time be marked by gratitude, reconciliation, and the tangible presence of God. We pray that any family alienation would be broken, that hearts would be turned toward one another in love, and that restoration would begin in Jesus’ name. *"He has sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives and recovery of sight to the blind, to set at liberty those who are oppressed."* (Luke 4:18, WEB).
Finally, we encourage you to continue standing in faith, for *"the effective, earnest prayer of a righteous person is powerfully effective."* (James 5:16, WEB). Do not grow weary in praying, for the Lord is working even when you cannot see it. Trust in His timing, and keep your eyes fixed on Him. *"Don’t be anxious for anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus."* (Philippians 4:6-7, WEB).
Heavenly Father, we come before You with these petitions, lifting up this precious family to Your throne of grace. You are the God who sees, who hears, and who acts on behalf of Your children. We ask that You would move mightily in each of these situations—bringing healing, deliverance, restoration, and redemption. Break every chain of addiction, bitterness, and bondage. Soften hearts, renew minds, and unite this family in Your love. Give them supernatural strength, wisdom, and faith to walk through these trials victoriously. We declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against them in judgment shall be condemned (Isaiah 54:17). Pour out Your Spirit upon them, Father, and let Your will be done in their lives. We ask all of this in the powerful, matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
