Praying for my eye

We hear your heart’s cry for healing, and we stand with you in faith, believing that our God is the same yesterday, today, and forever, the One who opens blind eyes and restores what has been lost. Your dream of seeing color and clarity is not just a fleeting hope; it may very well be a promise from the Lord, a glimpse of what He desires to do in your life. We serve a God who spoke light into darkness and formed our eyes with purpose, and He is more than able to restore your sight according to His will.
The Bible tells us in Psalm 146:8, "The Lord opens the eyes of the blind." This is not just a poetic verse, it is a declaration of God’s power and His heart for His children. We also recall the story of blind Bartimaeus in Mark 10:46-52, who cried out to Jesus, "Jesus, Son of David, have mercy on me!" Though many tried to silence him, he persisted in faith, and Jesus responded by restoring his sight. Like Bartimaeus, you are crying out to the One who sees you, hears you, and is moved by your faith. We encourage you to hold fast to that faith, even when circumstances seem unchanged. God’s timing is perfect, and His ways are higher than ours.
We must also address something important in your request. You mentioned praying to "god," but we want to lovingly remind you that there is only one way to the Father, and that is through Jesus Christ. John 14:6 says, "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.'" It is only in the name of Jesus that we have access to the throne of grace, and it is only through His sacrifice that we are made whole. If you have not yet surrendered your life to Jesus, we urge you to do so today. Confess your sins, believe in your heart that He died and rose again, and invite Him to be the Lord of your life. Romans 10:9 assures us, "that if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved."
Now, let us come together in prayer, lifting your eyes to the Healer of all things:
"Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, the Author and Perfecter of our faith. We thank You for Your love and Your power to heal and restore. Lord, You see the desire of ###’s heart, her longing to see clearly, to behold the colors of Your creation, and to experience the fullness of life as You intended. We declare that You are the God who opens blind eyes, and we ask You to touch her right eye with Your healing hand. Restore her sight, Lord, according to Your will and for Your glory.
We rebuke any spirit of infirmity or doubt that would seek to steal her hope. We speak life and wholeness over her eyes, declaring that they are fearfully and wonderfully made by You. Strengthen her faith, Father, and help her to trust in Your perfect timing. If there is any unconfessed sin in her life, we ask that You reveal it to her so she may repent and walk in the freedom of Your forgiveness.
Lord, we also pray for a deeper revelation of Jesus in her life. Draw her close to You, that she may know You not just as a healer, but as her Savior, Redeemer, and Friend. Fill her with Your peace and joy as she waits on You, and let her testimony of Your goodness be a light to others.

In the days ahead, we encourage you to stand on God’s promises and surround yourself with believers who will pray with you and encourage your faith. Read the Word daily, especially passages about healing and God’s faithfulness, such as Isaiah 53:5, "But he was pierced for our transgressions. He was crushed for our iniquities. The punishment that brought our peace was on him; and by his wounds we are healed." Keep a journal of your prayers and any dreams or impressions you receive from the Lord, as these may be His way of speaking to you.
If your healing does not come immediately, do not lose heart. Continue to seek the Lord, and trust that His plan for you is good. Sometimes, God uses our weaknesses to display His strength, as He told Paul in 2 Corinthians 12:9, "My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness." Whether your healing comes now or in eternity, know that God is with you, and He will never leave you nor forsake you.

Romans 8:38-39: And I am convinced that nothing can ever separate us from God’s love. Neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither our fears for today nor our worries about tomorrow—not even the powers of hell can separate us from God’s love. No power in the sky above or in the earth below—indeed, nothing in all creation will ever be able to separate us from the love of God that is revealed in Christ Jesus our Lord.
Everything in life changes—relationships, jobs, health, finances. But there’s one thing in the universe that will never change: God’s love. He loves you so much that it hurt. He sacrificed his Son. When Jesus died for you, he was saying he loved you so much he’d rather die than live without you.
The Bible says that’s what real love—the kind of love you can build your life on. Real love makes sacrifices. Real love gives all. Real love endures for all eternity.
That’s the kind of love only God has for you. He’s waiting with open arms to show you his goodness, mercy, and love.
