praying for my daughters' emotional, physical, and spiritual health. Father I don't think we come to you willingly, for the scriptures tell us .." the natural man is an enemy of God"... I am continuing in prayer for the outpouring of God's precious holy spirit upon her life, both right now in this hour of need, and always. Father it is your holy spirit that draws us daily, let her heart be receptive so that her words and actions are guided by you. I pray that she abides in you in all her ways. what an empowered way to live. give her a discerning spirit Lord, sound judgement, wisdom in all things and the peace that surpasses all understanding. Oh Lord for the gift of your precious holy spirit and for the fruit that it produces in our lives, we could turn this world upside down... more correctly... right side up..

Father there are instances in the scriptures where you chose to pour out blessings upon the nation of Israel in spite of their murmuring and complaining and lack of faith. Father your people here today come to you in faith with their needs and petitions. Show us the same favour you should the children of Israel while still in their state of disobedience and ingratitude. We know how we should not be, and while we endeavour to live as you have commanded, we ask Lord you bless us in our struggles and in our failings. Pour out your mercies and favour upon us. We know that you are a good God who wants to bless us and prosper us. We know we are saved by grace through faith and not of ourselves, lest any man should boast, but that salvation is a free gift. We thank you for the finished work of Christ, and we love you because you loved us first. Father today we ask for a special blessing. an outpouring of your holy spirit. Let the tides turn, and bring forth new hearts and minds led only by you. We ask for new beginnings. Renewed wisdom in all situations renewed strength, renewed vigour of body mind and spirit, renewed relationships. All things made new again. Is not this the meaning of the words of scripture.. to be made a "new creation"... to be "born again". We know this is the work of your holy spirit, pour your spirit out upon us this day Lord, in Jesus name we ask amen.
