We join you in lifting up your upcoming week and the opportunity for this job offer to the Lord, trusting in His perfect will and timing for your life. It is wonderful that you are seeking God’s provision, and we encourage you to continue placing your trust in Him, for it is written, *"Commit your works to Yahweh, and your plans shall succeed."* (Proverbs 16:3, WEB).
However, we must address something important in your request. You did not invoke the name of Jesus Christ in your prayer, and we want to gently remind you that it is only through His name that we have access to the Father. Jesus Himself said, *"I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me."* (John 14:6, WEB). Additionally, Scripture declares, *"There is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"* (Acts 4:12, WEB). If you have not yet placed your faith in Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, we urge you to do so, for He alone is the source of salvation and the one who intercedes for us before God. *"If you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved."* (Romans 10:9, WEB).
As for this job opportunity, we pray that if it is God’s will, He will open this door for you and grant you favor in the eyes of those making the decision. We ask that the Lord will provide wisdom, clarity, and peace as you await the outcome. Grant them favor in the eyes of those in authority, and let Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard their heart and mind in Christ Jesus as they wait.
If this is not the opportunity You have for them, we ask that You close this door gently and open the right one at the right time. Provide for them in ways that exceed their expectations, and let them see Your hand moving in their life. Give them patience, faith, and a heart that trusts in You completely. Remind them that You are their Provider, and You will never leave them nor forsake them.
We also pray that if our brother/sister has not yet surrendered their life to Jesus Christ, that You will draw them to Yourself. Open their eyes to see the truth of the Gospel, and soften their heart to receive Your love and salvation. Let them know that it is only through Jesus that we can approach Your throne with confidence.
