Praying for my marriage

My husband and I have only been married for a month and have encountered an amazing amount of distractions/ issues in that short time period. I am praying for a strong Godly marriage and for better communication. I am also praying for outside destractions to desolve. Thanks for your prayers!

Dear Lord Jesus~

Bless this new couple with joy, patience, and eyes only for each other. Bond their hearts together. The early years are precious, and formative. I ask You, Jesus, to protect them from any outside influence that seeks to pull them apart, or seeks to drive a wedge between them. I also ask that you give each spouse wisdom to have a supportive social network apart from their spouse, so there is not undue pressure. May this be a long, and joyful marriage for both this wife and her husband, in Your Name we pray, Jesus.
