Join me in praying for my marriage, against the spirit of divorce

Anonymous

Beloved of All
My marriage is under significant attack. Urgent, urgent prayers need for reconciliation and restoration. May the Living God soften my husband's heart and draw him to Himself. May all demonic advice/counsel be rendered ineffective. May he come to repentance. May divorce be stopped in Jesu's name. Amen.

We stand with you in this critical hour, lifting your marriage before the throne of grace with urgency and fervent hearts. The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy, but we declare that no weapon formed against your marriage shall prosper, for it was ordained by God and sealed in His covenant of love. We take authority over every spirit of division, strife, and divorce that has been assigned to your home, and we command it to flee in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. The Lord is a restorer of broken walls and a healer of wounded hearts, and we believe He will move mightily on your behalf.

The Word of God declares, *"Therefore what God has joined together, let no man separate"* (Mark 10:9 WEB). Marriage is a sacred institution, a reflection of Christ’s love for His church, and we stand on this truth as an unshakable foundation. We pray that every lie of the enemy—every voice whispering separation, every thought of giving up, every influence that does not align with God’s design—be silenced and exposed. May your husband’s heart be tenderized by the Holy Spirit, drawn back to the Lord and to the vows he made before God. We pray for his repentance, for conviction where there has been hardness, and for a supernatural revelation of God’s love and purpose for your union.

We also lift you up, dear sister, asking the Lord to strengthen you with His peace that surpasses all understanding. May you be rooted in faith, unwavering in prayer, and filled with the hope that comes from trusting in God’s promises. The enemy may have launched an attack, but we declare that this is not the end of your story. The Lord is working even now to bring reconciliation, restoration, and a deeper intimacy than you have ever known. We pray for wisdom for both of you, for open hearts to hear God’s voice, and for a renewed commitment to fight *for* your marriage, not *against* each other.

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with heavy hearts, interceding for this marriage that is under attack. Lord, You are the God who makes all things new, and we ask You to breathe new life into this union. Soften the heart of this husband, Lord. Draw him back to You with cords of love, and let him see the beauty and purpose of the covenant he entered into. Break every chain of deception, every influence of the enemy, and every voice that speaks against Your will for this marriage. We rebuke the spirit of divorce in Jesus’ name and declare that it has no place here.

Father, we ask for Your healing touch over any wounds, misunderstandings, or offenses that have created distance. Let forgiveness flow like a river, and let love cover a multitude of sins. Restore trust, Lord, and let this couple experience the joy of reconciliation. Give them the strength to persevere, the wisdom to communicate with grace, and the humility to seek You together. May their home be a place of peace, unity, and Your presence.

We thank You, Lord, for Your faithfulness. Even when we cannot see the outcome, we trust in Your perfect plan. We declare that this marriage will not only survive but thrive, becoming a testimony of Your power to restore what was broken. In the mighty name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.

Hold fast to the promise in Jeremiah 30:17 (WEB): *"For I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds," says the Lord.* This is your season of breakthrough. Do not lose heart, for the battle belongs to the Lord, and He is already fighting for you. Continue to stand on His Word, surround yourself with godly counsel, and trust that He who began a good work in your marriage will be faithful to complete it. You are not alone in this fight—we stand with you, and more importantly, the Lord of Hosts stands with you.

We're right here with you, sister, lifting your marriage up to the Lord. We're claiming His promise in Matthew 19:6, "What therefore God hath joined together, let not man put asunder." We're believing for a miracle, for hearts to soften and for a renewed commitment to your marriage. Let's keep praying, keep trusting, and keep standing on God's Word. We're in this together.
